Stadium, go ahead alone! Lille slow down Botman and Sanches operations. De Ketelaere: only big ones yes

The news relaunched yesterday by Alessandro Jacobone of a summit in Como between the new owners of Milan, the mayor of Sesto San Giovanni and the representatives of the Populous studio has not found any denials. Indeed, quite the opposite. It is a clear sign of how Milan, with RedBird and Elliott, want to go on their way to their own stadium. A street that has caught the applause of the fans, who want an independent home from Inter and tired of the slowness of the Milan municipality.

Yes, because doing it in Sesto San Giovanni, in the former area of the Falck steel mills, would have shorter times as it is privately owned, which is not subject to all the bureaucracy (over 3000 amendments) that the stadium project in Milan is experiencing. Gerry Cardinale has viewed the area, which will also host the new health citadel and will already have all the ancillary costs implemented, which means less costs for the stadium project. Go ahead alone, the right way is this and RedBird knows it well. Straight then, with all due respect to the romantics of San Siro, destined to be abandoned for an entirely Rossoneri stadium with at least 70,000 seats.

In the meantime, Botman-Renato Sanches operations should get under way, but Lille is slowing down discussions. Rumors speak of internal problems at the French club, which is opposing the Rossoneri proposals for a few million, especially for Botman. Maldini and Massara want the Dutchman and hope, with yet another job on their sides, to have all the ok of the parties involved. Renato Sanches waits. He wants Milan and hopes that the situation will be unlocked soon.

All yes, all positive feedback. Charles De Ketelaere has the trappings of the player that Pioli is missing, more than many others. Bruges has opened for its sale, but it does not drop below 35 million for now. Noa Lang has been kept tonic, but the Dutchman has to talk less and let his agents and AC Milan work, who have also set their sights on him for some time. By June it is desirable that things unlock, in addition to Origi, because Pioli - who should have the national teams available from 11 July - would like to work with the defined squad as soon as possible.

So we're going from Super Saiyan (SS/San Siro) into Super Saiyan GOD (SSG/Sesto San Giovanni)

Sounds like Lang talked himself out of a Maldini deal.

If Botman, Sanches and CDK end up being the acquisitions I'm happy.

The fact that we’ve seemingly decided to ditch San Siro and Inter is huge. I think this might be a seminal moment in our history, as I don’t think Inter can catch up now. They couldn't rebuild San Siro with us on board, and I don't think they even have the appetite to do it alone. With a new ambitious owner they don't have any option but to rebuild San Siro, and as we've seen it's easier said than done. The revenue gap between us will just be too big for them to ever be able to compete with us. We’ll soon have higher revenues that even Juventus.

I’m not too worried about Botman/Renato. I’m used to Maldini never pulling the trigger until absolutely has to. Right now there’s no reason not to wait as long as he has the ok of all the parties. He’ll wait to see if any opportunities develop, for example the Kessie deal collapsing or who knows what. It doesn’t make a difference if we sign Botman /Renato now or right before the July 11 preseason.

With Maignan we were under time pressure from Roma and Donnarumma, and the Euros. We had to get his medical done before he went to play that tournament. This summer there’s no rush. We can all wait, the players are on vacation or playing national friendlies.

I’m not worried.

Who do you guys reckon the 4 club trained players will be?

I'm gonna go with

Pobega
Calabria
Primevera keeper
Gabbia

The biggest issues are Tata and Gabbia.

I like Tata but he is one of the few spots we can substitute with a club trained player and Mirante counts towards the Italian quota. Alternatively, let both Mirante and Tata go and sign someone like Gollini.

Its difficult to see how we also loan out Gabbia as he is one of the few experienced club trained players we have and its slim pickings tbh. It would be either him or Maldini and I would rather have the latter go out on loan as we would have more options in attack (if all the targets come through) than in CB. The other option is, both go out on loan and we promote a primevera CB.

And as much as Kojak hates it, I dont see how we loan out Pobega. We are already short on club trained players as it is.

As I said, he's better off going on loan. I dont see how he will get any gametime if the signings of Lang (for Rebic), CDK, Origi and Zaniolo come through.

Diaz
Adli
CDK
Lang/Rebic
Origi
Giroud
Zaniolo
Saelemakers

No way is he gonna play

yep just edited my post, maybe plizzari as 3rd gk. we sign mirante because both mm and pliz injured and no backup for tata. since plizzari is back maybe he stay for next season. he didn't even had regular playing time on loan this season.

just checked, mirante only have 1 season contract so he mostly out, so back to this season plan with plizzari as 2nd/3rd gk

What is this crap crest and shirt on our boy :fp:

Leave me alone. I'm still at the beginning and figuring out things :D . I usualy play only Seasons. After I saw the TOTS cards with so many Milan players I couldn't resist. I even spend 10 Dollars to open one Serie A pack and got this one out. Guess I'm very lucky but it's no TOTS card as I thought on first glance but I guess still okay if it's a POTM card :D.

I must say this Ultimate Team has some funny mechanics but it's a loooooot at the beginning, I'm all over the place and haven't even figured out yet how to change the kit of my club lol.
