Who is the one to replace Sheva?

Right now I would chose Torres, but thats just because I have seen him more than I saw Tevez.
Im still not sure will Tevez be the same player when he comes to Europe.

Most people and media following spanish football has agreed that Torres has had a bad season so 13 goals for a team that creates a lot less chances than Valencia and Barca isn´t really that bad, generaly speaking. I don´t think he´s over-rated, he just needs a new challenge and a bit more pressure to perform than in a club where he´s been No. 1 since he was 17.

Teves could be a bit over-hyped but from how he performed in the U21 World Cup (becoming player of the tournement and top scorer from a midfield position) I would certainly like to think he has a giant potential under the right circumstances.

Yeah we need to sign young players. I have already said on here that Milan should be in the market for players like Kerlon, Mascherano, Gago, Merida, Anderson, Menez and so on but we never are. Fair enough a club like Milan can try and sign such players once they have become global superstars but then it costs much more and is harder to get them.

I think Tevez could be tempted to come to the San Siro and we can build the attack round him and Kaka who I think could link up well. If we signed Mascherano at the same time it would help Tevez acclimatise and would solve the DM position at the same time and allow Pirlo more freedom.

I would aim to bring in: Tevez, Mascherano, Gallas, Sneijder plus one more full back.

Valenci and Barca have better play makers and Torres is younger thn them. Lets see how he does in the world cup before giving a final verdict on him

Damn, we could have had Henry. Why didn't he tell us earlier! Right now I'd pick Toni, if he's available. Ronaldinho if we can convince him and bank alot on Sheva. The bright side of it is that we can rebuild with the money ... and we should get as much as we can. Be stingy fellas!

People Tevez might be a risk but Argentinian players usually adapt to Serie A pretty well whereas Spanish players less so. People might not have seen a lot of Tevez but I am convinced he would do well in Italy. However a key thing is to sign someone before the world cup. If we wait too long I am sure Tevez will have a good world cup and then the price will got through the roof.

Torres: over-rated and not good enough.

Right now i'm hoping Juve get relegated so we can get Ibra..we should go for Tevez but there has been nothing what so ever on him being linked with Milan so that won't happen..Adriano has decided he's staying put at Inter so theres about a 5%chance of him leaving
Worst case scenario=Carlo thinks Gila can replace him in the Sheva role and therefore goes for no other Strikers..Although that could payoff, the gamble's way too big to even think of doing at this level

At least if Adriano came we'd win the first game(he scores at least 2 at the start of every season in the first game)

We could get two young strikers and build our attack. It may take a couple of seasons (by then Pippo would have retired) but it should pay off in the long run.

However, considering the ages of other players in the squad, we should be rebuilding in other areas. So, I would think atleast one world class striker should come in. I mean, should the unfortunate incident of Pippo getting injured occur, Amorroso(sp) would be starting! Also, we desperately need a cover for Kaka now that Rui's gone. So, one striker and one attacking midfeilder is what I think. And sell Amorroso for a young striker damnit!

I completely agree with you.

The only player who could replace Sheva would be Henry and since that is not happening, Milan need to sign someone young who can grow into a Sheva like player. I think the best player to do that would be Tevez. Him, Inzaghi and Gila would form a great striking trio.

I also like all of those other players. Oddo would fit perfectly at RB, Gallas could team with Nesta as the other CB and Sneijder could team with Kaka as another OMF.
