Even if Roma beat Napoli we're still 4th. Roma will likely shit the bed to Napoli, and we're still 4th with even more of a cushion.

We've been shit most of the season. But we're 4th. It's not some fluke, other teams below us have also been poor but we have been less poor to be where we are. Obviously something this season is going well if we can play like Serie C side and still pick up points to be 4th with 9 games to go. Season is a long way til over but we'll end in CL places.

Atalanta, Lazio and Roma can still overtake us. Not sure why you are so confident of 4th. Next weekend we have Juventus which is likely a loss or a draw if we are lucky. If we don’t get 3 points at Udinese we will be out of top 4 by the weekend for sure. This loss at Sampdoria is a massive massive disaster

Someone please make sure Leonardo watches this at least twice a day.

Abate always makes me laugh in that video.

Yeah....and here I was calling Shitelegri a n00b. Gattuso makes Allegri look like a master tactician :D

But

Rino has definitely learned from his mistakes and has shown some growth. There's always hope

??? Allegri has proven to be one of the best coaches in the world and specifically in his tactics and game management. Please don't disrespect him.

No it's not. We're still going to be 4.5 points ahead of Roma and if Lazio also lose they'll be at most 3 points behind and they have a worse schedule including away to Milan. Atalanta maybe are a dark horse. I don't know. But we're still in a very good position.

What dip?
He's been okay throughout the season. He hasn't been carrying, nor dragging the team down.

I thought he did really well yesterday.

Well if I get banned for calling Berlusqoni a shithead (again, 4 months) surely the stuff below is unacceptable. I mean even the dude calling for Gattuso to kill himself gets a couple of weeks. Go check out his posts. Almost nothing to do with the thread/conversation or football. Almost exclusively about either a poster or some dumb irrelevant shit. Then you got the ppl with an axe to grind below.

Not that this matters. Eventually I'll get tired of it all and respond to the ppl throwing stones from their glass houses. And necro will swoop in to restore justice :proud:

Surely it had nothing to do with the fact the situation went from me welcoming you back to you instantly calling me a shithead, and a dumb cunt , or the fact that you keep pushing your lies about me whenever opportunity arises, just because you hate me with a strong passion.

I've stepped over the line a few times during my time here, and I've been punished for it. I've even got a few 'softer' bans due to that record, however, unlike you I don't go around whining about it 24/7 like some sjw youtuber.

No way that plays into it at all :monto:

AC Milan 2019/2020
Manager: Gian Piero Gasperini

I'm thinking he makes more sense than Conte. Cheaper, obviously, but he's coached Kessie, Conti, Caldara (and Suso) and does magic with young players. Feel like after Inter he has a point to prove maybe.

I love Gattuso but i'm starting to wake up to the fact that maybe he has a low ceiling and we've reached it already.

Can you imagine having this shit coach and being in CL? Getting hammered weekly by much better clubs?

Imagine how negatively that would impact these young players?

If the management backs him up this summer they should get fired too.

Fuck legends, get competent people to lead the club.

Yeah... Atalanta play on such a high level, we could never beat them. Never.

I can understand being frustrated with Gattuso. But he's not Sarri. He doesn't do the exact same thing every time. He changed our formation at least 3 times against both Samp and Inter. He got it wrong against Inter, again. But I think we deserved a draw in both games. Samp was an ugly game, but I think the result was harsh due to it being an error. Donna has saved us so many times, to be fair to him. Gattuso is a newer manager, but he's doing well. Two losses sucks, but Udinese is a great opportunity to bounce back.

Suso and Samu did poor yesterday. Samu, I was warming to, but he took two steps back yesterday. Suso did poorly, but even in a tough game, his crosses were really off. With Piatek, he has a great target and he should do better.

Yesterday, I don't think our defense or midfield did anything wrong. They were under siege, because our attack was doing nothing.

Piatek needs to learn to hold onto the ball and come back a bit to lay it off. When we get the ball, he makes a forward run immediately. It makes defending him more predictable. It also means that the long ball becomes the only option. Without a strike partner to pull the second CB, he's getting doubled. When he comes back a bit, lays it off to his wingers or the midfielder, then he makes his run forward, he'll have more space.

Remember our game vs Atalanta?

Yep, they were whipping the floor with us until Piatek scored a goal out of nowhere. We've been playing like shit all season, I have no idea why it is so hard to grasp

So, when we slapped them around in the second half, it didn't count?

How many games have we played better, much better than the other team, only to mess it up? That was our problem the first 8 games of the season.

Where did I say that it does not count? Please show me. Playing better than Empoli does not mean that we are playing good football you know :fp: Turn on Roma-Napoli and you will see what good football means

So, are we playing poorly because of Gattuso? Or because our players don't have the quality that would be required for us to play at that level?

Roma have looked even worse under Ranieri than EDF, to be fair.

Oh, and you implied that we didn't deserve it by mentioning Atalanta playing so well in the first half. You didn't have to say it explicitly.

We rebuilding. What’s with this negativity.

It's kinda amazing that ppl aren't seeing the progress we've made.
In other news Lord Carletto is helping us the fuck out :thumbsup:

I wonder how much Hazard, on his last year and who wants to leave, would cost? I know the ban for Chelsea might make it more complicated, but they risk losing him for free in a year.

Our players are certainly better than Samp's or Atalanta's. Both teams play better football than us. Same goes for Viola each time I watch them.
You need to find the difference between playing well and getting good results. If you play well, you get consistently good results throughout the whole season, but if you play like shit your results depend on your striker being clinical or a lucky penalty/own goal. Sometimes it works out, sometimes not.

Wouldn't a draw between Inter and Lazio help us the most? I haven't given up on 3rd. I think we can still get it.

There's absolutely 0 difference between 3rd and 4th place since they removed the qualifications a year ago.

That being said, an Inter win tonight will benefit us more.

We have 1 point more than we had last season at this stage.
Grazie Grintuso for this monumental improvement :proud:

Forza tho.. Napoli killing roma is great for us.. a draw between lazio and inter would be best but i wouldnt cry if merda were to win.. we re at risk to lose that 4th spot, let alone getting cocky and aiming for 3rd or 2nd
