For me, he's a substitute. Hernanes, Boateng, Aquilani, Van Bommel is a midfield I'd be proud of.

Having said that, he's a great Super Sub midfielder who gives tons of energy and can shoot (he has 8 Goals in Serie A).

He was not Anywhere NEAR as bad as Urby. Urby's first touch had the ball 10 feet from him half the time, he passed to the wrong team, he got pushed off the ball, he skyed his FK's, he was awful awful awful. Nocerino was not...

I agree the idea for him to be super sub, IF we have better player. but currently, its not.

the way some forumer bash Nocerino as if he was fucked up last night, amazed me.

I won't say we should replace him and all that crap but i don't think he should play all the games like he's doing, substituting him in some matches might clear his head and make him work harder to improve.

I'd like us to play with MvB, KPB, Aqua and Urby/Clarence as the 4 midfielders.

He is not starting eleven material. He's okay, but definatley not starting material. His defensive liability is a big problem against bigger teams. He should be used as sub player next season
