Gotta love how Gazzetta blatantly deflects from Merda's failures to report on something entirely non-related.

Their alternative solution:

Allegri would have absolutely spoken to Mike, or at worst his agent. He has active offers from abroad, so they HAVE to be talking.

Why wouldn't a new coach want clarity about his situation, nevermind our Sporting Director, who either has to move him out or get a contract done.

These guys are on int'l duty. They practice for like 2hrs/day... There's 24hrs in a day, and they are STILL OWNED by their clubs in the summer.
Not even that, thinking that a professional player is occupying himself with contract discussions and negotiations when in fact he has about 10 intermediaries to handle that for them, is quite unconnected with today's footballing worls

Raiola essentially molded Donna's career (with how RnB gloats about maldini calling him to notify that we got maignan, like it's some sort of a win) to great effect, and only notable player that comes to mind in actually 'handled his negotiations' is De bruyne at man city

The rest have business advisors, health advisors, sporting, financial, etc.

RnB questioning modric's potential utility in the squad is a classic beggar choosing

Oh no, so musah can run faster by 15% and has greater stamina. Only problem is that he's a donkey in all other aspects.

Bar reindeer, a motivated Modric (which he seems to be, humble and dedicated in general) will take this midfield with one arm tied behind his back

Nobody rates Musah problem is so far it looks like we are replacing Reindeers with a 40 year old and Ricci. Or if not them, it will be more box to box merchants in Rabiot or Guendouzi

Good Morning Pep fans

Mere mention of Ancelotti's departure was enough to put a smile on Guardiola's lips.
The pair faced each other five times in the knockout rounds of the Champions League, with the Italian coming out on top in all but one.
"I'm so happy for him,” Guardiola said. "But I'm so happy that he's not in Madrid anymore because all the time he beats me. That I don't have to handle it anymore."

Have no clue why Cambiaso is talked about so much. He is as much average, as average gets. Sure, get him. But I fail to see how this guy is worth more than Kalulu for example....yet some of the figures mentioned for him are as much as 40m. How the fuk??? I'd argue Kalulu should he valued higher actually, and Juventus got him for 20 (at most)

So, again... You're completely missing the point of lowerring the base fee. It's allows us to pay LESS of the sell-on fee to AZ.
Which is why the vast majority of the bonuses in place are very easy to attain, to make sure we get them.

You don't pay sell-on fees on bonuses. It was a smart move, unless you think City is getting relegated next season

Base fee = € 57m ➡️ € 5.7m to Alkmaar, € 51.3m to Milan plus € 15m bonuses = € 66.3m in total for Milan.

Base fee = € 70m ➡️ € 7m to Alkmaar, € 63m to Milan plus € 15m bonuses = € 78m in total for Milan.

Honestly, I think u‘re missing the point. There’s nothing smart in having 51.3m now instead of having 63m right now.

Even if I want to build a scenario where I say we’ve a lower fixed amount n more bonuses, then I’ve to discount the future inflow of bonuses cause in a year's time it’ll be worth less than today. The financial-mathematical discounting completely cancels out the effect of us paying less to Alkmaar now.

It's a shitty deal for us, whichever way you look at it. No excuses.

We pay on the plusvalenza.... So it's 10% on top of what we purchased him for.

and also, of course 70M+15M bonuses is better, wat kind of argument is this? We settled on 70M total. not 85M
