So we're going to just pretend that the footage that you thought was Vasquez, and proceeded to justify your boy to keep his spot, because of how bad it was... turns out it was... Tata, and you're going to ask me about Plizzari? And Reina?

Lol, sidenote: I'm thinking of Skip Bayless saying the name "Tatarusanu" and it's hilarious to me.
This purely your invention Samuel A. Smith, very dishonest to suggest that.

Pioli has proceeded to justify keeping Tata there :o I've said fuck it try, Mirante or Vasquez and see if they do worse, but he's keeping him in. I've been saying that none of the guys we have (or can get) would do better.

So Pioli still not fired and no player signed. Well, so grateful I'm on vacation, easier to forget all the bad things. It's obvious now Pioli won't get fired, no matter what, maybe only if we lose 10-0 (hopefully won't happen).
I want to see some drastic improvements in the derby.

Edit: wtf, Bennacer is injured? Fantastic news before the derby:fp:

Stay on the slopes next time Susan. You will enjoy life a lot more.

Sure, pioli doesn't play adli who spent a full year and a half learning Italian just to be enough of a scholar for pioliball

But he'll play a foreigner who doesn't speak a lick of the language

If we were a club with a solid functioning management team, the Bennacer injury would certainly lead to a solid midfield purchase on dead line day. I don't even have hope for such things any more. The suffering is real.

I would like to see a line up with Adli, Tonali and Vranckx in midfield. Invest in youngsters, play the youngsters.

Coop Bayless. You [are supposed] to love stats, like the QBR. Here's a stat:

Tata is in the bottom 10, worst keepers in all of the top five leagues. Do you know how bad you have to be... to be there?

Bottom 10. And those stats were before the latest debacle. Not including the Super Coppa.

He's terrible.

Samuel A.

Pioli, whom people are saying to give time to, makes this decision game after game, not me. Unless maldino ships Tata back to some Romanian club like they did to Pena in Moneyball, Pioli is sticking with him.

If he's this terrible and Pioli is sticking with him, he's either ignorant of this stat or that he thinks the alternatives will be much worse. Same with Maldini, if he isn't exerting enough pressure to Pioli to stop doing this if the solution is so painfully obviously like you've presented, then clearly he's not fit to run a serious organization which we strive to be.

You don't like zaniolo?

Wait? Me? Not like Zaniolo?

No! I love Zaniolo! Amazing talent. Italian. So... talented and... just... versatile, and, so much... um... potential!

face-off.gif

Maldini should totally bring Zaniolo here, to... play as our... *gag* right-winger.

[...]

I think everyone knows that the biggest issue is the lack of quality players in this squad, not the coach. I just hope Pioli does what he should have done a while ago, shore up the defense and be smart during attack.

I strongly disagree and I think the majority too. I'm not going to pull the "we won Scudetto" card again. But these players were first or second in the table for more than two years. Two years. Not two months or two weeks. Two years! That's way too much of a sample size to get dismantled by a couple of super bad weeks.

So yeah, I strongly disagree that now all of a sudden we find out that these guys in reality aren't even good enough to beat Lecce or Sassuolo at home. Or to get three goals from an Inter side that looses to Monza and struggles against Cremonese. I know that that's not what you're saying. But blaming these last few weeks mainly to the quality of the squad means being way too nice to Piolis fuck ups.

There were early signs this whole season that something was off compared to before. I blamed them mainly to injuries combined with fatigue because of the compressed schedule. Yet despite everything the squad still was good enough to claim the 2nd spot in the table and show some impressive displays throughout the year. I mean I was there in San Siro when we beat the shit out of Salzburg only days before the world cup. That team ran. That team fighted. That team had a solidity and self awareness we can only dream of right now.

For me the main culprit for our current situation is definitely Pioli. IMO he completely failed to read the moment of the team, especially after the Lecce game where we were 2:0 down but could have easily be 4:0 down at halftime and where we didn't manage to create shit once we equalized in the 2nd half. When he should have changed, he didn't and made things worse. Now we've reached a point where our solidity and mental strength is shattered. I'm not sure that tactical adjustment will fix it. I actually believe we're at a point where it's already too late, and that was completely avoidable if Pioli didn't take Inter, Lazio and Sassuolo to realize it.

And while typing all of that I haven't even begun to touch in his abysmal physical preparations with the team. No team on earth has the depth to sustain what we have to sustain year after year with Piolis butcher team. Not even Liverpool, Tottenham or Chelsea to name many star stacked teams with ten times our Mercato budget but yet brutally destroyed in the league when missing a couple of starters.

For the sake to not extend this to a biblical wall of text I'll stop here. Because yeah, Pioli surely isn't the only culprit. The management has his fair share. Then there are unexplainable individual fuckups and abysmal goalkeepers making things even worse. All agreed. But Pioli defenitly has contributed the most to this current nightmare.

Maybe Pioli is the manager in Moneyball and is going against what the manager tells him is the best lineup and formation? Also, does Moneyball have to be the blueprint for Milan still? We won the league.

All jokes aside, how is Pioli incompetent with basic tactics, but suddenly, when it comes to keeping Tata in and keeping Adli out, suddenly, Pioli goes from incompetent and "found out" to just "doing the objective right thing to do." I don't get it.

I think Maldini has earned the right to run Milan, even if this season turns out badly (God forbid).

I think at this point, if we still have no news from Osorio, I don't think there's enough time to get it done before tomorrow evening 8PM.

The fact that RnB primarily uses the deep cuts of Sopranos lines, just shows... how proud I am to be apart of this group.

Do you know how easy it would have been to put in a "varsity athlete" gif? But no where to be seen here.

Truly, reflects on the quality we have here.

Bennacer picking up a muscle injury while being suspended (hasn't played a game in 6 days) is totally normal.

I never said it's the objective right thing to do, "Paul" gets a say on this right?

"Paul" obviously isn't exerting enough pressure on Stefen to make these changes. These are changes that Stefen is CAPABLE of. Unlike setting up an offensive pattern so we can have other less predictable build up, my data is that we haven't been able to do this since he got here.

So if these changes are so painfully obvious, why is "Paul" not seeing it and forcing Stefen to make them.
