I think you're absolutely right that the team lacks leaders. But what you attribute to Tonali is wrong and based on transfiguration. Remember the phase from January to March 2023. We were so bad, Maldini wanted to bring in Pirlo as coach and there was already a lack of leaders, while Tonali was on the pitch and was sometimes invisible or even overburdened.

You're confusing identification figure and leader. However, it has to be said that this team lacks both. Reijnders and Pulisic, who always give their all and pull the cart out of the mud as they did against Como, are the closest to fulfilling these roles.

It's noticeable here that we haven't managed to integrate players from the Primavera since Donnarumma and that we've lost Romagnoli and Kessie.

I'm also not sure whether we'll get it fixed so quickly, because growing something like this takes time and patience. What don't we have? Time and patience.

Just look at how many fans have already written off Gimenez. That's totally stupid. The transition from Holland to Serie A is big, he had no pre-season. Give him six months to settle in.

Look at Hugo Etikite in Frankfurt. Even in the Bundesliga he was a ghost for half a year and not a factor. Now he's playing a strong season.

Football is a shitty and idiotic business.
There is no confusion for me at all...a true leader has to bleed for the team, his badge...Tonali has the Milan DNA...he fight for every match...I still remember how he push away Dumfries in the derby...I still remember how he use his clumsy knee touch to win against Lazio that literally bring us the title...a true leader brings special moments...a true leader brings miracles. I dont see anyone in current squad that really has the quality being a leader and can be the soul of the team...and how you compare at the time Jan to Mar 2023 he was a 23 year old player and he maybe not mature enough. But he is the closest that we have to be nurtured as a real leader. Bear in mind the management not able to renew Calhanoglu and Kessie which is tearing the whole midline apart and that was a very tough situation at that time. It is not really Tonali not able to take his leadership.

As you mention Pulisic and Reijnders, I agree they are good players but they are not leaders. Leaders have to bring the team together and now what they shown is they can perform well but the whole team unfortunately is falling apart.

And guys, we are having management like Scaroni as President and owner like red bird, Scaroni is like NPC for me who doesn't show his passion in Milan. Red Bird is just looking at Milan as commercial vehicle and aim at selling for profit. How Milan is operating now is not the Milan that I knew in the old days...which I miss a lot...this kind of structure wont really bring success..

What the management doing now, getting Walker onboard while trying to get some leadership which to me is laughable...I believe leadership is from the trust of the team. Walker how he shown his attitude in Dele Ali case, how he told in front of the media his case in Manchester City hasnt end...how he "teach" Joao Felix and ask him to pass while in real situation speech like that only make Felix situation even worse by losing more confidence...is a joke..

A real leader cant be borrowed...can only be nurtured from the club and representing the soul of the team.

Thought for today.

Even if we lose today... We're still safe in 9th place x

The News: Pasquarelli appears to be behind the San Siro project, the manager who negotiated with Sala the construction of Cascina Merlata and former CEO of the company that will be responsible for rebuilding the trotting area... adjacent to San Siro. The crossroads But the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of Auditors are also working on the other major urban planning issue (with two open files, for now without suspects): the sale of the San Siro stadium and surrounding areas (280,000 square meters in total) to the funds owning Milan and Inter for just 197 million euros. Who is Pasquarelli? Just like politics. “Have you seen that among the names of the Steering Committee (the highest level decision-making body in a project, ed.) that make up the San Siro project for Milan and Inter there is Alessandro Pasquarelli?”, asked the FdI city councilor, Enrico Marcora, in the chamber on Monday, “Isn’t Pasquarelli a friend of the Mayor? Is it therefore true that the Mayor is selling a property of the Municipality to Milan and Inter, who have a friend of his among the professionals?”. The man who built Cascina Merlata and his relationship with Sala during the Expo Whether they are friends is not known, but Sala and Pasquarelli certainly have a long-standing relationship, as the manager was the CEO of EUROMILANO SPA, the company that built Cascina Merlata, the residential neighborhood left over from the post-Expo. The two, Sala as sub-commissioner for the event and Pasquarelli as owner of the areas, had the opportunity to collaborate for a long time. And that's not all. Pasquarelli's activity in Yard Reaas and the relationships with Hines and the Municipality From 2017 to 2024 Pasquarelli was also CEO and CEO of Yard Reaas, a group specialized in real estate consultancy, which in recent years has acted as Technical Advisor in numerous real estate operations carried out by the Hines group, such as the logistics hub in via Rubattino 87 ( 110,000 sq m) or the regeneration of the Lambrate area (8 new buildings for a total of 40,000 sq m), all operations that required continuous dialogue with the municipal administration. As well as the sale of the historic headquarters of the municipal company A2A in Corso Porta Vittoria 4 (there too Yard Reaas was Technical Advisor). Yard Reaas directs work on new Trotto district, next to San Siro Not only that, the Hines group has also entrusted Yard Reaas with the challenging role of General Management of Works for the new luxury Trotto district that is being built right next to the San Siro stadium, in an area that became buildable under the Pisapia administration, when De Cesaris was the councilor for urban planning. Two absolutely complementary projects, according to many, one totally residential (the Trotto), the other sports and commercial (San Siro, where the stadium law does not allow residential construction). After all, those 98,321 square meters of services, offices, shops, shopping centers and health center planned for San Siro, to whom should they be destined? Certainly not to the residents of the public housing in the area…

And haven't you heard? It was Gazidis who held everything together. Gazidis who tried to stab Maldini and Boban in their backside and got burned by Boban. The grand string puller.
I'm surprised Boban hasn't had his turn as the true genius behind our revival.

Funny how we don't beat the drum that Boban won his wrongful termination suit with Gazidis being found liable--oh, and Milan having to pay for it.

He is betting on Milan every time...is violating the regulation but not a conduct issue for me..you haven't seen the old days while players are on drugs and much worse cases..again he is not perfect but he is who we need. While you laugh off your chair beware we are in 9th place..

Tonali "First 6 months, my mind was telling me: 'Sandro, you didn't make a mistake.' If I lost my job and my family, I would immediately realize I made a mistake. But no one took my salary, they just suspended my job. It's hard to make someone understand their mistake when they have everything."

"I worked for a year with the psychologist, meeting him 4 times a week. When I started, it wasn’t easy: I couldn’t take medication because of anti-doping rules. It’s hard to make someone understand their mistake when they have no basis for it because they already have everything."
"I was lucky to be in England. I lived 7 months without a phone, without a tablet. I only watched TV for the matches and movies. I didn’t watch the news, no updates came to me. Not looking at social media and TV completely lightened me. I have no idea what happened during those months, and I don’t care, that’s the beauty. I know I made a mistake, I know I paid for it, and I worked to be a better man."

Proud of Sir Sandro.

Yeah, let's write off someone who arrived in this mess from the Dutch league 2 months ago. :o

I'm not saying there's no possibility of him turning into Piatek, but, please...

Furlani: “A new organizational structure with #Moncada and #Ibrahimovic still involved, plus a new sporting director? It’s too early to comment on all these details — I’d rather avoid that for now. #Conceicao? Until proven otherwise, he is our coach. We are focused on finishing the season well.

The profile we're looking for is someone who can help us win — what's important is that it's the right person. We're not naming names and haven’t made any decisions yet. Will it be an Italian executive? That will be carefully evaluated.”

In before the media say today "final agreement with D'Amico reached!!" and tomorrow "incredible turn of events! everything is a mess!"
