Not really…the average height of a basketball player is 6’7 so this would only hold true for the heavyweight division where giants like Fury + Wilder operate. Also, apart from the latter, I can’t really think of any other boxers who took up the sport late as all the other top black boxers e.g. Spence, Crawford, Davis, Stevenson + Ennis have extensive amateur experience.

In other words, the pendulum has swung in the other direction and blacks are no longer THE dominant force in the sport anymore.
You are citing the boxers that have been groomed from birth. Most young black Americans aren't opting for boxing first the way much more would've in previous generations.

Also your height statistic only taking in heavyweights is not accurate as NFL has players of all statures that would fill out the lower weight divisions if they were not excelling in that sport.

This is not to say that blacks would dominate or are generally better etc - just adding why the level in boxing may have dropped. The Europeans (and others) who now box are technically much better and much more fluid than they ever were before too.

All these things contribute

Milan negotiating with Puma for their sponsorship renewal at 20M a year. They're also negotiating with Fly Emirates.

Ivan isnt that stupid to sign this. Is he?
Just go to nike, adidas.
We generate over 40M revenue for them plus doing basically free marketing. Revenue ll grow. Anything below 30M d be dismissed and tell them to fuck off. Sometimes we re too much simps.

Same with emirates. Just fk off.

But im afraid we ll sign both at around 20 plus bonuses.

Why would Juve sign Di Maria with Chiesa in that position? Perhaps his recovery is not progressing as well as expected? I get that they are adding a good player but this Bosman and high wages strategy has not worked well in the past. I believe Di Maria is set to earn 7-8 million.
Guy can play attacking right, attacking left, AM... a good squad player, those crazy feckers might even play Chiesa as right-back on sum occasions with ADM his partner on the flank.

The numbers quoted are what the maximum can be, so if they won the league, cup, the CL.

Real Madrid figures are also outdated.
So they can pay players this and next month? Phew! Forumers led me to believe different.

I saw that. 20m plus 2m in bonuses, to be honest, that seems too low, especially considering how much revenue we bring in to Puma.
In 2016, we were still a top 10 selling shirt in the world. That's deep banter era. Considering we get more special edition gear than City, and sell those items out fast, apparently even that Puma x Nemen 4th kit sold really well.

If I was Gazidis, I would be insulted by that offer. Adidas paid 23-25m in a deal that was signed like 10 years ago.
we barely cracked #10 back then with ~650k jerseys sold. last year we didn't even make the top 10. we were probably somewhere around 11-15 with teams like inter, arsenal, tottenham.
so 20mil seems pretty fair imo when considering dortmund gets 30mil from puma and they were on #8 with 1.22mil jerseys sold (more than psg and city)

we can't expect 40mil deals after literally being a dumpster fire for almost a decade. we're good for only two years now. let's get regular CL, win some titles and trust daPlan:proud: better sponsor deals should arrive then

True. It really fucked up Inter for a month or so. Not to mention the fact that it prevented them from running away with points gap and also gave us tiebreaker.

The stats from last year that were roundly shared, even put on statista, were actually found to be egregiously wrong, and were done by a South American Sports marketing company and were discredited.

I have not been able to find data that is reliable after that year in 2016, to be honest. There is a real possibility that we have fallen out of the top 10 since then, but again, finding reliable data is difficult. Regardless, Milan's value to Puma goes beyond shirt sales, as my post indicated.

Oh, and in 2016, we actually exceeded 11th place (Atletico) by 150,000 shirts. I don't know if that "barely" counts when you're beating someone by roughly 25%.

If we draw and Inter win, so we both finish even and we win Scudetto due to H2H...

Is Tata the reason we won? That penalty save in the first leg? He is an unsung hero.

Every single one of the lads has done something or other to contribute, no matter how big or small.
Things that have earned us points to allow us to get where we are today:

Mike Maignan31 games played, 16 Clean sheets and counting. Assist to Leao for Sampdoria win.
Ciprian Tatarusanu6 games played, 4 wins, 1 draw and one crucial Derby Penalty save against Merda at 1-0. Game ended 1-1.
Antonio MiranteSigned on when Mike was injured as backup to Tata, motivated Tata to perform.
Fikayo Tomori30 games, 15 Clean sheets and counting. Crucial interventions. Forced De Vrij OG for 1-1 in first Derby.
Alessio Romagnoli (C)22 games, 1 goal in Sassuolo loss, 7 Clean sheet performances. Got injured by Dzeko in Coppa Semis return match to pave the way for the Fikayo-Pierre partnership.
Simon Kjaer11 games, 3 clean sheets. Forced to babysit Romagnoli and Gabbia in defence when Tomori was out injured. Then got injured himself.
Matteo Gabbia8 games, 4 clean sheets. Played CB with Kalulu when all our CBs were out with injury in Jan. Memorably kept Roma quiet in 3-1 win, followed by Clean sheet performance (3-0) against Venezia 3 days later.
Davide Calabria32 games, 2 goals, 3 assists. Goals against Atalanta (won 2-3) and Bologna (won 2-4), assists to Giroud in Merda (1-2) and Napoli (0-1) wins.
Pierre Kalulu27 games, game winning goal against Empoli (1-0), assists against Spezia (won 1-2), and Genoa (won 0-2). 9 Clean sheets and counting, alongside Fikayo.
Alessandro Florenzi23 games, 2 goals (win v. Empoli (2-4), win v Hellas (1-3)) and generally great option off the bench to sub Calabria for.
Theo Hernández31 games, 5 goals, 6 assists. Goals against Venezia (both games), Empoli and Atalanta. Single-handedly won the first Venezia match (2-0) with a goal and an assist from off the bench (played 31 minutes).
Fodé Ballo-Touré10 games, 443 minutes played. Crucially played 90 minutes in first Hellas Verona match due to Theo being suspended/injured (we won 3-2) and Bologna match the week after (we won 4-2).
Franck Kessié30 games, 5 goals. Goals in wins against Hellas (3-2), Roma (2-1), Salernitana (2-0), and brace against Empoli (4-2).
Sandro Tonali35 games, 5 goals & 3 assists. Crucially, goal against Atalanta (3-2 win), last minute goal v Lazio (2-1), and brace in comeback win against Verona (3-1). Also assisted against Udinese (1-1), Merda (1-1), and Ladri (1-1).
Ismaël Bennacer30 games, 2 goals, 1 assist. Crucially, goal & assist vs Bologna (4-2 win), game winning goal vs Cagliari (1-0)
Tiemoué Bakayoko14 games, logged minutes during our injury crisis/ AFCON stretch and played the full 90 against Venezia (3-0 W) and Spezia (2-1 L)
Rade Krunic27 games, 1 assist against Torino win (1-0), and crucial tackle against Atalanta for Theo's Weah-Goal.
Brahim Díaz30 games, 3 goals & 3 assists. Scored our season opener vs Sampdoria (1-0 w), Venezia (2-0w), and popped up with a game winner against Spezia (2-1) after coming off the bench with 8 minutes to go. Disappeared after his bout with Covid, but still contributed with a couple of assists against Genoa (2-0) and Salernitana (3-0) after that.
Daniel Maldini8 games, 1 goal in Spezia win (2-1). Stats are deceptive as he only started 2 matches and played a total of 143 minutes in those 8 matches.
Alexis Saelemaekers35 games, 1 goal & 3 assists. Goal vs Salernitana (2-0). Assists againsst Spezia (2-1w), Venezia (2-0w) and Empoli (4-2w)
Junior Messias26 games, 5 goals & 2 assists. Crucial goal against Salernitana (2-2) to salvage a point from the jaws of defeat. Assisted in last two matches against Hellas AND Atalanta (Florenzi and Leao's goals).
Samu Castillejo5 games, 1 assists. Crucially came on as a sub against Hellas Verona, gave 1 assists and forced an own goal by Gunter. We won 3-2 and those 3 points were all down to him.
Rafael Leão33 games, 11 goals & 7 assists. Crucially goals vs Atalanta (3-2w), vs Sampdoria (1-0w), vs Udinese (1-1), vs Fiorentina (1-0). Assists vs Hellas (3-2 comeback w), vs Lazio (2-1w) and 2 assists to Sandro in comeback win vs Hellas Verona 2 weeks ago.
Ante Rebic24 games, 2 goals & 2 assists. Assisted both goals vs Lazio (2-0w) and followed up a week later with equalizing header vs Ladri (1-1). Also secured a point with banger of a goal vs Salernitana (2-2).
Zlatan Ibrahimovic22 games, 8 goals & 3 assists. Most notable G&A against Bologna (4-2w), G&A against Roma (2-1) Goal vs Udinese (1-1.... man I just noticed we drew Udinese twice this season). Assist to Tonali for winner vs Lazio 4 weeks ago.
Olivier Giroud28 games, 9 goals & 4 assists. Goal in 1st Hellas comeback win (3-2), Goal vs Torino (1-0w), G&A vs Roma (3-1w), Brace vs Merda (2-1w), winner vs Napoli (1-0w), equalizer vs Lazio (2-1w) all being notable contributions. Assist vs Salernitana (2-2) and against Cagliari (1-0w) helped us rescue points.

Be it 1 point or 3 points, everyone has been crucial to the cause.
Numbers and stats are all from Serie A only.

Very few clubs will ever be able to compete with Real and Barca when it comes to revenues and player pull. They have unmatched popularity in South America and most of the Hispanic world in general.

point still stands, even if the numbers are off or not reliable. expecting much bigger sponsor deals is just delusional. we're not there yet. you can't erase a 10 year irrelevance within two years
