Milan On Standby To Pounce For Crespo

Milan are looking to take on Hernan Crespo if their moves for Emanuel Adebayor and Didier Drogba fail according to reports in Italy.


The Argentina international is still owned by Chelsea but he has been on-loan with Inter since 2006.

His deal with the Nerazzurri expires this summer and he may move to city rivals Milan on a permanent deal as it is unlikely that he will return to Chelsea just to warm up the bench.

Crespo played for Milan during the 2004/05 season and he played a big part in the 2005 Champions league final.

According to Stadio News 24, the striker could be snapped up by Adriano Galliani who is desperate for a striker.

Milan are currently involved in talks for Adebayor and Drogba but if neither of those players arrive then Galliani will pull out the Crespo card.

Reports in Italy claim that Crespo has already given his ok to such a move and he would be willing to move back to Milanello.

The Rossoneri are looking for a striker to replace Alberto Gilardino who moved to Fiorentina.

Carlo Ancelotti is a big admirer of Crespo and the coach always played him when he was at he club three years ago.

Quaresma is a wing player.Imo he wouldnt fit in the current team tactics.So if we would taken him we should have changed the philiophy of our game,which should have been started from changin the manager and changing direction of tranfer policy !!

Anyway that was then.....now Inter HAVE CLASS PLAYERS...especially if they get Quaresma.....Jose Mourinho is also a fan of Quaresma....I know sometimes he tends to be a bit too flashy but with the proper coaching (red Mourinho) he could be as good as or better than CR7.......Of course a player like this could never fit into our tactics/ philosophy / anti-metrosexual movement (led by Gattuso ) So he has no place here

Seriousely, I would be really hjappy if we sign Adebayor. We need to have in mind that he only turned 24 and that he is a player of fantastic phisical caracteris+tics that can completely dominate on long balls, like toni and Drogba do. But is an investment for the future also. We need to stop behaving like a poor club and just pay sometimes.

Ancelotti asked for Boruc and Zapata but they said to him he'll get Abbiatti and Ferriari - that is really not a nice thing to hear. Boruc is a superb keeper that has also got a real grit and sport spirit, he rules the defence.

Milan needs to use Kaladze more ass a LB and Zambro as an attacking RB, with zapata-Nesta in the middle. And now when YOan is gone, one more creative midfielder is needed.
