lol i dont know what to say, that policy is so cool, your local lads play for your team,

but you are right in some aspects, free world and all those stuff
anyway italian milan fans and fake italian milan fans will love that concept in milan,
i think a moderate policy should be there like 4 italian players or 5 players from your academy in your starting xi.

It'd b sweet if they did win. But its a policy of a dying generation. Football clubs are no longer just 'clubs'... its big business, and therefor globalization shall happen.

I have a bigger problem with the whole borrowing to buy thing than how many of a certain nationality a team has. I like platini's you can only pay with club revenue, cause it forces fiscal responsibility.

Otherwise its up to a club, IMO if they want to be all spanish or german, they can. Those are internal decisions of the club to decide... Some can take a nationalist policy, others can't.

Following his departure from Roma, Luciano Spalletti could be in the frame to become the new Atletico Madrid manager.

The former Roma and Udinese boss would be tempted with a move to La Liga since Italian rules prevent him from taking charge of another side on the peninsula this term.

The Colchoneros are not doing well at the moment and their patron, Enrique Cerezo, is currently considering all options available.

Spalletti is one of the hottest names on his list, which also includes former Real Madrid Bernd Schuster.

The Italian boss was linked to Juventus over the summer, but since the appointment of Ciro Ferrara the Bianconeri are no longer interested.
