The endless excuses of Allegri's apologists...

so far, we've heard:

- PSV had more matches, are more match fit
- It's one match
- We lack CF
- We lack creativity
- We lack CB
- Team hasn't gel
- we still wait on Ljajic and Honda
- refs
- players all bad, but not him

anymore?

We're getting outruned in midfield because none of our midfielders who started today are capable enough to anchor and disrupt the opposition's passing in the final third, giving Monto the defensive burden is why he played badly today, he's just not the player for that role. De Jong or even Muntari would've helped us in that situation.

But Ancelotti had a class lineup, the Milan of Allegri is garbage compared to the players Ancelotti had.

:fp: Allegri fanboys are worse than Jehovah witnesses really.. nothing you can say to their twisted logic. Time to look deep inside your asses and pluck your eyes out of there.

Don't be preposterous. If the rules are going to be obeyed(diving is illegal) then reputation and past events can have no impact on the giving of a penalty.

You can't have two barometers(rules and referee) and have one being objective and one not. The referee should have given us a penalty. Fact. Regardless of what Balotelli did, even if he slept with his sister or was arrested for child pornography before the game.

Well, not really. We were almost playing 4-2-4 in the first half, go look up the half-time comments to remember that... then tiredness set in and we went through phases of uselessness and control, neither of which had a 30m gap.

They were motivated until we conceded. Klopp really motivated his team against Bayern too, right? When they lost? And Tito against Bayern... when they lost? And Conte against Milan... when they... lost?

It's fucking preposterous here.

Teams lose games. Arsenal lost to the almost relegated Aston Villa last weekend, yet people here seem to think we should win every game and that every single fault you can level at a manager is true in this case.

This game had few faults from Allegri.

since when did conte lose to milan. Anyways, i dont think people are upset by the loss, its more to do with how dysfunctional and unorganized we looked out there. I dont mind losing, providing we create ample opportunities and play good effective football. Everytime hellas pushed forward i was worried and almost expected them to score every chance they managed to create. That shows how potent their attacking threat was today unlike ours.

Allegri: "Verona won the match deservedly. We only played well in the first 13 minutes."

Allegri: "I'm more angry than worried about this defeat."

honestly he'd do himself a lot of favours if he doesnt speak. What the fuck happened after 13 minutes?

anyways, even though Luca Toni fucked us over royally, I liked the way he played our defence. He also resembles a bit of Yepes which is always awesome.

Screw you Toni for being effective.

Milan dont have Xavi Iniesta and Ribery on the bench whilst Verona have Luca Toni and Romulo

I still can't believe some people are surprised about the ugly way Milan play. People think because it's a new season things will change magically. It's like groundhog day every year. Until we upgrade to a class midfield, nothing will ever change. Don't care how strikers we buy or how many cool haircuts Milan players have, until we invest in a class midfield this is how it's gonna be.

My big issue (well one of them)

we gave up another set piece goal. I mean seriously, we let them in left and right. Continually sucking at them and players not knowing where to go on them goes right back to the coach.

Seriously, he didnt gameplan for LUCA TONI on corners? that is piss poor coaching

agree. I was really facepalming myself several times when i saw the replay.

I am going to wait to give my total report until I watch the second half; however, from the first half:

- We controlled the game until we scored from a nice pass from Balo to Poli and Poli scoring. After that, either it was that our minds is on the game against PSV or we went back to the one goal advantage and start to defend like Verona was Barcelona at their best.

- Constant was a failure in the first half. I thought he was going to **** the smaller teams.

- Zapata? are we going to back to the dud that is beyond awful in the air (2nd goal) plus how come our defense leaves Toni alone for the first goal.

- This game showed me again that as much as Balo is a great talent; it is clearly that he is not Ibra. Now before people try to bash and insult me; what I mean is that defenders were truly 'afraid' of Ibra; on the other hand, defenders just get irritated of Balo and resort to foul him due his attitude.

- SeS and Niang were subpar (quite non-existent); Monty was lost; Nocerino? I do not know what he was doing on the pitch.

Edit

Much better!

No more children, we need players now with accountability. Someone has one matches for club and country.

Llajic is a cherry on top not the main ingredient.

Both actually.

I'm thinking if we didn't buy Balotelli , this Milan could have learned to work as a team.. but when pazzo and el92 started to really play well we bought the guy and Allegri happily put everything on his shoulders like he did with Zlatan. While Zlatan is a tough character he certainly proved he can carry the team and is not an imbecile. Can't say the same about Balotelli yet.

or it's just one game...
Every year with Allegri there are "If only we hadn't fucked it up in all those games, we would..." thoughts in our heads.

Last season was saved thanks to Balo dives/PKs and an unlucky Viola.

How long can we keep on hoping for a Balo dive/PK to save us?

Don't make Carlo comparisons. The man is a fuck up in league games.

I also prefer De Jong, but I wouldn't say Monty can't play there... He had a really off day, just that. We got the third place last season using him as anchor.

IMO, Poli and Nocerino didn't seem enough to give him defensive support.

Pro Allegri is pro Milan.

How can morons not realise this.

You're effectively arguing: "Pro Cambodian government is anti-Cambodia. It should be pro Pol Pot!"

If you get my drift. Stability is always better. It has been one game. Get a fucking grip. Taskforce is for the good of Milan. Realise that they're also the most optimistic fans of Milan and the most positive.

Who are the big haters of Allegri? Dru, Vecchio Ultra, Moggster... others... all of whom are pessimistic and seem to actively dislike Milan at times.

BUT ANCELOTTI LOST TO NEWLY PROMOTED BOLOGNA AND GENOA IN 2008!!
Enough kuja. Allegri's philosophy is fail in Milan. He exclude pirlo, ronaldinho... We can't win with a Rambo midfield and 3 dm in system. Allegri can't produce a unit team, zero ideas...

Saturday August 24 2013 Allegri: 'We played badly'

Massimiliano Allegri admits Milan deserved their 2-1 defeat in Verona. “We played badly and were only a team for 13 minutes.”

Andrea Poli had given them the early lead at the Stadio Bentegodi, but Luca Toni bagged a brace of headers to seal the Serie A season opener upset.

We played badly at football, badly as a team and should’ve controlled the ball better,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

We reanimated Verona, who had until then been struggling. We played badly and Verona amply deserved the victory, so this has to make us reflect. We must play with more determination to bring home the results.

I am not so much worried as angry, because we made life difficult for ourselves, were soft and were bad on a technical level too.

It is the opening weekend, so it’s NOT normal that to lose like this is painful, especially as we have an important Champions League play-off with PSV on Wednesday.

Toni set the example for Verona and fought like a lion, which ought to be our spirit,” continued Allegri.

In order to get results, we need a different attitude. There are some players who didn't manage much pre-season training, but that cannot be an alibi. When your legs give in, you have to defend with 10 men and that didn’t happen today.

We only played as a team for the first 13 minutes. Were there refereeing errors? I prefer to talk about the game.”

Monty can play the role but the midfield needs to be more compact.

Blame it all on Allegri. That's the most stupid and most easy thing to do.

Blame Allegri because NDJ & co are injured.

Blame Allegri because he's forced to play with mediocre players.

Blame Allegri because Monto's not in form.

Blame Allegri because this was Balo's worst match for Milan and had no one to replace him with.

And about the fitness problem. The players looked tired, but this is normal after the preseason trainings. We'll look better from this pov in the next matches.

About the match, indeed we played like shit. But the most important thing is: we need at least 3 new players. A CB, at least one CM, anda RW. Maybe a striker too.

management arent getting honda, they pissed them off and they said they wont sell him period. Ljajic and sakho would go a long way helping us out. Balo needs service and we simply dont have anyone that can give him any

ses balo
ljajic
poli dejong monto
des mexes sakho abate

that is a really good squad and the best we can do for now
