I took some time to process how the squad looks at the moment (wage bill, transfer fees for confirmed deals etc.), to see what Tare and co. are working with:
1750856458491.png

The sheet basically lists all of our players from last season and this one, also some of the potential targets. Last two columns represent if the players were part of the team last season and this one (green if player was part of the team, gray if it is not, orange if it is speculation).

Last three rows sum up the numbers:
- first row calculates wage bill for last season (not accurate as some of the players arrived/left during winter market, also the numbers are not official etc but it is good enough to understand)
- second row shows the current status as of today, it takes into account all players in the roster at the moment, and shows the current wage bill and earnings from the concluded transfers (I counted Theo as done deal)
- third row show how it should look like if Tare decides to complete four 'orange' transfers for reported numbers

Bottom line, currently we have earned 94M fixed fee + 23M in bonuses to work with. Also, with confirmed departures and loan ends, we are cca 28M under wage bill from last season.

Getting all of our midfield targets should leave us cca 34M+13M to spend. Also, further sales (loans out) are expected (Musah cca 20+5M, Adli, Bennacer, Bondo, Pobega more likely to leave on loan; Emerson, Okafor + Chukwuedze could leave as well) so we should realistically have another 75M + 15M bonuses to spend on starting LB, starting/rotation RB (depends how Allegri will use Saelemaekers and Jimenez) and striker (Vlahovic?). For central defenders, I expect us to cash in on Tomori/Thiaw and get Leoni.

EDIT: Gross wage for Modric and Xhaka is calculated as 4M/y. net, and for Ricci and Jashari as 3.5M/y net

Think for current numbers (22+3) Ricci is a fair deal. It becomes a good deal if he is paired w Modric n Xhaka cause Ricci’ll need their guidance. Then he‘ll be Xhaka‘s heir.

Then asa Bennacer, Musah, Adli, Pobega are gone we‘ll add another one. Maybe Guerra.

Honestly wages we pay is pittance. Maybe that’s why players don’t try hard enough. The top ones

Even lakaka gets more than lmeao

Growth decree still on? Not sure. But nice work.

Wiki says 36 games played for us somehow @sheva

I swear I’d agree it was only 10.
36 appearances in 22/23, I guess Paolo really wanted to justify his purchase, lol

And 3 g+a in 1180 minutes played in total which gives us a.. Contribution for every 4.3 matches played based off g+a per 90'

Would rather have 10 sulky morata's than this guy

Ricci to me smells like a tonali esque deal

Coming from an inferior team, looking to make the next step in his career, with decent and reliable stats from past seasons, and will profess his love for Milan since an early age once he arrives (if he hasn't already, I don't follow)

We need those hungry and motivated players, especially when they'll have a Modric with them on the field and an allegri with them off field.
Just hope the toxicity of the management/our 'stars' won't trickle down and it be a proper balancing act.

Cautious hopium for this one.
We could start negotiations with Newcastle .

Ricci + Xhaka + Modric + Jashari would indeed be a midfield overhaul.
Add to that Fofana + RLC (assuming he's staying after Tare's words), and it's a solid group. Not sure who replaces Reijnders's role in terms of attacking output. Don't know enough about the Jashari kid, but apparently he's more of a "regista"? Modric and Xhaka have never been big goal contributors, while Ricci operates from deep as well.

If we're getting Ricci, I don't think we need Xhaka. They are very similar players and operate in the same space. I like the depth we would have, sure. But I do think we would also need an attacking profile out of midfield. Ideally, RLC is moved on and replaced with an attacking minded midfielder. But not too hopeful of that after Tare made it seem like he's the second coming of Seedorf.

Thats peculiar. What is Gattuso's position on your list?
Nevermind Nestafan.
He is blinded by his love of long hair and hairbands.

Antonini's passion is heavily overrated based on Leonardo season when he played with Ronaldinho though.
He was a fodder with passion that season like our version of Giaccherini, scoring vs Juve etc. and some people just love these ''underdogs'' for some reason.
But in reality majority of the time Antonini was really not that ''passionate'', he was just plain trash like Bonera who gave many a Milan fan a heart-attack as soon as we saw his name in the line-up.

Allegri, not Leonardo was the coach the night of THAT performance against Barca in 2012.
The superstars don't always have to be the favourite players in the team. Often, the lesser talented players that give their all are more relatable.

Imo Ricci means Xhaka is not coming, I think that both are strictly CDM's and we also already have Modrić for same position.
Jashari and Guerra are more like LCM's for this formations.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited for young talented italians. Leoni next, please. :proud:
After having the luxury of not having a CDM for 3 seasons since kessie left, I think management can squeeze in 2 players for the same role, especially if they build towards the future

On an eneducated scouting level, I think xhaxa is a real CDM, ball buster with a good engine (van bommel..) while Ricci can operate more as a double pivot or a centrocampista, with Modric taking the centre forward midfield option without much defensive duties

Fofana will act as a ricci/xhaxa replacement as he could fit both roles, CDM against low block teams which we don't need much muscle in midfield for

Forgot we have Fofana. Now with Ricci coming it can only be one of Jashari, Xhaka or Guerra.
I'd send Fofana away though. Didn't like him last season

Someone give it to me straight

Is Ricci fodder
Average player
Decent backup

That’s it

If he is told what to do in a specific system with clear instructions then he can follow it. That’s about it. He can do a job as cover

You can always install Windows LTSC (google it if you are unfamiliar with it), it bypasses hardware requirements and you receive updates practically indefinitely. I run Windows 11 LTSC on 3 of my rigs, while only 1 can "officially" support it. You can find versions with less bloatware, versions with only key features etc. Was a lifesaver for me, bc I just couldn't get into Mint or other Linux-based distros... And it wasn't for a lack of trying, I'll tell you that.
Thanks, man. is this Win without bells&whistles? less bloatware? its ideal!
