How about we sending a message to FIGC making a rule that you can substitue the referee?

Would be nice if they did that. :D

Italian football is dying..

I pin my hopes on the likes of Mazzari, Montella, Conte and Pioli to save Italian football from its demise. Hell even Mazzari showed that he is not as brave as he acts when he decided to rest his stars vs PSV and got pounded for it. The stupid idiot ended up playing Cavani for 45 mins and they still lost.

A part of me is hoping that Roma would start crushing opponents, and force Italian teams to actually play like men. They are not getting the results they want, this is because it is hard to change the cautious mentality of Italian football players, but eventually and I pray very much that these players will begin to get accustomed to the level of intensity that he demands of them and to do it on a consistent basis. I think only then would Italian football be able to properly compete on the european stage and only then would the true tactical genius of Italian mangers would be able to show.

should have called up Borriello instead of Gilardino, although Gila has been good too...

Giaccherini should not have been called.

Like the Criscito and Candreva calls.

i agree with you, but in order for Italian football to make a comeback into the world stage it needs to reconstruct its laws and styles of game. The have to pump the intensity in the league. I like watching Barclay's PL because out fo the 30 something teams 15 are pretty good teams and can challenge the top clubs in england like city.manu, chelsea, hotspurs, liverpool, newcastle, arsenal, stoke an do on. they have intensity and quality in their teams.

I remember I once saw a statistic that showed how much lower the ball is in possession in Italian football is compared to the other big 5 leagues, and that is mostly due to moaning and time wasting on the pitch, players having to kick the ball out just because one guy is having a moment.. the problem is that Italian footballers think they are smart, that they are conserving energy on the long run, which was the case 10 years ago, it was a smart move, but other leagues have more energy storage, when you conserve all the time your storage becomes smaller, thats why when european matches go into extra time you will not see the italian team capable of hanging on, that is, if they are even able to take it that far to begin with, eventually they will crumble and they will give in. That is why Italians need to, like you said, raise their intensity levels, before start acting smart and resort to cheeky measures to piss off opponents and win the game with the least effort. Fucking modernize for god sake!

I dont think there is anything wrong with Italian football, just think its infrustruture lacks real funding.

He's better than Giaccherini, and his poor form for us doesn't mean that much for Italy because they still have playmakers who can complement his game like Ibra did last year.

I really don't think he is superior but we can agree to disagree on that. He is versatile I guess.

Like the Criscito and Candreva calls.

That came like a total surprise. I'm glad, because he is clearly the best LB choice ATM.

Typical goal.com faff. They seriously are clueless about football.

They usually are and its a tad bit exaggerated but right now:

-Juve are miles better then us.
-Napoli,Inter are just better.
-Fiorentina&Roma can give us a serious run for our money.(which is not very much)

So there really not to far off.I dont think theres any need to go player by to player to show the blatant lack of quality this team has.

Wild guess would be:

Inter 15 points

Milan 7 points.

I don't really think the points really show the difference between the two teams. It's not all that.
If we had a better luck in the derby, for example, that would be 12 x 10.

Still too early in the season.
