u have got to be kidding me. U would have to be quite a shitty linesman to get that offside wrong and that muntari goal wrong.

Muntari's goal is another issue, but I'm talking about today. Not the first nor the last time a ref will get an offside wrong. Doesn't mean we have to cry conspiracy every time the result doesn't go our way. This is getting ridiculous.

Fan protests prompt Genoa-Siena Serie A match to be suspended with Siena leading 4-0

By Associated Press,

GENOA, Italy — Fan protests have prompted the Serie A match between Genoa and Siena to be suspended with Siena leading 4-0 early in the second half.

Fans threw flares onto the field and climbed atop barriers as they were faced by stewards in riot gear. One section of hard-core “ultra” fans got up and walked out of the Luigi Ferraris stadium.

Genoa has the worst defense in the league and is fighting to avoid relegation.

It was unclear if the match would resume or not.

its worth crying conspiracy when even a guy wearing a pirate eye patch would have gotten that call correct. how far behind was ibra from the last man anyway? it wasnt even shoulder to shoulder.

So the logical conclusion is that juve who spent the last 5 seasons getting over calciopoli bribed the linesman to make a bad call against Milan, rather than a human made an error in judgment? :)

Seriously guys? FFS it's a mistake, could happen. Linesman has to make a decision in a split second.

Why does it have to be anyone else's fault but Milan? :max:

:proud:

Amazing stuff by Giuseppe Sculli. There's a new definition required for this man's guts.

1:50 onwards is awesome.

Ultras stopped the game at 0-4, asked the players to return the jerseys as they weren't worthy of it. Captain collected the jerseys and went up, but Sculli stepped up, and the video is what followed.

Play back on and running. Brilliant stuff, Sculli practically went into a den of criminals and negotiated successfully.

+1 People have been reacting weirdly since the Muntari incident. Today's was the kind of mistake that happens dime a dozen every single week in every single league.

Chaos as Genoa-Siena halted

The match between Genoa and Siena was suspended for 30 minutes when angry ultras demanded the players take off their shirts, as they were “unworthy” of wearing them.

Genoa were losing 4-0 at the 53rd minute when the Marassi crowd halted play by throwing fireworks and climbing on top of the tunnel.

Captain Marco Rossi went to negotiate with the ultras, who demanded the squad remove their jerseys, as they were “unworthy” of wearing the Genoa colours.

After some time, the players accepted and there were tears from Giandomenico Mesto as he handed over his shirt.

Rossi was walking around the pitch with a pile of jerseys to show the fans, but Giuseppe Sculli refused to co-operate.

Sculli went over to speak to the fans himself and insisted with great passion that he was giving his all for Genoa, so would not take off the shirt.

He too was in tears and comforted by the head ultra. This proved a breakthrough and the game was allowed to resume.

Allegri is giving sensible reactions tonight. We sucked, we dropped points. Conspiracy theorists are embarrassing themselves.

Born in Locri, the Province of Reggio Calabria, Sculli is the grandson of Giuseppe Morabito a notorious boss of the 'Ndrangheta, the Calabrian mafia organisation.

Hahahaha, BRILLIANCE. Completely explains everything.

What a disgrace. The Italian FA has to do something and banish ultras from future matches once and for all. Absolutely pathetic scenes at the Marassi.

How do ultras have that much power? To be able to stop a game and demand players shirts and some players actually gave them there shirts is pathetic.

la turinia has been churning out refs and linesman to favor them for ages now. It is an institutionalized sin.
