With all the respect for Seedorf, I think he should not be the starter next season.

This season, he has only 3 good matches:
- Away with Marseille, he assisted both goals.
- Chievo, you still remember, right? :D
- MU in San Siro.

Too few, he made an impact only when opponents did not play attention on him. For example, last match against Lazio, he worked quite hard and control the ball well but couldn't do anything. That was a rarely case we see hard-work Seedorf, most of the time we saw lazy one (means bad).

Of course, he still can provide something good, but like Pippo, he passed it. There are some moments they shine, but most of the time, not.

I respect him as a man, but this is the time when he gives up his place for younger one.

We really need another good AMC, true. This season we only got Seedorf. :conf:

The new kid as main starter, Seedof as main backup (lots of subs, and in big games I guess plays more than in small games). Now, keeping Gourcuff would have been perfect.

Yep happy birthday to one of our best players for the last decade.

I agree he should not be a starter anymore, but would make a good sub, especially in important games.

Happy birthday Clarence!

We need to bring in a box-to-box creative CM (preferably with a decent left) to compete with both Pirlo and Clarence, as well as add some depth.
Wow, now i am wishing I no how to watch the bbc broadcast. Insightful commentary really enhances a game, but the normal bad commentary sometimes make me turn the sound off.
Where there is a will, there is a way.

Have to install VLC player (if you haven't already) + download the UKTV.zip file from this site, and vuala ... channels can be selected from VLC's playlist once you have the .xspf file (in UKTV.zip) running on VLC.

No we don't. Not for both Pirlo & Clarance. Just for Pirlo. I want Clarence out. He's 34 now and I've honestly had enough of Milan holding onto players just for the sake of sentiment. Zidane was gracious enough to retire at 34. He had a LOT more to offer then than Seedorf has in the past few years. Seedorf NEEDS to retire, otherwise it will be the same old story. Galliani made a stupid comment about Gourcuff having to compete with Emerson. Is that really who he was competing with though? Wasn't it Seedorf's position that was more suited to Gourcuff? But could Galliani say that in public and hurt the ego of one of our biggest Prima Donnas (maybe that is a little harsh but how many other Milan players nod their head in disbelief when they get subbed? "Can't believe that I the BEST player on the pitch is being subbed"). :head:

I agree with Wet Ones, the club needs to head into a new direction. The players gave a lot to the club but it time to move on. It evident that a lot of these vets don't take to kindly that Leo has bench them or sub them off when they are poor b/c they feel it there God given right. Honestly, if this were another club Seedorf would of probably been gone after the 07 CL.

If we're going to let go of Clarence, then we'll have to bring in TWO creative CMs. One to replace Clarence, and one to give us the depth (and Pirlo the competition) we need. From our current roster of CMs, you'd have to say Gattuso should be the first to go, then Clarence.

Clarence had a decent first half of the season. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have made it to the knockout stages of the UCL. He played a vital role in those big games (away to Marseille + Madrid). After he picked up that injury midway though, he hasn't looked as energetic as he did before. Not as much running, doesn't look in as good shape.

Sadly, I won't be too surprised if it was the kind of injury that does to him what Gattuso's knee injury did to his career.

You can say that about a lot of our squad players. But still he is great to have. :) Seedorf has been important to us this season, and is actually too important by that I mean because we have no alternative for him this season.

please take some shots, shitdorf!!!

Do not try to pass when you free 20-30 meters in front of goal. If you shoot, you can produce corner, deflection, parried away ball from goalie, handball,.. all those good things. And because you are free, very unlikely others are also free, it takes how many attackers to be there to have 2-3 people free when you have 5-7 defending there?
And, for you own sake, stop playing the whole game, you can only play 40-50 minutes, you really sucks after 50 minutes of play

At least he runs when he plays ... i.e. off the ball, to be more specific. Up front, we badly need intelligent movement, and he's the only one providing it most of the time. I guess its because he's still ... hoping and dreaming :proud:

0-45 minutes he is 8, 45-90 minutes, he is 3

he slowed down in attack, and at least 5-8 times turned our golden opportunity into opponent's golden counter attack opportunity.
He should be more decisive in taking shots. Milan is the only team now players will try to pass to others when within 25 meters of goal.

Anyone who helps get more scudetto and CL!
I cldn't watch our last game. I only saw highlights of the seedo-bori combo in that bori's goal bt I knw seedo mst hv been his usual self; active in d begining, cold for d rest of d game.
Great asset for milan all d same. At least he hs something in his head.

It's true he plays best in the first half or when he is a sub in second half because that way he doesn't play the whole game. He has the energy for a half and it would be better to also play him only one half and maybe rotate him Pirlo at that position. Would be the best I think, then both would be fresh and wouldn't need to be overplayed.
