The future is bright.
Fonseca link makes sense.Since Allegri left, the managers we had:
Ex-Players:
Seedorf 11w2d9l 1.59 ppg finished 8th
Inzaghi 14w13d13l 1.38 ppg finished 10th
Brocchi 2w2d2l 1.14 ppg finished 7th*
Gattuso 41w22d20l 1.75 ppg finished 6th, 5th
Flavor of the month/upcoming hype:
Miha 19w10d9l 1.76ppg was 6th when fired
Giampaolo 3w4l 1.29 ppg. 10th when fired
Coach with experience competing in two tournaments:
Montella 33w13d18l 1.75ppg finished 6th, super coppa
Pioli 120w50d46l 1.90ppg. Finished 6, 2, 1, 4*.
Average ppg for each group:
1.47
1.56
1.83
- Rino was definitely one of the better performing managers, overall and not just for ex-players
- no more flavor of the month or ex-player gambles
- John Paul definitely was the worst one, unless you want to count Brocchi’s 7 game stint
I understand he did not have a good run on Roma
He inherited the mess Monchi made, plus had to work with a ridiculous amount of injuries on a pandemic. Sadly that means we don't really know how good or bad he is, fanbase is divided.
what would you consider his strengths and weaknesses as a manager? What is his football style?
He's good at imprinting his free flowing attack style on teams, which is effective and entertaining to watch. He could learn to be a bit more flexible during matches, though, since he almost always subs players way too late.
Does he work with big budget?
He didn't here. I think he can work with players on the cheaper end and still manage to make them work with his style.
Does he have good relations with the players, press etc.?
Absolutely yes, he's a gentleman and totally professional. Never any drama.
100%. And that's why Conte is suddenly not close. In fact I'm sure he is. But the club in hands of mediocre people. Except Ibra.This. I would bet these journalists go to Furlani for any possible news & he leaks what he wants. Furlani and Scaroni push their own narratives in interviews.
more chaosThis sounds like Pioli with hair to me.and younger so might reach Leao better

but we want to take the next step, not become dortmund![]()
We cant have fonsecas or loputeques
We need to find coach who plays 4 3 3 and get him cb dm and cf

Pulisic...........Zirkzee.........Leao
Thanks for giving him another chanceThere are a lot good wingers in europe who doesnt have too cost that much.
We shouldnt rely on Leao so much. Thats the mistake everyone make. Yea just give leao the ball and hope something nice happens..
Thats wrong. You need a complete team, players who wanna fight for each other.
El shaarawy isnt as good as leao, but he played really good for the team.
You dont need a leao or 1 “star” player to win games.
You need heart and a well organized team.
Girona have trash players, but they are 3rd in la liga. Leicester had kinda bad players back in the day, but they won the league.
And you need a coach with an actual vision and plan.
Thats all what we lack.. too many individuals, no game plan, just relying on leao too much.
Id give leao another chance in the pre season with another coach. If he fails, he needs to be sold.
I think the media portrays Furlani to have more power than he actually does because he always willing to open his mouth in front of the microphones. Gerry has come out numerous times to say Ibra is his right hand man. Even Furlani in his last few interviews is acknowledging Ibra’s power.Ibra wants Conte.
Furlani wants another yes man like Pioli.
Things will be decided soon. Unfortunately I think we are going down this mediocre road. Furlani is afraid of Conte and Milan would have to invest into few players.
Lopetegui, Fonseca... all bs coaches not up to Milan needed level.
The sooner Furlani and moneyball f off the better.
We bought them somehow, didn't we?Who will buy them
I glad hearing you shit on fonseca and lopetegui. We cant have fonsecas or loputeques

How is that relate?Just realized the Youth League final is on Monday, right before the Derby.
We could go into the Derby as Youth League Champions:

Still on the menu boys![]()
I dont want this fake spnaish Romanian fodder. And the management are having Julen Lopetegui on their mind who is Pioli's age or a year younger or so. Bitch please.
Bringing in a less established coach means he will not be as demanding as a more successful one because simply he is in no position to demand given his not-so-impressive track record.
But I would still be ok with a less established coach if HE IS A YOUNG COACH. That is it, no other way.
