To me the best run club in the world by far. the sad part is, we weren’t far behind them 20 years ago, and they haven’t gotten here through ludicrous premier league TV deals either.

I've surrounded myself with quite a lot of football fans over the years. I think of it as a miracle because in this country the sport isn't very popular. Some of those fans cheer for clubs such as Juve or Inter. Champions league is never discussed between us.

We grew up spoilt. CL semis basically every year under Ancelotti. The excitement from last year’s semi finals run… it’s been a long time since I felt that. Even the scudetto didn’t compare for me.
