I seriously hope we sign at least another striker as well as a goal keeper and a much needed wing defender. Im not to sure if we will sign any1 though I hope we dont have a disasterous transfer campaign.

Viola are closing on Vargas. if this slips zhrough our hands I will be very dissapointed. And Viola will have a mighty team next year considering what they bought already.

Real Madrid seek to close deal for Catania's Vargas

Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic will seek to close a deal for Catania left-back Juan Vargas on Saturday.

DiarioSport says Mijatovic is due to hold talks with Vargas' agents on the weekend with a view to striking terms for the Peru international.

Catania want £12 million for Vargas and after seeing a move to Fiorentina collapse, Mijatovic has stepped in with plans to wrap up a deal in the coming days.

Various media outlets in Italy (Mediaset, Tuttomercatoweb, etc) are reporting that Milan are interested in Sampdoria's RB Christian Maggio. The only worrying part of the possible deal is that Samp are said to want co-ownership of Paloschi.

Yeah, cause that's really true. They're gonna play with Ibrahimovic, Suazo, Drogba, Eto'o, Crespo, Cruz and Ronaldinho up front next year

The Eto'o to Inter deal means that Ibra will go to the other side as a direct exchange.

Eto is a far better player than Ibra.

I just hope B&G pull there finger out soon, as i dont think our current squad will even get 4th place next season.

Please sign some quality players.

the thing is with this borriello deal why did we pay £8mil, we could have waited to june 25th when there is the blind auction then we could have put an offer of say £5mil the max i would go if we won we get borriello for £5mil i still dont want him but its £3mil less, if genoa won the blind auction then we recieve more than £5mil they would have had to bid higher than £5mil to win so we recieve whatever their offer was.

£11mil- gila
£7mil- oli
£5.5mil- borriello.

at least £23mil so we can have a real top-quality striker but no gallaini has other ideas and doesn't use his brain yet again.

i want this guy to be in charge.

Ronaldinho Waste Of Money – Berlusconi Jr
The son of Milan backer Silvio Berlusconi has declared that if the club were to sign Barcelona’s Ronaldinho it would be a “waste of money”.
Milan have been heavily linked with signing the former European and World Footballer of the Year, who is almost certain to leave Barcelona following a desperately miserable season both on-and-off the pitch.

The Rossoneri are believed to have tried to negotiate a deal with the Blaugrana, only to have been put off so far by the Spanish giants' astronomical asking price.

Many experts believe that Ronaldinho's best days are behind him, and that it would be a bad decision for Milan to sign him. One person who agrees with this viewpoint is the son of former Milan President Silvio Berlusconi.

"Beyond the waste of money, it does not make sense," stated Berlusconi Jr.

"I think it is necessary to focus more on young players than on very big players whose prices are crazy.

"Today the team is not that bad, but we must think about the future taking into account the average age of the squad."
Milan have identified the signing of a world class centre forward as their primary objective in this summer's transfer market.

According to most places Boriello is 7 million + Di Gennaro on a co-owner ship deal. The young lad hardly got a game at Bologna in Serie B from the start of matches so is obviously nowhere near top standard at the moment.

Boriello is a good sign, but the matter remains if milan will let him play.
A player cant develop if he isnt alowed to play any matches...

we need to hurry up and make some deals. Amauri is in Juve next year, and it looks like Inter are swapping Ibra for Etoo. I remember seeing a list that Ancellotti said we need one of the following strikers, Adebeyour, Drogba, or Etoo or Amauri. With the last two seemingly out of reach I am getting worried. Plus we need to reinforce our bakcline. I don't really like oddo or bonera being Milan's first choice right back.

I love sheva obviously for what he did. I personally do not really want him back. he is a shadow of himself.

Also this news from goal.com of Vargas signing for fiorentina on Monday makes me sick.

EXCLUSIVE TMW - Briaschi: "For Maggio no Milan. Inter? We will See"
30.05.2008 13.43 by Redazione TMW read 308
Source: Raffaella Bon

The agent of Christian Maggio (26), Massimo Briaschi, speaks in exclusive to TMW about his client situation.

All speak about Milan interest for Maggio, with Paloschi that should transfer to Sampdoria,is True? "I've met yesterday with Braida and the player, even if he is good, he doesn't interest to Rossoneri".

So there are only Inter "Eh, we hope, we will let see. Societies have not still spoken, even if I can't speak with Morotta, so I don't have news".

However Maggio feel good in Sampdoria, could be his future? "Yes, Christian feel good, there isn't any problem. Is normal that we will met with society, in order to clarify some things, but he stay really well in Sampdoria".

But if should arrive an important offer, the player would go away? "Yes, of course".

No to Fiorentina..."No, the player, despite he is in co- ownership, will never come back to Florence".

i know this is probably bs but read if u want, hehe

Ancelotti To Chelsea, Lippi To Milan?

According to Leggo, Carlo Ancelotti could take over as the new manager of Chelsea, with Marcello Lippi replacing him at Milan.

The Italian and English press has gone into overdrive in the past week following the dismissals of Avram Grant and Roberto Mancini at Chelsea and Inter respectively.

While Jose Mourinho is nailed on to take over the reigns at the Italian champions, a whole host of names, including Guus Hiddink, Sven Goran Eriksson, Lippi, Mancini, and Ancelotti have been linked with the Chelsea job.

According to today’s edition of Leggo, Ancelotti could leave AC Milan in order to take over at Stamford Bridge. The Rossoneri tactician was spotted with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in Geneva earlier this week, and while he claims that he was only there on holiday rather than to talk about a potential move to West London, it seems there may have indeed been more behind the rendezvous.

Milan have prepared for the possible exit of Ancelotti by lining up legendary coach Marcello Lippi as his replacement.

The 60-year-old has been out of work since leading Italy to World Cup glory in 2006, but he would relish the chance to work with the San Siro giants.

didnt see italy-belgium game..... but this paragraphy from summar tells me ALL i need to know

"Zambrotta had been unstoppable in the second half down the right, and he bombarded past his man again, and squared the ball to Borriello inside the six yard box, but with an open goal in front of him the Genoa hitman somehow turned the ball wide. It was a quite astonishing miss, which had to be seen to be believed."

It really had to be seen to be believed. Even a one-legged dog wouldve scored it.
