So, silva, ibra, cassano are all practically gone (i hope robinho leaves as well). Very difficult to take, but I'd be less upset if B&G would start the rebuilding mode by filling the squad with talented youngsters, like de sciglio, ses, acerbi, verratti, dede, oscar, etc. these guys should be given more responsibilities and playing time and should be the ones that define the club's culture in the future. I know they're very young, but there's no point competing with a squad without proper replacements for thiago (soon ibra & cassano. wonder if boateng would leave as well), as we wont get any good results anyway. We wont be competing for the league and CL with these youngsters in the next few years. But when cash flows get better and 1 good transfer every year, milan has the potential to be good again in 3-4 years. I just hope that B&G open just a little fraction of their fucking brains and have a proper plan for 5-10 years down the road. Forza milan...

If I were allegri, Id take everything galliani says to him with a grain of salt. I assume in a year he'll be out the door. everything is setting up for him to fail right now. my guess will be Guardiola is coming in 2013/2014. and from various reports Barbara intends on pushing Galliani out and we've heard in the past Silvio Berlusconi's disapporval of Allegri. I believe he's only around cause Galliani is around still. That's my opinion. Cassano and Robinho should be next on the chopping block is my guess.

Fair to say we failed at transitioning after the 07 victory. How many years has it been now? If I had a child in 07, they'd be in college by now :) (ok, exaggerating) but we failed. It's okay as long as it is accepted and they channel their energies for a better tomorrow. But knowing the champions of; "I am the most successful president," "Milan has won the most trophies," I think it's not wrong to question those guys. We're just fans though with feelings and our opinions are as good as none. On vas fait comment?

Fester is almost crazy :fp:

With Ibra and TS departure Fester is saving more than 100mil. Let's hope Barbara will sell the club because the old men (like B and G) are very sick.

Instead TS, we can sign this guy: Chiriches from Steaua.

It's not a bad player and he could play also in the midfield.

We'll have a hot summer.

at the US open this week... Not able to enjoy it with the Silva talk turning into mass exodus talk.

something is up... It almost feels like management has been ordered to cash out. I wonder of there is something coming up that they are holding back. Not good news but definitely smells fishy

Don't worry, there are not so many players that we can sell.On the other hand our young boys like Antonini and Mesbah will retire here.:g:

On Milan Channel they expect that €25-30m of the money won’t be used on new signings. They’ll be used to balance the books. €10-12m will be used on a defender. Silvestre, Astori and Ogbonna were mentioned, but another player could be signed instead. Acerbi could be signed but not from the money that the club gets from the sale of Thiago Silva. €8-10m will be used on a midfielder. Sahin and Strootman were mentioned but another player could be signed instead.

Yarmolenko's agent: "Milan have made an offer of €20 million to Dynamo Kiev for my client."

Selling Ibra we can live with. He's a rock star and (along with Silva) single-handedly won us the Scudetto last year... but we'd get 30M and save ~20M/year in wages... and have a lot of good forwards already.

But selling Silva is a mistake. He makes our poor backline look good. He makes our terrible midfield look good. We'd need a CB, FB, and anchor to make up for his loss. Guess how much each of those will cost if people know we got 50M for Silva?

Case in point - they're asking 20-25 for Dede now.

:lol:This is the biggest bs I've read recently.
Few weeks ago his agent was talking about Barca and Arsenal.
Besides, why on earth do we need a younger version of Robinho.

First of all, why the hell would we bid 20m on a forward? Is Ibra or Cassano leaving? :fp:

Second of all, I welcome anyone who can become the new Sheva :D

Antonio Cassano considering leaving AC Milan now that it appears Thiago Silva moving to PSG

KRAKOW, Poland — Forward Antonio Cassano says he'll consider leaving AC Milan now that it appears defender Thiago Silva is moving to Paris Saint-Germain.

Italy's Antonio Cassano stands near the goal during a training session at the Euro 2012 soccer championship in Krakow, Poland, Monday, June 11, 2012. (AP Photo/Gregorio Borgia)
Speaking at Italy's European Championship camp, Cassano says, "I'm playing the European Championship, then afterward I'll think about staying at Milan or leaving."

Cassano adds that selling Silva is "a crime," adding that the Brazilian is "the best defender in the world, and shouldn't be sold for any price."

Italian media are reporting that PSG will buy Silva for €40 million ($50 million), plus €10 million ($12.5 million) in bonuses.

Cassano transferred to Milan midway through the 2010-11 season after falling out with Sampdoria when he allegedly insulted club president Riccardo Garrone with a profanity-laced verbal tirade. He has also played for Bari, Roma and Real Madrid.

How can you make such ridiculous assertions to the players and the fans such as, "Thiago Silva will remain 100%," then a week later, "Thiago Silva will remain 99.9%"?

And, as soon as we know it Galliani is over in Paris and a deal is done. Wow. Just wow. I'm sick of the lies, and what us fans put into the club every year. We deserve better.

If Milan are going to rebuild, then do it properly and rebuild. Back your manager, back your youngsters and select a few players, if we will have any by the end of the transfer window, and build around them.

PSG's latest offer is €42 million, but Galliani wants more, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. They also need to agree on the bonuses. Gazzetta dello Sport also reports that Leonardo has offered Thiago Silva a 5-year contract, worth €10 million per season.
Galliani has booked a flight from Paris to Milano today at 15:00 CET.

AC Milan defender Thiago Silva not making PSG move for money

AC Milan defender Thiago Silva insists he's not chasing money over his imminent move to PSG.

The deal would be worth €42m plus another €5m in bonuses, added to a contract worth €12m per season.

“I don’t think about money, as that is not an issue for me,” Thiago Silva told magazine Chi.

“My strength is my family and above all God. I am a devoted Christian and also have a tattoo on my arm confirming I am a son of the Lord.

“In our Brazilian team we have in my view one of the top three strikers in the world, Alexandre Pato. I only hope he rediscovers his fitness.

“I send a sincere wish of good luck to the Italy side and my part-Italian, part-Brazilian, part-crazy friend Antonino Cassaninho. He’s a phenomenon.”

Hope the ******ed French tax kicks in, 70% on Thiago's salary. Scare the shit out of him, just so he stays with Milan

Ibra has the right to feel aggrieved. He got cheated, he should have joined Man C

Milan, Aquilani cancels with Liverpool, now can return to Galliani

The future of Alberto Aquilani, writes Corriere dello Sport , AC Milan will be even. The player has in fact terminated its contract with Liverpool and may soon return to wear the Milan shirt. We still lack the details related to the buyout, but the termination will be formally announced in the coming days, when Aquilani will return to deal with Adriano Galliani.

The whole Milan getting back to the top that Ibra spoke about

We need a long term project here. All the management do is paper up the cracks week-in, week-out. I'm very interested to see where we go from here.

the money we will get from the departure of tiago silva will not be re-invested 100% guarantee. from the kakas sale we saw that the wholeeee total got put towards debt! thats why id rather sell to a team like barca where we can get some players out of them (even tho we make them invincible) we get a few players! but if we sell to psg we'll buy some garbage who doesn't even deserve to train at milanello let alone play a game in the san siro! hard times ahead for milan time to sell and get some arab who doesn't care about his pockets! that my friends will be the best signing milan could make
