The Lapa Bacca 1-2s shouldve been a goal.

Fair score is 8-0, Antonellis chance, Bacca's two 1vs1, and Pasalic's chance.

Yeah the score could have easily been a lot higher

And Palermo were lucky to only have one man sent off too, the ref was lenient

So 7 matches to go of which we won 4 last time around.. 13-14 points should seal the Europa League spot. Inter, Atalanta wins should assure it.

What a lovely game to watch Why can't every weekend be so lovely. Totally deserved and could have even be a higher score

BTW for the first time I understand why Montella thinks so highly of Pasalic. He's been very dynamic, active, involved... everything he normally isn't. Shame he'll miss the game agaibst Inter, we beed his physicality against Inters massive midfield!

pasalic covered the most ground of anyone on the pitch and had the highest average velocity of any player on the pitch. it's not obvious like gattuso, because he's quite elegant and gracefull, but he's physically everywhere. brilliant game from him

shout out to calabria and de sciglio who were absolutely brilliant today. their high positioning was the reason we pinned them back. they were involved in the goals too. easily des' best ever season, he's looking super comfortable with the armband.

DES wasn't positioned high at all. He actually played on the same line as zapata and romagnoli in a 3 man defensive line for most of the game. That allowed Calabria to play very high up and overlap Suso, and the two of them combined well. I like that balance a lot.

I didn't see much from him besides the goal and couple of chances. Reminds me so much of Nocerino. A lot of hustle, a goal here and there, and not much else. Solid game, not brilliant tbh

Hm strange, I noticed him a lot, he was very involved in the game, covered lots of ground as Albertini said, won many balls and created some stuff too. Him and Kucka (who finally had a good game too) contributed very much in controlling this game in midfield. It's veen the first time I noticed Pasalic positively this often in one game.

Pasalic has been a good signing, imo.

Rarely has a poor game. If his finishing/decisions improved, he could get 10+ goals.

im not a fan of pasalic but i think he had a great game, possibly his best.

people need to put this loan into perspective. no he's not WC but I think he's on course to have a better season than van ginkel, aquilani, mati fernandes. decent loan imo

Yup, they'll probably try to make his deal permanent. He's the type of a player that will do anything the coach wants, and Montella clearly appreciates that.

Such a shame we didn't bang a few more in today. This game could have easily finished with us scoring 7 or 8.

On a more serious note, Milan have six games left to play, three at home and three away. From a pessimistic point of view, 0 point versus Inter and Roma. There is no excuse for not securing three points from Empoli, Crotone (17th and 18th places) and Cagliari, Bologna (14th and 15th). There is no "you know it is the final phase of the season and everybody is out looking for points so they play better and harder than usual". Whatever their best is we will top it. Then, with 69-72 points at season's end Milan will be going to the Europa League. Next year will be year one.

7 games left, we also have to play Atalanta in Bergamo
