Galliani also spoke about Ronaldinho: “Right now we have four attackers: Inzaghi, Borriello, Pato and Paloschi, and two attacking midfielders, Kaka and Seedorf; it’s almost certain that we shall sign a striker with the characteristics of the first four, also to please Carlo Ancelotti, with whom we agree perfectly. He would like Eto’o, and we told him that we shall sign Eto’o if the amount of the operation will be compatible with our balances.”

i really dont understand Galliani. One day he considers Seedorf like a striker, and now like atm.. :head:

Given we'll have only Pato, Pippo, Borriello and, if not loaned, Paloschi, I can see Seedorf filling the hole there as our management is too cheap to get us the quality striker.

Or we can get Vieri :D

I'm guessing well snatch Etó scince Inter will be getting Drogba. Mourinho will certainly request Drogba (and Terry ore Lampard) in Inter, and the Inter Management has freed lots of cash for the portoguise to use.

I think our next purchase will be Ronaldinho ore Etó. Dinho due to the massively Brazilian urge of Milan, and/ore Eto´if the price is right.

He probably meant offensive players.

well, to me mourinho to inter is like a slap on the face for baldhead1&baldhead2, is not like i want him here, but it's just plain to see how inter's working on their team so much for next season and we're here just sitting around and recruiting another getting old player like zambrotta, not that i rate him low, but where's that rejuvenation they promised us? boriello? he was one of us back then & am not sure that he'll fit into ancelotti's formation, am not even sure that ancelotti will trust him...the only transfer success for us so far is flamini IMO...i really don't wanna hear rumors like sheva coming back and remarks that baldhead2 about wanting sheva to rejoin the squad...i guess i'll just have to wait until the transfer window is really closed, if we didn't make any good signings, then i'm gonna shot those baldheads

Uh please champ, let it go. We have made fundamental steps with our recruitment for next season in general, let alone Intermerda's. People here are never satisfied.

We should never say someone is to expensive for us. We are the best club there is and our owner has bilions of euros to spend so we should be able to compete with all teams in terms of transfer market. But the problem is Moratti, Abramovich, etc etc etc are willing to invest in their squad to make it even stronger while our owner seems to have forgotten who Milan is and what it Milan means to the world. Therefore either he gives some milions out of his wallet or he should sell the club to someone who definately will. I believe there are tons of investors who would love to be Milan owners and would love to invest in the team and make it great once again!

Inter will buy players like Deco, Quaresma (done), Eto'o and Carvalho. With Mourinho who is 3 ties better then MAncini Inter will be 35% stronger then last year.

Meanwhile, Berlusconi doesnt want to invest proper money in Milan are people have been lied to, again! dont think that Boriello can play well in Milan as our coach is pure disaster and cant make most out of players that are not world class. You know why Berlusconi didnt hire Mourinhjo? Becouse he would ask for 4,5 players, and this way Milan can only spend 20 mln on 3 players and basta. Shamefull.

How old are some of you people? FFS.
Why do you think we signed 3 quality players in the space of a couple of weeks?... Der... cause we need to reinforce. Or wont you be satisfied until we sign Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Drogba + 50 other 21 yo's, which you have never heard of or seen play before, in a space of 4 days?

HTFU and be logical.

well dude we have had the same optimism over the past 2 years. our management has to really wake up n do something. getting zambo was a good move the thing is, freakin baldie is gona be so over the moon with this one signing n rest till the end of the break. at the end he will wake up, realize we havent actually done anything n make a panic buy, same story each time. :head:

Fair enough about the past couple of seasons but Milan have made their intentions quite clear this season and have both sold and bought without any hesitation. They have done extremely well this season especially to lure quality players like Zambrotta and Flamini considering Milan will have to play in the UEFA Cup next season, also Milan have cashed in on Gilardino and Oliveira which have provided us with good funds to spend on players. So to suggest our current dealings in the market are inadequate doesn't seem logical to me.

Put your pom poms down and get off your high horse, if people want to see change then let them express it. I rather read that than having you lub up for anything B&G are about to give you.

At the moment all there has been is talk of the big transfers needed, and given that is as far as it got last summer its plain to see why people are more critical of Galliani's intentions this time around.

Flamini and Zambrotta aren't big signings?

Perhaps we should settle for a player like Lloris :o

Nobody said they weren't good signings, they are however at the end of the day a free and an old player - nothing new there. Furthermore I don't see them solving Milan's great difficulty in creating gols. So when it comes down to it its just the same as before, lots of talk from Galliani about all the great forwards he is going to bring, yet nothing ever comes from it - and people realise that now and don't believe a word of it, do you blame them?

I think we should be at least a bit satisfied with the transfer market we got until now. We're still one month away from the transfer window to open, and we got 3 players with all of them being great in some parts.
You should know that players won't change clubs 'till they finish the Euro 2008. And, we play in Uefa Cup which means it's not that easy to sign players which we want them to come.
I'm happy we got Flamini and Zambrotta, but still doubt Borriello to do great things for us, and I hope he'll prove me wrong.

Save your bashings for later, respectively after 31, August.

Read from Goal.com that Cigarini might move to Villareal , Amelia to A.Madrid ......it would be another Barzagli-Zaccardo scenario , two good Italian players end up somewhere abroad while they could have been playing for Serie A's big clubs. Milan should go for Cigar and Amelia. :D

Dude, the market closes at the back end of August and people are critizising the signings made by the management at present. For once in a while, Milan are making smart investments, at a vast rate, and shipping off players who have failed to live up to the hype and earning over 20 millions euros as a result. Along with this have signed 3 quality players in defense, midfield and forwards. Time will tell whether we sign a big name striker, but with the CURRENT dealings we have made I don't understand how people cannot be content with the progress we have been making.

The issue is not wether the signings made are good - I agree they are for once rather smart, (though having to pay for a player that came through our youth system is ridiculous). However its got to the point where Galliani clearly has run out of ideas and resorts to chatting and name dropping big names every second day. So what you, I, hell even Gattuso want is for this to be a starting point, yet all the indications are that Galliani is content with the moves made and is happy to start spooning off shit like Seedorf being a striker etc. I've seen it happen for 2 summers in a row, so when people say 5th will happen again, I have to agree unless Galliani actualy signs the players instead of talks about them.

The thing is mate, Galliani is running out of excuses and he can't afford to continue to make promises he can't keep. As I said time will tell what happens in regards to signing a big name striker, but for the moment I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because for once we have moved quickly to secure some big names and sold others who failed to live up to the hype.

Drogba Talks Have Begun - Galliani
In arguably his most frank admission yet, Milan chief Adriano Galliani has revealed that transfer talks for Chelsea star Didier Drogba have begun...
»Comments (23) Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom The Blues hit-man has been looking to leave the club since the departure of former coach and great mentor Jose Mourinho early on in the season.

Having been linked with all of European football's major heavyweights, many suspected the Cote d'Ivoire star's new club would be the same as Jose's, but with the Portuguese now bound for Internazionale, the favourites to sign Drogba are their city rivals Milan.

Milan have not been afraid of emphasising their need for a striker or two this summer, with Amauri - now officially of Juventus - being linked, along with the less likely Luca Toni, former club legend Andriy Shevchenko (who is now also of Chelsea, much against his own will it would seem), as well as Samuel Eto'o, Emmanuel Adebayor, Mario Gomez, Karim Benzema and of course Drogba, among others.

It seems as if the former Marseille man is their number one target, with Galliani revealing today that negotiations have now begun.

"[Milan coach] Carlo Ancelotti wants Drogba. He does," revealed Galliani. "I do not see anything wrong in a transfer, talks have already begun
