or he simply lacks a functioning brain

half of it is scoring and celebrating :D
this is not a good dribbling compilation he is a scorer I think he did good stuff before coming here , he went direct later on he cannot even take out two defenders

I think he plays in serie a might be a big reason, in open spaces he is very fast, the goal against mexes was special but he dont dribble that greatly
even against bartha it was direct

I love compilations like this one, 3:54 minutes, 2:50 of celebrations, the rest yeah it pretty much shows Pato's best moments as a footballer...in a minute and 4 secs, many of them on repeat (if they did't repeat so much, I would add the goal vs Barcelona, ones vs Madrid, vs Inter in 10/11 and the goal vs Chievo in that same season which would still make it of 1:04 minutes, but yeah most of it would still focus on 08-09 season), and Nickelback song. Actually it's sad it focused on celebrations and some useless dribblings when for ex. it doesn't really go much back to that goal vs Fiorentina in 07-08.

That said at 0:52 :proud:.

He hadnt been training with the team it seems, but now he actually did the normal team training. Which is huge.
If true, this means he seriously might be able to play the next game from the bench.

i realy cant belive some people i wrote 3 post about pato recovery ,he trained all traning for the first time and he will play for primavera on saturday and he will be ready to start game against lazio.

so no bullshit storys there are video s about this ,this is first time pato did hole traning and little match also.

I am Excited about the Merda game on the weekend, I wanna see hat tricks from Pato, SES and abbiati. I want us to humiliate the Merda so badly that they have to leave the San Siro in shame - FOREVER

I dont know what you meant there, he was a great starlet with no fear when he joined here, he expressed himself more, played every game, then he regressed, his knack of goal scoring is awesome 60 goals at this age. I want him to succeed here, but its just a luxury signing , not great when we are in such a deep hole financialy.
He will always score its inbuilt in him, he is fast. he doesnt have a high footballing IQ and so he uses his speed and talent to score
Ibra is not a compatible player for pato ... Ibra didnt create pato

Pato needs to put tons of game time under his belt to be justify we paid for 5 years ago. At this time pato is under-performing costly asset at-least he is young but his off the field actions are not encouraging to me esp banging boss daughter

Oh I will be supporting him like i suport every milan player when he is back .. I know injuries happen to player and we need to assist them fair enough I am not so impressed by his actions off the field not acting like moral police but it irks me a lot esp when you are the costliest and most experienced player in the team  I kow he is a kid .. oh well i love to troll miss pirlo thread :o

and pato cant dribble:fp: yeah right, neither does messi, they dont do all that fancy things over the ball like ronaldo:fp:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaJ44AnnOoo&feature=related

ZOMGZ, this totally proves how amazing he is with his dribbling skills, one play he did 6 years ago, which he has never done again.

I don't really understand why people take it so personal when one says Pato isn't exactly the best dribbler, he can do it, he's not great at it. He usually losses the ball, or gets figured out when he tries to do it. He's much better when he's going direct.

So true man. And :fp: at people who try to win football argument over fucking youtube compilation video.

Pato is no way a dribbler, he doesn't have good ball control, but he is fast and has got reflexes to score goals asap.

Again, why you jump so high out of your seat when someone post something good about pato?

pato cant dribble, you probably havent seen him play before 2010.

edit: I would never post a youtube compilation to prove a player is better than another or that he is good. NEVER.

Except...I have, and have been stating this since his debut season (but yeah of course, I didn't know of his existance till 2010), always thought it was a pretty overrated aspect in his game, and he's much better when he keeps things simple. I see other stuff in his game that are far better than his dribbling skills, in fact, that first video you posted to show us there's a 3:50 minute compilation on Pato's dribbling skills, focus a lot on his goals (and celebrations) more than his dribblings. His pace is pretty good, his heading technique is one my favorite things about him, he has a good goal sense/clinical finisher.

Your last 3 posts in this thread suggest otherwise.

I was with you because pato is not really a great dribbler because he is not fast/quick in reality but when you mentioned Messi all your post went slightly to the drain. Messi is the best player right now, but he does not dribble, Messi is more direct than Pato because Messi has amazing control of the ball at great speed; however, he does not dribble like a Robinho, Crissy, Neymar or player that can dribble.

i don't know man. What do you consider a dribble then? Step overs? Worthless kerlon seal crap?

Messi takes direct route, when it's there... and when he needs to dribble, he dribbles. Reminds me of Luiz Ronaldo or Sheva in that aspect, they didn't overcomplicate often when they didn't have to.

If that's not top class dribbling, I don't know what is.

As far as I'm concerned Messi and Iniesta are by far the two best dribblers in world BECAUSE of their control. Control is most important aspect of dribbling

I mean I'm willing to say messi is the best dribbler i've seen since ronaldo. And those two would be on a level above anyone else i can think of

I wouldn't say pato is a dribbler per say, IMO he's more like a kaka type "dribbler", where he would rip you apart in space.

all in all pato is a simple dribbler, makes use of his main strength, rather than cristiano or messi who can dribble in tight spaces.

Agreed with this. Guys like Ronaldo, Robinho, and Neymar used trickery to beat there opponents at times doesn't make them better dribblers.

Robinho and Neymar is the best dribbler in the world and Di Maria is also pretty close.
