Yeah but being convinced by him in 1 season is crazy. You could’ve at least waited 1 more season before coming to that conclusion
No, he was great, but he forgot what made that team work and stopped trying to fix problems and started getting stubborn. Play Giroud every game because Giroud always bailed him out. Always play Brahim since he can unlock some moments, ignoring the imbalance in midfield. Insist on Saelemaekers or Messias, since they're ostensibly the only RWs in the squad. Insist on Tatarusanu when playing a defender in his place is probably better. Playing way too complicated patterns when we've completely lost it mentally, and not simplifying everything to go back to basics.

I didn't think the Pioli that was so innovative and creative and humble would suddenly have this huge ego where he can't admit things are going wrong and need to be changed.

I mean, he's still insisting on a psycho high press and high line with Tata in goal (who can't sweep) and Giroud up front (who can't press). Who does that?!

This isn't about transfers or the squad. He has a good enough squad to play much better than this.

He's repeated failed attempts, hoping to prove he was never wrong in the first place. This is so bad and so much worse than if it was transfer errors or injuries or whatever. He's not admitting there's a problem. I can't believe he's doing this.

Worst part is like @Master Smurf and @ROSSONERI7 said,

the worst is yet to come.

I don't see maldino giving up on Pioli just yet.

If we had tried Devis for a few games we would have had time to decide if we wanted him on the CL list over Tata. But nooooooooooo we had to stick to what we've been doing because of blind loyalty and a refusal to admit error.

I don't blame Tata for the loss. Blaming Tata means that he was the reason why we lost. He wasn't. We lost the game in midfield and because our press was weak and our attack was individualist.

No sensible supporter wants Pioli sacked now as that would further derail our downward spiraling season but you have to question the sanity of anyone wanting him to stay past this season. He’s past his expiration date at Milan. He hit his ceiling. There will be no repeat of the accomplishment last season that we got on the skin of our teeth and there certainly won’t be any improvement on it.

We are at year zero. Anyone who’s advocating the continuation of this torturous episode in our history is an enemy of our progress. Espresso pep and Travis Scott can recreate their magic at another club. This experiment has ran its course.

If the management keeps Pioli past this season, they will prove they have no ambition whatsoever.

We're not at year 0, that's ridiculous. We're still at the 4th year of the new era, we're running into some major problems, but they can be fixed in the training ground. Pioli just needs to wake the fuck up and stop being stubborn.

We should drop Messias, Leao and Brahim for the next match.
Replace them with CDK-Krunic-Salad.
