Someone had the quote 30 pages back or so. If I can't grab it in few minutes (since I'm wasting my morning) then then sorry

edit

Taarabt told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport:

'I would only refuse offers from the big English clubs if Milan made me an offer.

'My agent is in talks with Galliani, but it depends on what happens with Robinho and (reported AC Milan target Javier) Pastore. Milan aren’t going through a glorious period now, and they’re no longer a part of the top clubs.
'However, if I joined Milan then it would open up the doors for me to great clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona.'

And Taarabt believes he could be a success at Milan — just like his friend and former Tottenham team-mate Kevin-Prince Boateng.

'My friend Boateng is also at Milan. When we were at Tottenham he was often in the stands, so I think that I have a chance too.'
He's right. It's a rather cuntish thing to say to potentially your next club but he's keeping it Real (no pun intended  )

the only thing really to dislike the taarabat deal is that it is short sighted I mean I doubt it's a move beyond 6 months and loaning zaccardo means we get him back at seasons end .the unfortunate thing is we can't afford another bad season next year and I'm not saying bad as in not winning the league but bad is in not qualifying for CL.that being said we have essentially two transfer periods to try and get it right with this one almost over we have done ok with Honda ,Rami and even essien but we still have a huge amount of players to get rid of and we still haven't addressed the defensive issues we have had .

it's this reason we should be pissed not at a 6 month loan of a player that could actually be better than robinho .Napoli ,roma and these types have made moves for the future and we haven't but we are also in a totally different predictament to them.the worry is galliani does not know how to deal in this environment I mean even when we had bad seasons in the past we had the players capable of getting out of it .now we have little to no money and are missing that real competitive edge.for me though a real quality gk, cb and midfielder and we are back in .whether we like them or not balo, abate,de sciglio,de jong, montolivo, honda, pazzini and a fit ses are a good basis to build a team around with players like Rami,Essien,Zapata, cristante and a few others being handy additions.

He might be keeping it real, but all he's doing is settling in at position -10 at the start of his Milan journey...it'll be in his interest to get to 0..like normal 'outsiders' who stfu about their future employer. AND THEN, from there, might we (I) appreciate his work..

We don't need another big ego. Once upon a time I was all for it, but we are finding it difficult even guiding Balotelli (though I have faith in him and Seedorf coop) since we barely have any leaders on and off.

Bundesfodder defences are as good as La Liga. As I have said in previous posts from 2008 onwards football is attack oriented with not so much care about defending. The amount of quality teams have also diminished drastically due to larger teams buying them out. I must commend them for their winning streak and so on but it compares nothing to a Milan side in the early 90's.

Catenaccio against these teams back in the day would be a sight to determine which side is better.

oh ok, so u were comparing with il grande milan of the 90's, in that case, il grande milan is obviously miles better. That was the best team ever in history. Its a pity that MVB had to retire prematurely, otherwise we may have won 2 more league titles plus another UCl as well.

2 days left:

- zaccardo, mexes, amelia/gabriel, constant still here despite saying we will be getting rid of them for a month now… and the two fodders we got rid of - nocerino & matri - both left on a fucking free loan.

- no indication that we are signing any WC player

- for like the umpteenth mercato - we have not spent money.

milanistas are rightfully growing impatient with this strategy by Galliani… even though Berlusconi is the one who isn't putting in the funds, Galliani is the one who is not getting rid of these players.. he could easily rescind their contracts, but however he sees them as assets that can be traceable for other assets (like the antonini - birsa deal)

We still have Galliani as CEO so how do you expect us to get rid of fodder?

Our CEO is fodder himself so its not a suprise we are a very mediocre side now

Taarabt would be a MUUCH better option then Robinho on the left. He is just as skillful, has better vision, and is a better finisher than Robinho. And on loan is a great deal, he could be impressive.

Question: How many times have you watched Taarabt the last few seasons?

The only time the guy actually had a good season was the shitty championship. Has been garbage or close to garbage ever since

If we use your criteria, might as well sign Quaresma considering he was touted as Cristiano Ronaldo Pt. II at one point

You pulled that out your ass. Yesterday the papers said Seedorf preferred Biabiany. The truth is that I don't think Seedorf really cares. Nothing significant will happen this transfer market and he will have to wait till summer to make the big changes. He's only been here a couple weeks ffs.

And if Taarabt does come, and it's a loan, then I highly, highly doubt we'll buy him outright unless he performs big time for us.
You never know with :g:

This man is single handedly destroying the club,Taraabt is not even a position we are lacking depth...wtf

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/adel-taarabt/profil/spieler_45287.html

12 games 0 goals 1 assist for a relegation side.

"I will refuse offers from top english sides and go to Milan if they do as I say so I can move on to Barca and Real"

Really?

Hate this character, hope this deal doesn't go through or if it does he leaves after half a season

Fucking hell what a depressing mercato. Last year we got Balo and spent on Saponara/Salamon. This year we got 2 free rejects without spending. And things were supposed to get better :fp:

Latest: According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Taarabt will be tomorrow in Italy. Player will sign a contract with Milan: loan with the right of redemption for 7 million euro. It is still unclear if Zaccardo will be inserted in the transaction.

Galliani gets a D- if we only end up with a free Essien and Taarabt on loan. I don't count Honda and Rami cause those deals were done a few months ago. Galliani was also unsuccessful at this point of getting rid of a bunch of fodder.

Uh... why dont they count? We got possibly 3 upgrades at starting positions thats fine for a january mercato.

I dont like Gallaini btw just think this window was decent.
