Gomez has youth too. He's not yet 23. I know its easy to get tantilized by youth as opposed to quality, but I think he will be quality.

And if we buy him we wont have to buy any strikers for 10 years to come. I watched him on few occasions and he has convinced me. He is also really strong and also fast for his height. He should come for max 20 mio EUR.

Its a good thing that we signed Borriello, but now we need our first striker such as: M. Gomez, Huntelaar, Drogba, or Berbatov. But I am a big fan of Mario gomez. He's young (just about 23) but not a teenager so he has some maturity. He's big and yet still fast for his height. And most importantly, he has a knack for the goal. But, I wouldn't be against any of the forementioned players being our first striker.

This co-ownership contracts are such an idiotic thing.
In this way we've just thrown out of the window 10 Mio. € + Di Genaro for Boriello who was ours a year ago. :head:
But instead of keeping this money to spend it on another striker who's able to find the back of the net, Galliani is talking about Barca and their request of 30 millions for Dinho, etc...
By the way Dida will stay in our stands for next season. :head:

Does anyone think theres a chance we'll sell borriello after fully aquiring him. He would probably sell in range of 12-15mil (like gila). I know Roma and Napoli are interested. I'd rather do this and aquire two strikers who do not had negative history with Milan

seriously, he looked great though. Haven't seen him much before that though. He's type of player who could catch some major steam if he makes euro squad and excels.... get excited for a bunch of these type of players being overpaid for in july/august

his name is actually familar now. I remember goal.com had an article saying 'new drogba' (gomis) prefers italy to england. We'll see if thats true when the money comes in. All i've seen of him is the recent france game.... and this youtube highlight real.....Goal peticularly at 1:20 is impressive

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQE6xm071f0

looks exactly like type of player we want, skilled upfront, strong. Anyone watch ligue 1? Can you tell us if hes this consistant, or is he not there yet....

OK, so it looks like we bought boriello, but the thing messing me here is, did we loan or sell Di Gennaro? About a year ago people said he got talent to become first grade player huh?
Loan is cool but selling is really stupid. In that case i really dont know how to react after we buy him in 2009 for 10m...

According to Wiki, Maggio is co-owned by Samp and Viola. It's more hard to get him since we have to discuss with both clubs over this transfer.

i wouldn't mind Maggio... he was definitely one of the more impressive ride sided players in Serie A this season...

You like him because in his name there's only one character difference from your fav player :) Btw I have a R. Baggio Milan jersey with the scudetto on it :) no signature though hehe.

this getting beyond pathetic we sold gila for £11mil but then we blow £8mil on that shit borriello who will be sold again next season after he fails yet again, lloris turned us down for lyon not that bothered but we doo need a keeper, maggio aint that bad but we need real quality, i can see sheva arrriving then the two striker will be borriello and sheva i cant fucking believe this its worse than last year, when will galliani leave hes a fucking joke, the laughing stock of italian football.....no wait make that world football
.
i cnat stop thinking about that crap borriello signing we could have had huntelaar for £17mil they talk about playesr being expensive then they throw away money just like that. sometimes i just wonder if our management all all there players are available yet they waste money like there is no tommorow.

FORZA MILAN!!! :conf:

It looks like Patrick Kluivert is looking for a new club....Couldn't you see him with Giallini holding a Milan jersey....

I know I am being a smart ass, but something like this would not surprise me.

I also do not think Borriello will work out...Just like Gila he scored a lot of goals with a crap team, but once you are with the big boys, nothing.

Also, I hope what I am reading about the GK's is wrong. We are keeping Dida, Kalak and getting Abbiati....so much for getting Frey or someone of class.

Looks like another 5th place season ahead. Get ready for the ride.

our goal keeping for next year is bad. I am hearing like others Dida, Abbiati and Kalac.

As for Boriello, we had him, he did not prove himself, so we sent him out. Then he does good on a small team, but I do not think he can cut it in Milan. Time will tell.

I don't know where the 10 million comes from for Boriello, he will be 7 million maximum.

sounds about right. He's a 7 million euro player. You pay for what you get.

I've heard of the 10 million Euro number somewhere else too.

It was 7mil + 50% of Di Gennaro

The reported figure is 10 million euros + the co-ownership of Di Gennaro. Personally 10 million is a tad higher although Genoa had every right to demand that large sum considering Borriello's prolific campaign last term.
