For this celebration against them, I will always be a fan of him.

to be fair to us, he had a good start to his career at milan because he was playing in a milan midfield where no one else ran other than him so he benefited off that. I remember praising him for running the most in our game against barca at the camp nou

Jesus.

In my defence, he'd been good for Palermo and Flamini was in the midst of his "I'll have 3 good games a season, 3 red cards and 3 goals"

This is the first time ive seen GAMilan optimistic about something

Nice to see they brought in someone younger to help keep the old useless players on the bench. Don't know much about the player, but sounds like a solid move to help with MF depth.

Nocenka must have been pretty good at palermo

To be honest, i was hoping we'd get montolivo. Nocerino on free in 2012. Sign someone like Kucka, Sandro in 2012. MVB and Gattuso likely leave. 2012/13 enter with- aquilani, montolivo, prince, nocerino, kucka/sandro, ambrosini in CM

Are you galliani?

I think most people thought it was a decent signing for 0.5m at the time.

For what we paid for him, and how he performed in his first season , he was a fantastic piece of business for us.

Has someone else been paying his salaries?

Part of them sure... for any loan in the top league the receiving team pays at least part of the salary, unless it's a youngster that gets guaranteed playing time.

That said, Nocerino is not the problem, yes he's far from great and in the game with Mantova I was saddened to see that even his finished has gone down... but the truth is that he's the 7th midfielder. Let's let it sink for a moment what that means. It would be like playing with Donnaruma in goal and expecting him to do great...

The part that worries me is the fact that Nocerino is playing quite a bit. That means that some of our other midfielders are so far behind in their condition that Mihajlovic would rather keep Nocerino who at least can run than put another midfielder. Let's not forget that a pressing game fails easily to accomplish something if not all the players do their job and press the opponent.

It is obvious that Nocerino thought that an Empoli player was running behind him (instead of a Milan player). If you guys want to blame him, blame him for the contribution to the game, not for something silly like this, but I guess there was some bashing quota left unfilled after the victory today.

Its not about bashing anyone. He saw all empoli's players positions in my opinion, it could be nice counter - some milan player was sprinting like crazy from behind and we could exploit situation after interception and we lost this important few seconds for nothing.

It is funny, when I saw it during the game, first instict was to say a curse word but I got what happened and I had a chuckle...

Nocerino is not Xavi to see where ALL the empoli players are ... he felt a player behind him and did what most players would have done in his position when put under pressure. It's true it was a nice counter but nobody has eyes behind the head.
Oh and if you read the previous comments, they were bashing...

Milan midfielder set for MLS move

AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino is set to follow in the footsteps of Nigel de Jong in making the switch to MLS, according to **********.

Nocerino, 30, has dropped completely out of favour this season and his exit now seems a foregone conclusion.

Sinisa Mihajlovic has already offloaded De Jong to LA Galaxy this week and could be set to allow Nocerino join up with former Milan legend Kaka at Orlando City.

LoL... it's more like Mihajlovic read it, but yeah ... I should have said "Jose Mauri" instead of "Donnaruma"...

*hopes that Jose Mauri reads it and bam, becomes a starter... :D *

... this is the second time that things I've said have suddenly have re-surfaced ... a couple months ago someone reminded me of this post from 2013

kucka, poli and one of Honda/Cerci and our team would be so much better than last year. If we can get a great DC that would be the icing.

In retrospect, Cerci and Poli were playing much better at that time, guess I shouldn't quit my job and become a scout anytime soon :D.
