I don't really know what is attractive about being in a club where you play 90% of the games in a non-competitive league. Boring af. :o

Anyway, fek him. I want CDK. :o

If they got Bremer then they are better with half that amount.
They fucked up paying for him but they just recoup their loss.
Bremer is a good deal for any club, but now that Ladri and Merda both want him, Cairo is probably licking his chops for a bidding war.

That and they got that Serie B CB who played for the Azzuri, Gatti.

Juventus fans seem to think they will bet on him as well next season.

In recent days there has been a lot of talk about Japhet Tanganga as a possible reinforcement for the Rossoneri rearguard. Maldini and Massara would be evaluating the possibility of asking Tottenham for the central on loan, also due to some physical problems they had in the last year.

These are the numbers of the English central in the last season: 19 appearances distributed between the Premier League, the League Cup, the FA Cup and the Conference League for a total of 1376 minutes played.

Just my guess but:

I can't think of any leverage we can bring to the negotiation table for Mendes to accept less than what he is asking. Our only leverage is if he hits a rough patch of form or injury, in which case, we will be in a better position to negotiate for renewal in the next summer (but we'd be betting that he recover from whatever issue he had). So that's not exactly all that great for us either. And at that point, a sale would definitely be off the table.

So I think if want to avoid losing him for free, we should probably extend and hope that we win the scudetto again and get further in the CL and look to sell next summer if a good offer comes along.

Expected .... what we want is Maldini selling players who are dragging.
Or renewing a potential Ballon d'Or winner. Leao deserves 7m.

This dude thinking same as me but pulling in the RW into the AM role instead of it being a 4123. I wasn’t watching too much of the training or focused too intently on the friendly matches, I just get from the potential squad that that there’s some evolution happening from the typical 4231 shape. We probably won’t fixate in one shape but will be much more flexible depending on the need.

He doesnt deserve more than Theo.
Theo made a statement of loyalty, he's a club legend already. We shouldn't stretch us further to retain Rafa?

I agree that Rafa is not better than Theo, one of the best players in the world.

Carlo van Grimberghe, former Under 15 coach of Club Brugge and Charles De Ketelaere, gave an interview to Gazzetta.it talking about the player very close to the move to Milan: "Blessed is he who takes him. A blow for the present and the future. He can play the playmaker, the mezzala, even the forward. And as a kid he played central defensive. Charles is tall, technical and has a great sense of the game, so he got along fairly well. Luckily he was moved forward "
