i just hope, that if Inzaghi gets promoted, they stick with him as coach for longer than 6 months.
If Seedorf is to take over in the summer, no matter what, might as well put Tassoti as coach until summer.

Milans 5 step plan to success

Step 1: allegri gets sacked.
Step 2: pippo takes the helm
Step 3: pippo achieves third place in seria A
Step 4: pippo get a 5 year contract
Step 5: pippo becomes Untouchable, while seedorf moans and cries like a bitch

I hope for this, i hope that Pippo will stay, and Seedorf with never come here.

I have seen 3 of his primavera sides games, all in ucl youth competition. Looks like a conservative italian style but he was getting the job done.

I'd rather he doesn't come now. With a squad we have, it might ruin his reputation trying to live up to the hype in saving us. Unless changes are made to the puny defense. First we need a super dynamic defensive midfielder.. That's super beastly like making 5-6 tackles per match.. Like Gattuso but with a better passing skills. Not a Nocerino nor a Muntari not a Poli not even Essien or whatever BS they are trying to sell in papers.

Fernando and Yaya Toure type of players. And Fernando is on the shortlist of Seedorf's request.

He has experience of coaching.
He has experience of working in Milan as a coach.
He knows the youth players better than most.
He has more passion than this whole squad combined.
He is Inzaghi.

He must be the new manager!

Pippo Inzaghi has emerged as a candidate to replace Eusebio Di Francesco on the Sassuolo bench.

Di Francesco is seen as on his way out of the Neroverdi, after a disappointing defeat at the weekend to Livorno saw the side slip back into the relegation zone.

Whilst Alberto Malesani was linked with the position yesterday, reports today indicate that Milan youth team boss Inzaghi has been approached.

It is understood that the retired striker, who was linked recently with temporarily replacing Max Allegri on the San Siro bench before Clarence Seedorf’s accelerated arrival, has made Milan aware of the interest too.

However, Adriano Galliani is believed by Sky Sport Italia as having considered the proposal and indicated to Inzaghi his desire for him to honour his contract with the Primavera, which runs through to June 2016.

Another meeting between Inzaghi and Galliani on the situation is expected during the course of Tuesday.

Sassuolo are believed reluctant to confirm Di Francesco’s removal from the bench before they have his replacement lined up.

AC Milan Primavera coach Pippo Inzaghi has explained turning down an approach from Sassuolo.

Sassuolo have since named Alberto Malesani as new coach.

“Regarding the news over the last few days, I wish to thank President Squinzi and Sassuolo for the opportunity to be a part of their project,” said Inzaghi.

“I am flattered and honoured that Sassuolo, an ambitious club with clear, innovative and solid ideas, thought of me as their Coach.

“However, it seemed only right to support and respect Milan’s decision to keep me in charge of Rossoneri Primavera side.

“Now I will continue, with hunger and enthusiasm, in my journey along with the lads.”

Pippo Inzaghi says he is rooting for Clarence Seedorf to come good at Milan and that he is taking his own career ‘a step at a time’.

The retired striker was linked with replacing Max Allegri as Coach a few weeks ago, before the position was handed to Seedorf.

On from taking the club’s primavera outfit to a second successive final in the Viareggio Youth tournament, against Anderlecht for a consecutive year, the young tactician has reflected on what might have been.

“I am happy, we have achieved the chance to play in a final so prestigious for a second year in a row,” Inzaghi began to Sky Sport 24 this week.

“I hope my boys play well, it would be nice to win. We hope to bring home the Cup. What makes me proud is how the players follow me and my staff, it is something extraordinary.

“Do I regret not being first team Coach? No. I am happy where I am. I began in Serie C and arrived to the top of the world.

“I take it a step at a time and am very calm. I am very happy that Seedorf has come, he was one of the first to call me yesterday.

“I wish him all the luck in the world, I will continue my way, rooting for Milan and Clarence. I hope that he does well on Wednesday against Atletico.

“His impact? It has been very good, he should be allowed to work peacefully, the situation he has inherited is not easy.

“He has two-and-a-half-years to return Milan to past glories, we hope he can do it. He is a great friend of mine.”

Inzaghi was also linked with the bench at Sassuolo last month, only for the Rossoneri to reject their advances and the Coach to opt to remain.

“Galliani has never wanted to get rid of me. The offer was important, Milan didn’t want me to go and I did not even think about it, I would be sorry to leave my boys.

“Milan is my home. I want to finish my second adventure and then we shall see. The relationship with Galliani is amazing as always.

“Why did I decide to become a Coach? I wanted to play again, then Milan made me this offer.

“I decided to retire, it was difficult, but I made the right choice, beginning this adventure that is giving me great satisfaction.”
