not many clubs bring vets to guide the young ones and have the kids corrupt the vets
Tonali looks like the boy next door, the kind of kid that you want your daughter to marry, in the U.S. the All-American boy. Nobody suspected that behind the angelic facade lurked an evil mastermind.

We're in a Catch-22 situation in that we don't have money to spend but if we don't spend we won't improve our squad and will suffer more losses.

So, we need to improve our center-back position that's been responsible among other thing for many set piece goals and also not great at man marking. We have Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic, and Thiaw. Let's say we wan to add two Cbs to the mix: Which two of the current squad should we sell?

Lucca and Piccoli are underwhelming, the others are fine with Ricci and Udogie the more experienced, Coppola and Leoni the most promising, Caviglia not sure. Piccoli did score 10 goals at Cagliari, is good in the air, but doesn't provide much else. Remember his time at Atalanta where he came in late in matches when losing but not sure if he's better than Colombo who's eternally on loan.

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini

Milan needs a leading centre back to lead the back line. Keeping the back line in order.

Tomori needs a leader to help him stay calm. When Kjaer was with him Tomori was playing well and kept his head more often.

Gabbia again plays well when he has a leading defender keeping things in order.

Pavlovic has attributes but his positional awareness is so bad, he is too wreck-less and clumsy.

Thiaw can be frustrating he plays well in patches and then goes through patches of stupidity. But he has attributes too and under the guidance of a leading CB he can grow as a player.

I would sell Pavlovic without hesitation, it is a close call between Tomori and Thiaw. I would keep Gabbia.

I think everyone in Casa Milan does. The problem is they made a hell of an incompetent job nontheless.
Too focused on accounting-success or marketing incentives and not enough on the sporting success in a sporting venture.

Conceicao isn’t giving a prematch press conference. He’s probably going to rip into the club right after the final whistle.

I want to see that. I want people here torn between bashing the club with him – or suddenly defending our management against Conceicao, of all people. Like... really? Out of everyone, he is the one who should sit this one out and shut the hell up. But on the other hand, he's absolutely fucking right. Aaaargh!

Get Pavlovic outta here, he's a reckless clown out there. The others can all somewhat work playing alongside a stable real cb.

Well, you can’t say they didn’t spend. In January, they even did try to course-correct – credit where it’s due, even if you can’t stand them.

The problem is the laughably bad results – results so bad, you can’t even blame it all on hiring the wrong coach. Now we’re the highest-spending club over the past two years... and we collapsed from 2nd to 9th and we will lose a lot more money.

The virtuous cycle has turned into a vicious one. That's what Felice Raimondo is saying.

Gabbia is probably a keep for club quota.

The other ones probably depend on what offers we receive and type of coach. Pavlovič could maybe be interesting for Motta profile wise.

We always brag about how well we are doing financially, but one year without Europe already puts us in the red. Great, well done lads. :o

Even though they don't spend much, and we've been getting money from CL for years.

I think Juve will trigger Kalulu’s release clause, and since the special early transfer window in June is designed to help clubs prepare for the Club World Cup, that deal could still be registered in this season’s books.

That would reduce the deficit to around 5M – basically a rounding error. Whether it’s 5M in the red or black makes no real difference. It’s essentially breaking even. And who knows – we might manage to offset it with other outgoing players too, or instead.

So yeah, I’m fairly confident we’ll end this season close to balance.

The real problem is next season. With no European competitions, we’re staring at a ~80M shortfall – from participation fees, prize money, ticket sales, and sponsorship bonuses. That’s where the financial hit will really bite.

This is shaping up to be one of the most important – and transformative – summers in years. Gerry simply can’t afford to let his asset miss out on the Champions League two years in a row. That would blow up his exit strategy.

That’s probably why he pushed Furlani to bring in Tare and finally hand over the sporting keys. At least that’s what the reports are saying – and frankly, it’s the only thing that adds up. Something I’ve been hammering home for weeks now.

I may be wrong or overly enthusiastic and optimistic sometimes. But on this one I feel I'm bang on.

Depends on the coach, but I think most of our defensive problems are rooted in our inability to maintain possession which means we cannot construct attacks in a systematic and controlled way. It means we are always in a state of transition, where our rest-defense (our positioning while we attack) is not actually set, because players are making runs when we try to attack, and if we lose the ball before we can get back into position, our defense is put in the most vulnerable position--possession is as much of a defensive tool as it is an offensive one.

That being said? Pavlovic. Has he had a stretch of good performances this season? Three good games in a row? Hell, two? People can say what they like about Gabbia, Tomori, and Thiaw, but all of them have been able to show stretches of good form.

I think we need a real RB, Jimenez needs time and we need someone reliable while he grows. I also think we need a backup LB if we keep Theo, he's played less than only Mike and Tiji this year.

i think i did it, there was a potential conflict cause he had dif personal permissions vs his user group
so i just deleted the personal permissions bit so he can inherit his user group perms, so it's either fixed or he cant speak at all now but hopefully the former

8 year olds, Dude...
Rip into what? The fact that he got every player he wanted, got kicked out of cl from feynoord, lost the copa to bologna and got us ninth?
Dayum, you're on fire fh, keep it up!
I just met Theo, asked him many times if he is going to stay and he did not reply, the lawyer who was with him, told me he will stay in the end
I see Theo is working not only on changing a club but also a bank... That restraining order against @ACM14061988 can't come soon enough... 🙃

Pitty that Gerry & Furlani never come there, after our insider's grilling they'd sell in no time!
