It's crazy to think that, but it's almost as they planned to flip Milan later for a profit.

That would explain their obsession with marketing and the new stadium.

Perhaps they thought Milan would comfortably stay top 4 in Italy while they do jackshit in the sporting direction.

Boy where they wrong. :proud:
yup this is likely

but i think there's something else there... Cardinale is using this club for something.

there are easier ways for a wealthy person with a lot of connections to make money than owning a football club, which is notoriously hard (if the aim is successful club)

Positivity and hope in this sport as a fan, that's an issue?

In any case, what I am first and foremost is someone who thinks the Maldini sacking was the point of no return for this shitshow.

Dark times ahead is my current impression, for the same reasons you listed. I have no hope for anything positive at Milan for the foreseeable future.
but links to Tare

Napoli played half as many games as Inter this season. Conte has zero excuses to choke the title. And yet he’s already been back at ranting last night about how the tight schedule is draining his team, how the pressure is getting to him, how empty he feels, and how he’s just trying to crawl to the finish line.

Seriously – this Napoli season has been one of the easiest managerial gigs in years. No Europe, no Coppa run, one game a week. And still, he’s on the verge of bottling it. Now he’s laying the groundwork in case he actually blows it on the final day.

What a pathetic little man.
I saw a part of his presser where he was almost crying, very emotional so I know he's disappointed but still praised his players and said it was an incredible job that his team did. If he wins all is forgiven and forgotten and it remains to be seen if he will stay at Napoli, it might depend on whether ADL will accept his demands.

Next season we'll be in the same boat, and we'll see if we can replicate Napoli's success. They went from 10th to first, can we go from 9th to first in the same situation?

Yep, no way we simply bounce back next season.
Especially not with these people in charge. :proud:

People are laughing at the potential of us signing cheap players. Bruh, great players can even be free. Before that, you must have a good head coach who knows what he's doing. Then you give him the players with the exact profiles of his request.

Sounds so simple and yes it is simple. But only if you have a fucking competent management. It's the root of all cause. You give ZERO money to Marotta and he'll still give you a championship contending team. And yet you if give Furlani and Moncada 200m, they'll bring in Royale with Cheese, Musah, Morata, Pavlova and more dimwits.

Business moguls have been treating football clubs like commodities/investments for decades tbh

Difference is that Berlusconi was from Milan, cared about football, actually experienced the feedback loop when Milan had success and used that goodwill in other endeavours.
Also in Berluconi's (early) era, the cost of bringing a football club success was way more manageable. With current sportswashing entities like Saudi, it's almost impossible for local entrepreneurs to fund a club to international success. Especially in Italy.

Cardinale lives in the US, has stakes in baseball clubs, american football clubs, hollywood studios and who knows what more. Owning Milan is probably just portfolio diversification for him, maybe a favor for some business partner or who knows. What's apparent is that he does not care about Milan, it's just one of many investments on the other side of the world.

Another interesting aspect of the last matchday is that both Conte and Inzaghi will be suspended.
It's kind of a shame because their theatrics on the sidelines are pure entertainment. Yesterday Conte wanted to choke one of the Parma coaches while yelling "pezzo di merda", piece of shit, that was easy to hear.

AC Milan is pleased to announce its return to Perth, Western Australia, as part of the 2025 Pre-Season Tour. The Rossoneri will face Perth Glory on Thursday 31 July at HBF Park, in the final leg of their summer tour of the Asia-Pacific region, which also includes matches against Arsenal in Singapore (23 July) and Liverpool in Hong Kong (26 July).

The match will see Milan take on Perth Glory, one of the most established clubs in Australian football, currently competing in the A-League, the country's top division.
Ah yes, back to the China-owned Australia, Authoritarian Singapore and Communist Hong Kong.

This club has fallen so low to scrap a few bucks.

Serie A as a whole needs to be better led. That’s where the bigger issue is.

If Milan is a Premier League team, rich investors will be lining up whether we are in European competitions or not. Italian clubs suffer in general. Only Juve, with their own stadium is financially ok.

Yes, I agree, management took 4th place for granted, and their ambition was clear when they selected Fonseca after embarrassing losses to Inter last season.

Does anyone know if inter has a B team for next season and competes in serie C, does the rule mean that Futuro will never be able to get promoted to Serie C unless one of the three B teams(Juve,Atlanta &inter) are either relegated or promoted?

So what sorta players could we look to attract over the summer?

With the stock value of Milan at a low, who in their right mind would want to sign for us?

Genuinely I'm really worried, especially if we see a few big names departures...

Even if i was in charge with decisions..with 0 experience..i dont think i would have fucked up so bad in 2 years (from the inter CL semi-final to now).
My God i hate all of them..

Reijnders would be a complete fool to choose current Milan over City, so can't blame him one bit. The man still wants to have a career and this Milan is not the place for serious players.
I just wonder what that means for other 'key' players in our team. We can't have everybody leave at the same time, because that would mean another disaster season, as this management is unwilling to invest, and incapable of looking for solid alternatives.
We don't have "other key players" bro. We've been failed time and time again from our so called "key players".

I love both of them lol

Love inzhagi

Wish we had Simone. What Ana amazing coach he is.

Right now I would still take any of the following

Conte Allegri sarri(preferred and yes I know he is ageing but so what? He is still good)
And Gasperini or spaletti if he wants to leave the Italy coach role

Gasperini won’t come it seems and de zerbi I don’t know he may need a lot of time to build the team and we really really don’t have that. We need a scudetto next season and seriously it is doable in this league. Especially with one comp. Zero excuses.
