Galliani: Adebayor or nothing Thursday 19 June, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has revealed that the Rossoneri’s striking short list has been reduced to just one name – Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Rossoneri are in dire need of a big-name attacking addition to pair with Brazilian starlet Alexandre Pato.

A number of stars have been linked with the Diavolo, including Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, Mario Gomez, Andriy Shevchenko and Dimitar Berbatov, but only one man still seems to be a realistic possibility.

“There is only one course of negotiations in progress and that is for Adebayor,” Galliani explained.

“There are no talks for Drogba or even Eto’o. Milan are absolutely ruling out those possibilities – it’s Adebayor or we will stay as we are.

“The deal depends on Arsenal. The player is under contract and at the moment they are saying no.

“Anything could happen, but at the moment I have a letter from Arsenal saying that they aren’t ready to negotiate.

“Nonetheless, this is already a Milan squad capable of winning the Scudetto and we have already brought back a 19-goal striker in Marco Borriello.”

definitive problems with age.. he need's to go on pension, or he needs a doctor!

So thats the transfer compaign over then. Arsenal will not sell Adebayour.

How effing stupid can the management be? Last season we scraped 5th place and now we have signed Zambrotta, Flamini, a crap striker in Borriello and another unproven player in Antoini and were gonna challenge for the scudetto. Are we arse.

Lets just wave the white flag now. I've had enough.

Silvio sell the club to someone willing to invest and take that prat Galliani with you.

Oh how this mighty club has fallen.

He's probably talking out of his ass again. Hard to determine which side it is TBH.

Perhaps we will sign a kid ? And when he will start to play for us? In september? Maybe he is tthat 'great' striker that our managment are looking to bring.
Anyway,First signing a kid is not a Transfer.Second ,only that he impressed you it doesnt mean he is coming in MILAN and you should open this thread.Third How are you so sure he will get the opportunity to come in milan.I think you should wait until he impresses Milan Junior Camp managment.!!

Well in that case I hope that Paloschi remains for next season and actually gets more game time.

The latest news is "Adebayor or nothing". This is starting to scare me because Galliani is ringing last years bells by saying that "we are already fine since we signed a 19 goals pery year striker in Borriello" This sounds like Galliani last years when he said," Our squad is the best in the world and needs nothing new". What a ******, and as more time goes by, the more ******ed he gets. Please Ancellotti, pick out another good player for Galliani like you picked out Flamini.

I love your sig ! :D
Silvio can be happy we don't have the system like the one at Barcelona because he would never be elected again just because of that shitass Galliani who is really the dumbest person I will ever encounter

Mutu To Milan? Ridiculous - Braida
Milan director Ariedo Braida has described reports linking Adrian Mutu to the club as “Ridiculous”.

And yeah 2 bad we dont have a system like Barca` has :(

To continue the line of ******ed quotes from our "beloved" management :

La Viola are currently sweating over Adrian Mutu's future at the club as they still haven't managed to renew the player's current deal.

Reports in Italy claim that Mutu is demanding too high a wage packet which could see the Viola refuse to succumb to his demands and ultimately see him put up for sale.

Milan and Schalke have been linked with the hit-man. The Rossoneri are desperate for a striker but Braida insists is that Mutu is not the answer they are looking for to solve their striking conundrums.

“Lets forget about all these rumours, they are all ridiculous and there is nothing true about them,” Braida told Fiorenzaviola.it.

Milan are currently in the process of trying to lure Emanuel Adebayor from Arsenal but so far any progress seems to have stalled as the Gunners play hard ball over their Togolese striker.

Next baldie is gonna come and say that borrielo is better then Mutu...Idiots

I knew it and kept on saying it here even before it started and I was right, with the only exception of Flamini. It's not hard to predict what transfer campaign we would have with B&G in charge

Yes, it's a possibility. Galliani only wants to shift the blame to Arsenal later, when Arsenal rejects our offer.

If we don't get Adebayor, there are other strikers with good quality with same price. It makes no sense to say "Adebayor or nothing".
I want to know what Carlo thinks about this. Maurinho might be laughing at us right now, dang.

unless paloschi and pato can both score 20 goals apiece we wont get cl again, as i said yesterday and i will say it again galliani needs a bullet asap, even if we just buy an £8-10mil rated striker its better than nothing with just pato, paloschi, pippo and borriello we cant do anything.

why does he come out and say we will buy a big name striker if he never does its happened for the past 3 years im fucking sick of it fans who pay good money to watch the team week-in week -out are sick of it, something has gotta change we cant compete with the best anymore with two twats galliani and berlusconi running this football club.

FUCK OFF!!

I think it's Galliani who should be blamed. Berlusconi is PM now, so I think he could support Milan like before.
However, I believe, we would be better if Warren Buffett or Bill Gates would buy Milan.
Someone super rich, please buy Milan and take us out of this misery!!
