Its not where you finish - its how you finish
- You know this was positivity's calling card - stats, ppg etc

All the while we are getting humiliated in important games
But what did we expect? Last summer was our biggest spending in 3-4 years and it was after we cashed out on one of our players finally, but even after that we find ourselves with multiple significant holes in the squad.

And regarding Pioli, he’s shown his limitations awhile back. None of these issues we are showing now are issues that all of a sudden crept up on us like some people would like to make it seem. Just conceding on set pieces alone has been a problem for years. This guy is almost 60 years old and never really had luck before us and people expected him to just keep ascending. “But we look worse”: yea, we lost Ibra and Kjaer is done. The younger “leaders” have been content and just shown complacency in big moments

I think given the fact that we are able to achieve second DESPITE Pioli’s limitation and all the issues mentioned above, and that we are able to integrate and raise the values of many new players, it’s a bit laughable to call the overall results a disaster. Going cheap on almost every single metric (even the players we bought are all around 20ish million or so) could have certainly gone A LOT worse.

Our recent history is clear (Seedorf, Inzaghi, Montella, Mihajlovic, Brocchi, Gattuso, Giampaolo, Pioli) ecc.
We will hire another low cost coach with no experience whatsoever and who never won anything in their career, so I'd expect someone like Fonseca or Lopetegui, hell maybe Abate himself.
You get it
People actually thinking we re getting a top coach lol

This is why I hate Silvio. Started watching football in 2006, so for me its been "mediocre Milan" after 2007. Berlusconi buried us and the road to comeback is long. As I said even after this summer we are Dortmund level team

There are far too many to name past & present
I did not. I said he wont do worse then Leao
6 goals in 710min
Leao 7 goals in 2142 minutes. Star player.
Okafor would have score way more goals if he got more chances.

Put your leao glasses off, and face the facts

Eden Hazard went almost a calendar year 356 days to be exact not scoring in the PL. And he was coming off being crowned POTY.

Yes, the road is long, rocky and difficult. At the moment, we may be a team on a par with Dortmund. The difference is, if we continue on our path consistently, we'll be a team at the level of Bayern, Liverpool and Barcelona again at some point. But it will take another two to four years. It can't be accelerated by artificial growth through petrodollars, it has to be natural growth to be sustainable.

The one thing I hope for is that the new coach will be announced asap and this crap won't be dragging on the whole summer like for instance with Maldini getting confirmation and we won't be able to get any players.

Fuck off man. We are not getting any player we actually need. We need to re-evaluate our name first.

Bbbeelan is an appropriate name for us.

Cancel all subscriptions permanently. This steaming pile of shit don't deserve anything. Disgraceful management. Disgraceful team.

Because Milan never take a top coach. After Ancelotti, how many top coaches we had ? Zero. And pls dont call Allegri a top coach.

The board was never good, spending money on a good coach or good staff. The dominance of Juventus back in the day and now Inter says it all
They still live in a delusional world thinking we can unearth a new sacchi/capello by fluke. Those times are long gone. Times have changed but bbeelan haven't.

They always do that with players and im sure will do the same with the coach. They will make the team ready before those friendly matches.

Fuck its Moretto, he is right most of the time.

Lopetegui-Milan theme.

The Spanish coach was a very concrete target since the beginning of February when we spoke about him exclusively.

In the last few hours there have been new contacts between the parties.

At the moment the club is totally focused on Monday's derby but there could be new developments in this regard over the course of next week.

Julen Lopetegui's profile remains among the most popular on the list. -Moretto

It could very well be that his agent just wants to get him into the headlines.

Ok smart ass
Make realistic team please
With these Americans, i dont expect much next season. We probably end up with Abate.
He would be fired mid season, and we get some other mediocre coach back like Fonseca or Lopetegui.

I dont know how the team will look next season, its all speculating. But I dont expect much change tbh.

If we dont sell Leao, Bennacer, Thiaw etc.. we dont have money to spend.
Players who will certainly leave are, Cdk, Saelemaekers and Giroud.. and they arent worth much

Lets hope these are just rumours, i think when the season ends, new names will appear like it happens every transfer window with players.

That’s his problem, we should have moved on last year.
That would have been better.
But he still have one year left on his contract & can sit on it if he is a prick specially if no team wanted him.

No, you can always fire a coach, contract or not. You just have to pay off his contract
I didnt mean he would coach us next year.
But am talking about paying him off.

I really do not understand how this guy could be an option? Fired by Porto. Let go by Spain NT. Fired by Real Madrid. Fired by Sevilla. Let go by Wolverhampton. I mean his trackrecord is clear IMO - hired to get fired.

@Edu-bY-A keep dreaming thinking we re getting a top team with a top coach

It's not about dreaming. It's about you simply ignoring Furlani's statements that we can invest without having to sell players. Our figures confirm his statements.

Our cash flow is now strong and there is no flattening in sight.

We also don't need a "top coach", whatever that is. Alonso wasn't considered a "top coach" 10 months ago either. We need a coach who gets the maximum out of the squad and who pushes the maximum upwards. We also have three to four needs in the squad:

- We urgently need a defensive midfielder

- Another centre-back

- a centre forward

(- a right-back) / (Jiménez?)

If we solve the problems properly, we can fight for the Scudetto and enter the knockout phase of the Champions League.... and that means progress.
