So 'The Great Nocerino' finally left us. Apparently there's buyout option/obligation in contract. Anyway, why didn't we use him to get Darmian? Galliani's forever giving Cairo free players getting nothing back :fp:

Serie B side Latina are also interested in signing Petagna on loan. They have already expressed their interest in Milan Primavera's Tamas.

Kingsley Boateng has joined NAC Breda on a 3-year deal .

********** claims that Milan will pay for half of Nocerino's salary (AFAIK he earns €1.5m) while he's on loan at Torino next season.

GdS says that Preziosi and Galliani could meet again this weekend and a swap deal between Matri and Vrsaljko could be on the cards.

Hopefully Vrasljko's smokescreen for Perin. Would rather have Perin-Abate-DES then Agazzi-Vrasljko-DES.

Why not Perin-Vrasljko-DES? ;)

We have 4 GKs on our roster, Matri and hopefully some saved up wage money so never say never.

Hate to think what that implies for Matri. No wonder we can't afford Iturbe :fp:

Galliani is such a tool ! spend 30 m wisely you jerk !
we should get Feghouli for RW ! market value 11m ! he is only 24 ...and spend 15m on a solid ball playing midfielder which we really need !

Iturbe is really not worth it..let him go to juve for 28-30 m !

you have a point!!!

How is lamela just a prospect and Shaqiri isnt?

----

If we spend 30m on one youngster.. i wish it would be on someone like Verratti rather than iturbe

Because Shaqiri has proven his worth at the highest level many times. In CLs and in World Cups. Has Lamela done that?

Don't be fooled by the age. Shaqiri is at a more mature stage in his career than Lamela or Iturbe is.

About the "third party" ownership - dont all agents take a cut on transfer? I'm pretty confident Raiola does
And Pastore agent totally skinned Palermo.

Hahaha Feghouli for 11m... Good luck with that
Peter Lim, new project, great WC. How can people be so simple minded when it comes to these things.

Someone's getting Feghouli for 11 million? Sounds like a great deal.

I love reading positive rumors but at the same time people need to realize that we are dealing with the same man that promised Mr. X for the WHOLE transfer window and we never got anyone. Don't be fooled by any reports.

Even when news comes out that a certain player is coming in for a medical, you still can't trust that it is a done deal. Until i see any player holding a Milan jersey I don't believe it 100%.

Getting Perin would make this mercato for me.
Rather sad how the less glamorous aspects of the team (def + mid) get treated like bastard children.

What world cups? And what CLs?

A good game here and there and thats it. He is a sub for robben in bayern. And He played one good game against mighty Honduras in the World Cups :proud: .

Lamela was the best youngster in Serie A 2 years ago. His stint at Tottenham wasnt great, but IMO it was more about wrong guy, wrong place.

You know very well that Shaqiri's career doesn't start from Bayern. His CL performances with Basel is what got him that move to begin with. Man Utd wins etc etc.

Shaqiri is playing good games at the world cups while Lamela hasn't seen a world cup yet.

I don't think this is a tough comparison. Spurs and Bayern were wrong moves for both respectively; we dont even need to compare that.

For me, Shaqiri has done a lot more with Basel and Switzerland than Lamela has done with Roma and Argentina.

He completely demolished a Sir Alex Ferguson managed Man Utd when he was at Basil, he played extremely well against Argentina and was a threat every time he touched the ball, and under Heynckes he played a lot more than last year and did very well.

Shaqiri is definitely a better player than Lamela at this point, and has every skill that shows he can be a star player

Shaqiri is an option too but wasn't he close to Liverpool?

He will cost maybe 22-23 mils at most i think so we can save few milions for a midfielder.

I want iTurbo but not at all cost.

Feghouli?

I can see the reports already.

Feghouli: "I spoke with Djamel and he told me about Milan and how they provide huge wages for fodder".

Both good players. but your argument is correct, shaqiri is further in his development.

I know what he did with Basel and what Lamela did with Roma, and to me there isnt much of a difference.

Lamela hasn't seen a worldcup cuz he is from argentina. You think he wouldn't be in the wcup if he was swiss? Or shaqiri would be picked if he was from argentina?

My point was simple, both are prospects. IMO someone like Reus is not a prospect, he is a proven star already- but these two have to go through a couple of seasons at a top club in a top league to prove they are the real deal. Till then both are prospects, and while you might prefer Shaqiri, my preference is Lamela.

Preziosi said that they won't go for Boriello. More chance for Matri to fuck off!

Yeah I do agree with Carlo that 25 million on a largely unproven player represents a huge gamble. I am curious as to how much money Berlusconi is willing to splash on this market. If 80-90% of it will be going to Iturbe without addressing other key areas then I don't think I agree with the transfer considering we have just bought Menez who isn't a terrible option.

The other side of the coin, however, is that Milan needs to take these sort of risks if we are going to return to the champions league in rapid fashion. Seems like the last few years have flown by and we have missed out on some real gems in the transfer window because we were unwilling to spend that little bit extra on a talent. The potential is there for all to see. A forward line consisting of El Shaawary-Balo-Iturbe is no doubt formidable but it will only be effective if it is given the right service and I can only envision effective service if the right midfield players are brought in.

Honestly, fuck Leroy Fer.

We want to get rid of the fodder and rid of Raiola, and we go and buy Leroy Fer on his advice?

Fer was barely good enough for Norwich, he'd be another Nocerino.

Absolute no no no to that move.
