Because Jordi Cruyff was ever anything more than average.

Can someone give me a list of great footballers who are actually the sons of legendary footballers themselves.
Maldini aside obviously.

Valentino and Sandro Mazzola

Not even close to the same situation.

People trying to appear objective and saying things like "Pirlo went to Juventus, but came to us from Inter. What's the difference?" are just stupid. The difference is that he came to Milan and did extremely well. You support Milan, you don't support Inter or Juventus. That's the difference.

Busquets dad was a GK for FCB, I think?
Mazinho is father os Thiago Alcantarra
And think Xabi Alonsos dad was a pro.

Heard Gabbiandini's sister is a kick ass player too.

was disappointed for PSG...though to be fair they did not play very well at all against barcelona

i saw a few bad passes from ibrahimovic...straight to a barca player...which summed up their game :(

was it me or did suarez not do much yesterday? i didn't notice he was on the field until he got subbed

PSG was shite and it made me proud. I despise that disgusting organization and wish them the baddest of luck in the future. Verratti was *fap fap fap* as usual though. :D

Zlatan was completely nowhere to be found. Funniest thing was that the Swedish studio spent all their pre- game talk on Zlatan, Zlatan, Zlatan and Zlatan. Totally jinxed.

I know I've already done this, but....David Luiz is WOAT.

And no. Not just you. Suarez wasn't easy to notice. Iniesta show deluxe. :)

I'd say the stupid ones are those who hate a player for joining another football club :fp: , glad i aint on that level of fandom. Armchair ultras

Thanks for reminding me who i support  But I also recognise that folks would choose to move to a new employer.

Get over it already.... thank em for what they did and its all good.

Even had some "milan" fans calling Silva a traitor... bunch of morons.

Completely  El Ney was just toying with poor ol marco, the future star of fodder A.

If you can't realise what Pirlo did was a huge bitch move then I pity you.

He left the club, fine, but he left to a big rival(I don't care if they were 7th) and completely slandered us in his autobiography.

He pretty much said we were a stepping stone and worth nothing and that he'd have crawled through glass to go to Madrid or Chelsea. Utter twat move and that's inarguable.

What if Chiellini ran down his contract with Juventus, joined us, helped lead us to 4 consecutive scudetti and knocking Juventus off their perch, and then published an autobiography saying he never cared about Juventus and that above Juventus is Milan and that he'd have gladly crawled through glass to move to Milan when they were a challenger for the CL and winning scudetti and Milan were 10th?

Do you not think they'd be pissed off? Is it valid?

The issue is less that he moved to Juventus and more that he completely fucked us in his autobiography.

ok so now we've moved from Juve to his autobiography.... What's next ???? he grew a beard :lol::lol:

Seriously... u had to wait for his book to come out to realise that. He wasn't the first milan player to be tempted by a move abroad... and seeing as all the "meelan" fans do is moan about the last 7-8 years then it seems Pirlo was right to want a move away.

He's the greatest italian of his generation.... once in a lifetime talent. And u guys are just salty cos he moved to a team that was in 7th. Or that he wrote a book.

Can you even hear yourself or are you being willfully ignorant?

The issue has always been the move and the autobiography.

His book wasn't long in the making. It added to the problems. We already were pissed off with his moving to the other big club of Italian football.

Are we not right to moan when Pirlo was very, very poor for a good 4 years before his move?

Subjective, but that's not to say I disagree.

Yes  That little bitch was holding out on us. We could have marketed his ass even more if he had that beard in Milan.

But seriously though I think most people hate him (I'm just disappointed in him) because he spit on the club who made him who he is today. True the Brescia coach Mazzone made him play regista instead of #10 but at Inter he didn't get playing time. He was constantly loaned out. We bought him and developed him to the level he is at today. So instead of saying he wanted to leave, the LEAST he could have done is thanked Milan for giving him the opportunity to win trophies and helping him grow as a player.

It was the book mostly, if Juventus didn't go onto dominate & were still 7th, no-one would really care.

But his book hurt, i hate it when players release books whilst still playing, can't say anything about the club that's paying there wages obviously & proceed to talk shit about the ones before.

It was unnecessary tbh, nowhere near as fond of him as i was.

Yes he was tempted to go to Barca and even Real, but Milan stopped that and offered him a new contract and he chose to renew didn't he?

what he said about 7th CL? I can't remember?

?I did not know where Milan would be after the 2006 world cup but i was certain that I didn?t want to play in Serie B. In less than a minute Capello had convinced me to come to Madrid, especially once I saw the paycheck on offer before the phone call happened. I was already talking in Spanish because in my heart, soul and mind I was already a Madrid Player with a 5 year contract and an unbelievable salary.?

?I was already imagining myself in the white jersey of Real Madrid. Then my agent called to tell me that Galliani had stopped the move. I rushed to Milanello and met Galliani. My agent kept telling him that Andrea wants Madrid but Galliani said ?No, he is not going anywhere.?

?Galliani gave me a new 5 year contract and told me to write any salary amount that i wanted. After a lot of thought i signed the contract. After turning Madrid down I had to lie about the whole thing and tell the media that ?I love Milan and I am happy at Milan.?

?I was very upset after all of this as Madrid are better than Milan. That Club has more charm than Milan. It has a better future and in every way they are better than Milan. When the season ended, we won the Champions league. That comforted me a little or the year would have been a disaster.?

OK yeah...as a milan fan, reading this hurts a little :(

thank goodness they won the CL the next season to keep him from being so miserable with the "write any amount" salary he was forced to take at milan

if only my career was such a "disaster"...

Gigi always had Milan in his heart. 3 Milan players who excelled in the CL in there.
