Loved Galliani's line about revenge. "Liverpool, Boca and now Anderlecht have learned what happens when Pippo Inzaghi takes his revenge on them."

^^^ probably but we're not likely to win a trophy this year so why not?

I really hope he gets a chance at Milan one day.

Love his attitude.

“Milan did not want me to talk and it was closed,” responded Inzaghi on the issue once more to today’s edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I have not forced anything. Milan has given me everything. I would never go against them. I have accepted a plan of work - a year with the juniors, two with the primavera.

“Faced with a major project, if Milan agree, then I would consider it. Otherwise, I will complete the plan. Milan cares also about my professional growth. When I am convinced of something, I do it regardless of everything else.

“I’m not afraid of anything, I know that sooner or later I will leave my boys, but today I do not want to imagine that. You must be joking…I’ve only just won the Viareggio.

“Clarence [Seedorf] was a teammate, a friend. One minute after the call [of congratulations yesterday] from Galliani came those from Seedorf and Tassotti.

“We have a wonderful relationship. Clarence is a great, he just needs time.

“Who is my role model on the bench? I do not forget that Mourinho phoned me to give me courage when I was injured, I did not expect that.

“But my first model remains Ancelotti. He was loved by the players.”

Inzaghi reflected on yesterday’s success with his team.

“My joy is to see them happy and especially to see them grow. The greatest satisfaction was not the Cup, but that I found a team of adults. They demonstrated desire and their availability was impressive.

“Messages of congratulations? I received a call from Galliani and also from the President Berlusconi and from Barbara. On the phone I had 150 messages.”

I wonder which players pippo would recommend to seedorf about a possible spot in the first team.

Galliani really is overplaying the importance of veraggio trophy a tad bit.

he's always doing this.how many times has he referred to the amount of trophies won during berlu era , despite being out of topic and none questioned him so?the only persons doing this in recent football history is him and mourinho with his pathetic press conferences.

hope seedorf follows ancelotti's line and stay on his height.

however that doesnt make pipo's success any less important.

Cuz it sounds like a guy trying to cover his failures with a house of straws.

you got it :)

TBF the primavera is the only aspect of the club that radically improved over the past half decade so let him promote it. thats the only place hes actually doing a good job. thoe how much he is really responsible i dont know

youth trophies overall are mostly meaningless. you can have a winning team and in the end no quality player comes out. the team that won the tim cup looked like it would produce good midfielders. cristante seems the real deal and he wasn't part of that and didnt win anything

then let him be ceo of primavera not first team.

dont you see that he is good when he has 'unlimited funds' (mastour gori barisic etc) but when he is called to run a club that is self-sustainable he is shit??

solid plan. galliani as primavera manager, wenger as primavera coach. now all we need to do is convince them to swallow their reputation and accept peanuts for salary

With the elimination from the playoffs to enter the final stages of the Primavera championship ended at the level of official games, the second season as manager of Filippo Inzaghi on the bench of the youth of Milan. The name of Super Pippo is, along with that of Roberto Donadoni, Vincenzo Montella and Luciano Spalletti, from among the candidates to replace Clarence Seedorf at the helm of the first team next season. According to what has been learned from MilanNews.it, in the course of next week, Filippo Inzaghi will meet with Adriano Galliani where the former striker and the manager will talk about the future professional Goofy. The coach of the first team is in the dreams of Inzaghi, however, is estimated by many Serie A clubs ready to offer their bench. Next week we will know more. Inzaghi-Galliani, the contact is fixed.

Pippo's book, thesis, coaching philosophy etc in english - http://www.soccertranslator.com/2014/03/thesis-review-mentality-to-be-winners.html?m=1

Great read. Can see Pippo become a coach à la Cholo/Conte :o

nice!

i especially like this "We can then say that the mind, or better yet, the mental quality of a certain person, is the only essence of its real success or failure. Therefore, luck does not exist. Our 'luck' is the development of our abilities and relationships to the maximum extent as is possible."
