Montolivo was a bum - living on the promise of future NT stardom that never arose.
Got what he deserved and revealed himself afterwards
Montolivo would have been a decent back up midfielder. He ain't no starter for a club like milan though.

Poli lmaoooo. Ah good times.

Poli de jong montolivo

Swoon worthy

He had two major surgeries, both right before a big tournament. In fact, it was impressive he even got selected the second time around, broken tibia is no joke

I don't understand the CDK hate.
You hate him because he made a joke that he is now performing in blue and black again, just like he did with Brugge?

You picked on him when he was at his weakest and called him a child for enjoying an ice cream and now you call him a cunt because he shows that he has regained his confidence?

You're the same people who still shit on Montolivo who never said a bad word about Milan even though everyone, from management to coach and fans shat on him daily.

Same people who still adore Ambrosini even when he gave a big FU to Milan and his fans by signing with a, back then, direct rival Viola and talked shit about Milan during every interview as a Viola player.

Forza Charles. Hope you come back next season with a proper coach and shut these fools up.
I dont give a fuck about what he says. As long as he performs for us, it's fine by me. Beggars can't be choosers. We are desperate.

Monto waited out his contract to sign for free for us. Played 2-3 genuinely great seasons and even finished Monto wasn't worse than the finished Biglia we bought for 30m. The hate should go to Biglia, Essien etc first.

I have to admit though. He was one of the few behind the mutiny against Seedorf which started the cycle of banter era

Maybe Muntari on his day.
Rube robbing us of that goal in 2011/2012 season robbed us off a title. Had we won that, maybe ibra and silva could have stayed.

Such blatant cheating lol. Corrupt league. Italians...

Would have been best to keep Allegri though if you go a few months further back.

Why we still looking for a CB?

I get it if "an opportunity shows up" but to spend 30-40M in a winter mercato for a position that we're now fully capable of solving internally?

CBs next season:
Tomori
Thiaw
Kalulu
Simic
Pellegrino
Kjaer
Theo

Do we really need to spend 30-40M on another CB?
I don’t get it either, we are desperate for another midfielder, preferably a DM type

Remind some of the boisterous in here about these tactics when they have issues with other clubs :proud:

But yeah for me I see them as solid seasons, they were never great and blaming his decline on injuries (Curu) is also a reach imho. Yes the injuries did cause decline but I dont think he was some great player before them. He had flashes and some good games.
Totally agree on the other two washed up players , especially Biglia who many in here couldnt stop jerking off to.

For sure, in the grand scheme of things he really wasn’t. I am with you there.

Just that he’s a lot better than certain players people hype nowadays. I like Monty but I can admit to his flaws.

Monty - me is Calabria - Smurf

Hindsight is 20/20. Though that experience has definitely changed me

Allegri was losing the squad though I remember shit like Amelia and Bonera getting into arguments on the bus…

From what I remember the reason for his sacking was more the results though, but could be wrong.

He is still our player so he should watch his mouth, if we sold him outright it is whatever, but talking like that after playing a crap season is not ok. That public behavior towards the employer wouldn't be welcome in any job.

I also have to say I never had a problem with Monto and Ambro only talked after his contract.
If I showed up at Milanello as a tall CF after a great season from a smallish club in Belgium, with a big money high-pressure move, and suddenly the manager decided to play me out of position as a lone attacking midfielder- a role/position I've NEVER played before (and lets be clear, the previous seasons I even played as a LB more than an AM). Then, when things went poorly, I wasn't scoring or assisting, and the team was not hitting the highs that they had the previous season, and the fans used ME as a scapegoat...

Yeah I'd be like "fuck that manager."

I agree that at this point it would be best to just not say anything but he isn't trash talking like Ambrosini either.

It's one thing to shit on a player for his performances but to attack the person behind the player should only be reserved for the pirla/dollarumma/twatuglo type.

You assume nobody told him he would play as CAM which is highly unlikely.
He played as a dropping ST im Belgium, he plays SS, we put him in similar positions and he wasn‘t good enough.
PS: Missing open gosls is not linked to position either

If this PIF sale happens to materialize in the future, I wouldn't rule names like Pep or Klopp for possible coaches. Both are at the end of the runs at their respective clubs.
