Fonseca link makes sense.

Coach with experience competing in two tournaments but down on their luck and “looking for right environment to succeed”. This profile is probably best bang for your buck. Basically RLC of managers.

Edit: ok maybe not down on their luck but didn’t live up to the Shakhtar hype but still a solid manager just not an A lister

I understand he did not have a good run on Roma

He inherited the mess Monchi made, plus had to work with a ridiculous amount of injuries on a pandemic. Sadly that means we don't really know how good or bad he is, fanbase is divided.

what would you consider his strengths and weaknesses as a manager? What is his football style?

He's good at imprinting his free flowing attack style on teams, which is effective and entertaining to watch. He could learn to be a bit more flexible during matches, though, since he almost always subs players way too late.

Does he work with big budget?

He didn't here. I think he can work with players on the cheaper end and still manage to make them work with his style.

Does he have good relations with the players, press etc.?

Absolutely yes, he's a gentleman and totally professional. Never any drama.

This sounds like Pioli with hair to me. and younger so might reach Leao better

There are a lot good wingers in europe who doesnt have too cost that much.
We shouldnt rely on Leao so much. Thats the mistake everyone make. Yea just give leao the ball and hope something nice happens..
Thats wrong. You need a complete team, players who wanna fight for each other.
El shaarawy isnt as good as leao, but he played really good for the team.
You dont need a leao or 1 “star” player to win games.
You need heart and a well organized team.
Girona have trash players, but they are 3rd in la liga. Leicester had kinda bad players back in the day, but they won the league.

And you need a coach with an actual vision and plan.

Thats all what we lack.. too many individuals, no game plan, just relying on leao too much.

Id give leao another chance in the pre season with another coach. If he fails, he needs to be sold.

I think the media portrays Furlani to have more power than he actually does because he always willing to open his mouth in front of the microphones. Gerry has come out numerous times to say Ibra is his right hand man. Even Furlani in his last few interviews is acknowledging Ibra’s power.

Odds are Ibra has already decided with Gerry the next coach whether it’s Conte or someone else. You don’t wait until May to start figuring out what you are doing. We’ll find out the name in a few weeks time or maybe sooner if Pioli continues to flail these last few weeks.

It looks like the stadium is reaching the finish line as well. I’m sure we’ll start hearing news of the new investors again. Red Bird isn’t going to finance the stadium on their own. It also seems that investigation who owns the club died down or there was nothing.
