I still believe this. Start of 2026-2027 season Milan will be at least in the top 8 of teams most likely to win the CL.

Just checked the odds for this season and Milan are already 13th.

Man City +250
Liverpool +500
PSG +550
Bayern Munich +600
Real Madrid +900
Tottenham +1600
Chelsea +1600
Barcelona +2000
Atletico Madrid +3500
Juventus +4000
Inter Milan +5000
Borussia Dortmund +5000
AC Milan +6500
RB Leipzig +10000
Ajax +10000
Dinamo Zagreb +10000
Porto +15000
Napoli +15000
RB Salzburg +20000
Eintracht Frankfurt +25000
Bayer Leverkusen +25000
Sevilla +25000
Celtic +25000
Rangers +25000
Marseille +25000
Benfica +30000
Sporting Lisbon +50000
Club Brugge +50000
FC Copenhagen +75000
Viktoria Plzen +100000
Maccabi Haifa +100000
Shakhtar Donetsk +100000

So in 3-5 years we’ll be in the conversation with City, Bayern, Real, Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona and PSG.
I too believe😭😭

Calabria broke my heart. I desperately wanted him to get better and better as the years went by.
It really does appear recently that Calabria has regressed, be it our terrible form or other

Is it possible Bakayoko has had his contract rescinded? Therefore can leave club at another time? What transfer windows in far of places can still happen?

My two nephews, 9 and 10, have become Milan fans because of Leao, Ibra, Giroud, and Theo... and Gullit?

One of them abandoned Chelsea and is a taekwando star (and basketball star) so Ibra is his hero, the other is probably going to join this forum in a few years and write essays about the evolution of striker tactics from Puskas to Haaland. He's a talented player who told me he loves Gullit, apparently FIFA cards has made Milan popular with the youth?

I just bought them shirts, I'm just hoping they miss out on the most recent results though lol.

No no let that pain make them stronger Milan fans :proud:

Can't know happiness without sadness

or we need new scouting and youth departments and become something like Benfica but without selling players too much
Highly doubt this lot would not accept a 50mil offer for a player they developed from 0.

Our scouting department is actually pretty good, Maldini is just xenophobic to non-European players lol

He's coming back from injury and was thrown into the shit show that is our defence... He has his limitations but he's a useful player.

Why we've not put Lulu back at RB and tried Thiaw out more is beyond me???!!!

Paid in 6 installments. With PL money that’s nothing.

Lol to think that Benfica signed him for just 10m last summer :fp:

Meanwhile, Maldini was too busy stalking Renato and couldn't afford Enzo after dropping a 3m fee + 9m gross wages on Shittyoko who never plays

T*ttosport is usually full of shit (like Freddy) but they're BANG ON with the report below about Zaniolo joining this summer...

AC Milan will attempt to sign Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer after missing out on the AS Roma forward in January, a report claims.

As has been reported by ********** (via Milan News), the Italian forward ended up staying at Roma despite his clear desire to leave.

The Giallorossi had accepted an advance from Bournemouth but the player said no as he wanted to join Milan. The Rossoneri proposed a loan for €500,000 with a purchase obligation of €17.5 million plus bonuses should Milan reach the Champions League.

Roma refused this offer, but Milan will try to sign him in the summer as he will then begin the final year of his Roma contract. The Giallorossi may sell him for a reduced fee rather than lose him a year later for free.

Zaniolo has long been clear that he would like to play for Milan in his career and that became very clear during January when they were his priority.

6 months sitting in the stands in Rome should be enough to get him started with his Pioli-ball studies, so we'll see him in the winter/early 2024?

Asking for a friend...

All things considered 18m are maybe 2-3m short of what is possible but not a bad offer.

Guys, what do you think if someone offered Leao 25M because he's on his final year? (With the clear intention of lowballing us because they knew we're in difficult situation)

I think that Zaniolo and Milan already have a deal in place so he's deliberately playing hardball in order to push through the move and reduce the fee as much as possible. 20m plus bonuses should be enough this summer.

I think that Maldini will be forced to accept a lowish Bennacer-esque release fee (c.70-80m) in order for Leao to renew his contract. However, there's a strong possibility that an EPL club offers that amount this summer so we'll be looking for another winger besides Zaniolo.

I'm not a financial expert at all, but this much I think to know: It wasn't Elliott to put own money in Milan and it isn't Redbird now neither. The club runs on its own money. Otherwise we'd be talking about the club increasing equity (never a good sign because the only times I've seen clubs doing this was to provide liquidity to keep the lights on, not to finance a mercato, correct me if I'm wrong) or some dubious fake sponsorship deals like selling the naming rights for Milanello for 150M per year or so.

The personal wealth of Singer then or Gerry now doesn't matter. It was and will never be their own money they are going to put into the club, not even when they bought it.

Elliot paid about 350-400 mil to cover Milan's losses over the time they owned the club, though they got the club for only around 300 mil ( the loan to Li ). Loads of clubs are making losses and the owners have to cover it.

And if you look at Chelsea, they might not make a loss over the next few years as big signings are being amortized over 7-8 years and revenues are growing, but the owners still have to cover the initial outlay for these big transfers. They have multiple multi-billionaire owners in their consortium.

Also loads of big clubs have inflated sponsorships including Juve, Inter and PSG. Juve has a huge sponsorship deal with Jeep which is owned by Fiat which is controlled Exxor ( the holding company for Agnelli family ).

You're writing as if all the clubs are all being run at profit or break even!! Having a rich owner willing to spend is huge, especially for a club that needs to grow fast.

It’s shocking the amount of people openly calling for Maldini and Massara to be sacked. I sort of understand calling for Pioli to be sacked, January was that bad, but why Maldini and Massara?
