Poor performance today. I think we were still suffering from shock after the Arsenal game. However, good play in parts of the game and we did get all three points. Juve dropping more points too, four points clear now. Things are looking good now especially considering we have many players coming back from injuries, some key players for us too.

Plus what people are saying, Napoli can be contenders next year, they only need to stop dropping silly points against teams they should be beating, at their home ground too. The same as Juventus I suppose. Milan should be careful next season. Juventus and Napoli will probably be stronger than this year.

No other squad has the depth to compete for the title. Napoli only make 95M/year (compared to our 230-250M), so they can't carry too many big players or wages.

Juve are close, but they lack star players, especially forwards.

People are saying juve n napoli will be stronger next year, well ok but what about us, we will be reinforcing this summer as well besides many players are likely to leave, mostly deadwood i hope. We already got monty i think, keita maybe and if an lcm like asamoah arrives then i see no reason why we cant win scudetto next year. When kaka played off a consistent forward, we had no problems.


Ibra breaks down little teams like a pro.... i'm still waiting to see ibra play under a team who actually pressures him. Something Kaka never struggled with... But that's the difference in styles. Ibra relishes a team who sits back to give him room to operate and beat them up. Kaka relished teams pressuring him so he could use his technique and change of pace. Anyone who watches serie A regularly knows which style matters here..

No guys what i meant was kaka could not win us back to back serie a titles which ibra is on the verge of achieving this season. Kaka is forever legend, no doubt besides in his prime even messi is leagues behind him. But he just couldnt replicate the same form in serie a during 04 and 09 period, the scandal obviosuly damaged our title credentials for two - 3 years, but still we badly underperformed in that period. We couldnt manage to finish 3rd consistently and were behind inter, juve and even roma. Ofcourse ucl is more important and much harder to win, but with our current team its hard to expect us go past semis in ucl especially with our ever present injury crisis. So until we get proper reinforcements, we should focus more on serie a and with the funds recieved for winning it, we could buy even better players and compete with barca madrid etc. I wasnt comparing ibra with kaka, we all know kaka was better besides he was the worlds best player in his prime, a feat ibra is yet to achieve, neverthless ibra is a legend of serie a and he is possibly going to guide us to yet another scudetto, maybe one more next year, something kaka couldnt deliver bar the 03 title when we sheva was present.

you're right, he's been everything to us in probably 95% of the games this season.... however at the end of the day, the most prestigious trophy will always be the CL... last year Ibra was unable to inspire us in any of the games in the CL, and this year he had a great first leg versus Arsenal and pretty average one in the second.

I'm grateful for he's doing and I still support him, but I see why people criticize him. When we won in 2007 the CL, Kaka only played greatly in the CL, and it wasn't even in all the games - in Serie A he was very bad in most games - but those few performances in the CL won him that Ballon d'Or.

I'm hoping Ibra performs morelike he did in the first leg versus Arsenal in the quarterfinals. It is his best season ever, and it would be a shame that even in his best season ever, he is unable to perform in the CL under pressure.
