My favorite part was when he said that he'd "written" Arsenal about Adebayor. Yo, Galliani, ever heard of the telephone?

Its a legal thing, when you are making a formal approach it must be in writting - usually fax, even email, its so the other party has proof of your intentions.

I think Galliani and Braida have to go. I see all these players that we target going to other clubs that are a) smaller than us b) less successfull than us, and c) don't have a Chairman who is Italy's richest man.

Their transfer strategy is making AC Milan look like a poor club that scavage around for Free transfers or players under the 10m bracket. Well guess what, you want a Ferarri Enzo, you pay Ferarri Enzo money or look for the next Ferarri Enzo so to speak.

Well we lost Maggio but atleast were trying to get a right back. But i dont want Sagnol @ Milan beacause he is too old.And according to Goal.com were trying to get him.

French full-back Sagnol had a miserable past season with Bayern, where he lost his first team place and fell out with coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, publicly blasting him in the press on a number of occasions.

Despite the fact that Hitzfeld has now left to be replaced by Jurgen Klinsmann, the 31-year-old’s future with the Bavarian giants is still very uncertain, and it is widely believed that they are keen to offload him.

La Repubblica says that Bayern have offered Sagnol to Milan in a straight swap for another right back Massimo Oddo. The World Cup winner also had a disappointing season, disrupted by bouts of injuries and poor form, which resulted in him missing out on a place in Italy's Euro 2008 squad.

Milan are said to be now considering the offer, however they are also reportedly weighing up a bid for Sampdoria wing back Christian Maggio, and so this could have a big bearing on whether the Sagnol-Oddo deal goes through.

this is the begining we are going to rule the transfer market :conf:

We Can't Afford Boruc - Ancelotti
Italian giants Milan cannot afford £10 million for Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc, according to their coach Carlo Ancelotti...
»Comments Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom The Rossoneri - also in the hunt for a striker such as Samuel Eto'o, Emmanuel Adebayor or Didier Drogba - report that they do not have the money to swoop for Celtic stopper Boruc, despite Ancelotti even admitting he wanted the keeper a year ago.

“I wanted to bring Boruc to Milan about a year ago, but now the price is too high,” Ancelotti told the Daily Mail. “Milan cannot afford Boruc. We made some efforts but it did not happen and now I have three goalkeepers in any case.”

It is suspected that a certain amount of money is being put aside for a striker - who will be the priority signing - and only leftovers will be available to purchase a goalkeeper, should Ancelotti look to briing in more quality to back up his highly criticised current crop of keepers.

Milan's general manager, Ariedo Braida, has hinted that Boruc is still a possibility. “Boruc is a wonderful goalkeeper, he has been incredible for the past couple of years. We are going to lose Dida, possibly Zeljko Kalac, so we need to bring in a new one.

“Boruc has a big price tag, £10 million is a lot of money, but I cannot exclude anything.”

What can be read into these contradictory statements remains to be seen, particularly as speculative rumours from Sky Sport Italia this morning alleged that Emmanuel Adebayor has agreed to sign for the club.

Like you care?
This is seriously f*cked up. Granted, I'm not so sure if Boruc would have been the keeper we need, but if 10 mil is too much to Milan, they should really consider checking into a retirement home. Prices like these are common in modern football for players way crappier than ie. Boruc.

The summer has just started, and it's already ending for us.

Everyone here needs to take a serious chill pill :o
so what if we lost Maggio? he wasn't milan material anyway. We have a proven CL winner in Oddo. Players like Quaresma Alves, Marcelo, Vargas, Evra and Maggio are too young, overrated and untested for a championship team like Milan where immediate results are the order of the day. Not to mention they are far too expensive for our soup kitchen budget. I'm sure we'll all be soon pleasantly surprised to see either Sangol, Gary Neville or Grimi recalled and converted to RB :proud:

Aye, with all the complexity of instructions such as, "Boys, just dinna get in Erli's way," and, "Erli, make sure you never pass to any of these futureless shithouses".

Actually I should stop posting; there's absolutely no reason to keep this thread alive.

CHELSEA, Didier Drogba sale could trigger £100m-worth of transfers
11.06.2008 14.50 by Redazione TMW read 48
Source: The Mirror
Didier Drogba holds the key to a £100m striker merry-goround.

The Chelsea forward is top of AC Milan's wanted list and the Italian giants are hopeful of completing a £18m deal.

The Blues will resist Milan's £18m bid for Drogba, holding out for nearer the £31m they paid to land Andriy Shevchenko from the San Siro side two years ago.

But with Milan also keen on bringing the Ukrainian striker back to Serie A, Chelsea will be willing to let both go - if they get Brazilian schemer Kaka in exchange.

Drogba's uncertain future has also put the brakes on moves involving Dimitar Berbatov, Karim Benzema, Samuel Eto'o and David Villa. Drogba, 30, is also wanted by Inter's former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho (below) and the Ivory Coast forward would love to hook up with his ex-manager again.

But AC Milan have also got Eto'o, Berbatov and Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor on their hit-list. However, AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti's preferred choice is Drogba and the Italians will wait on the Chelsea man until making moves for other strikers.

That has left Eto'o, Drogba, Benzema, Villa and Berbatov waiting for the green light on a £100m merry-go-round.

Berbatov, still likely to leave Tottenham this summer in a £30m deal, fancies a move to Real Madrid.

But yesterday France striker Benzema, 20, who could leave Lyon for £30m, indicated that he would prefer a move to Real Madrid rather than Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson also likes Ajax's Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar who is valued at 315m. Should Berbatov go, Spurs will target Villa or Real Zaragoza forwards Diego Milito and Sergio Garcia.

Spurs have also looked at Barcelona's out-of-favour Eto'o but AC Milan will move for him if they fail to land Drogba, with Adebayor another option.

he signed w/ bayern munich for 18-20 mil in january. I'm ok with losing maggio. We need a LB more than a RB. He did have a good year, but we can do better.

BTW if juve and inter r really making plays at aquilani we better jump in. Right now I am pro selling gattuso and getting aquilani. Love rino but we dont need 3 DMs. Besides if we got aquilani (i'm not even gonna start on iniesta or moutinho who i'd prefer... but you all get type of player i want) our central midfield would look like this

seedorf/aquilani--pirlo--flamini/ambro

(obviously aquilani and ambro could rotate into pirlo position).... my basic point is, we need a mf who can get dirty on defense but is more offensive minded next to pirlo to open space for him

ah tahts right, i remember now bout breno.
i read on transfermarketweb.com 5 mins ago that roma said aquilani aint for sale. i think iniesta is awesome but there aint no way barca are gonna sell him. but you gotta remember rino is a figurehead at milan and is a leader, with maldini soon to be on his way out we need leaders.

i just think we dont need to play w/ 2 dms period. It hurts kaka and pirlo. Makes us BORING and uneffective. I know we wont get iniesta or aquilani. i was just incinuating type of player I want to se in our midfield (read: a 4-6 years younger seedorf)

How about we get rid of Ambro, instead of our heart? Even Pirlo has been underperforming for god knows how much time, why not sell him and get a creative playmaker?
