Honestly, I'm lost right now as I don't know where the fuck he's going to go to. So maybe we shouldn't say he's coming to Milan or Inter for sure, but see what happens in the summer.

He's going to follow the money. Milan have a better chance in my opinion with Robinho, Thiago and Pato. PArticularly first two as they are leaders of NT and he's personally close with Robinho.

There's also the KAka factor who will always push him to milan over inter.

That said, if Inter bid considerably more, he's a professional.

The bigger Q is, is he worth 20+ mil? I mean seriously.... he hasn't played a game since august. He had major knee surgery. Sure he'll recover but thats an awful precedent to set. Even then we're talking a guy who performed in paulista for about 6 months. Wonderful technique, but not brasiliero really and not libertadores. On flip side, both Thiago, Robinho and Kaka performed highly in Libertadores before moving to Europe. Not that that's always a sign... thiago neves, diego and elano did too...

Guys i just read today that Ganso's return will be delayed by a month, its not injury related, he just needs the extra time to get sharper, more match fit and what not. He was penciled in to make a return in the first week of March but now as things stand he will be back a month after that.

Will try and find an article on it.

The Brazilian pros [Sven and Australiano1980] should know more about this.

Saw this coming. ACL is a big surgery. It's unlikely he'll be anywhere near top speed before january 2012 honestly.

Most players claim it takes an additional 6-12 months AFTER they started playing ti hit there top fitness levels again. Yeah your knee's recovered initially, enough to play, but the movement, flexibility and explosiveness isn't there. That only comes with training and playing again.....

Point being, don't be surprised if he looks a step slower initially and isn't same. Needs games to get to top fitness...

And yah he's not a 'speed player' but he's now slow either. I'm talking that explosive step players have or the side mobility. Knee takes time..

But the good think is, He is not a speedster so...

And he is more of a head player (vision, Reaction and etc.)

Of course passing and shooting can damage, and dribble but i think he will be ok.

I agree with your post. But, I have to add something to it. For the 6-12 months after the recovery, a major knee surgery also has a lot to do with the mental aspect. It takes some time mentally for a player (in any sport) to be able to not think about re-injuring it. Which will take some of the explosiveness and movement some time to come back. It will take some time for him to get comfortable with it and what not.

Inter doesn't really have a need for Ganso, and IMO he won't develop there because he won't get consistant playing time. If Seedorf leaves (pretty big chance), Ganso won't have to play behind anyone here.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

And ofcourse Seedorf is going to leave, not to sound bad or something but I really think he is going to leave. How big is the chance we are going to renew his contract?

And even if Seedorf stays and renews his contract and Ganso come, Ganso would still be the first choice. In Inter he would ruin his career.

Brazilian midfielder Ganso has been attracting the attention of Europe's elite, and now claims that he is certain to be moving to the San Siro to play for Milan or Inter in the summer.

Ganso is attracting attention fron Italy.
Ganso, 21, has been linked with a host of Premier League teams, but says that he is ready to move to Italy to take the next step in his career.

"Next season I will play in Milan," the Santos star told Corriere dello Sport. "Leonardo often calls me because he wants me to go to Inter Milan. Leo is a wonderful person. He has been a great player and I wish him much success as a coach.

"I respect him very much personally. Inter Milan are a great club and everyone would to play there. They have a fantastic team and their latest victories are the proof of that."

However, Ganso also claimed that Inter's city rivals had been in contact and would be happy to play for Serie A's league leaders as well.

"My agent also told me of interest from AC Milan, which is a great club too,'' he added. ''I'm ready for Italy, I'm ready for this challenge. Winning titles with Santos and playing in the Brazilian national team have strengthened me as a footballer."

Ganso claims Santos have put a €50million price tag on his head, but thinks that it will not provide a stumbling block to his future move.

He added: "The valuation of €50million made by Santos is unrealistic in the market but I'll leave the matter in the hands of my agents who know how to solve the problem with the president of Santos.

"My greatest dream is to win the Libertadores Cup this season with Santos and then move to a top European club, perhaps in a major Italian team. If I have the opportunity to play in a big club, I won't disappoint."

it sais corrierre delo sport claims milan have already signed him but Ganso denies it saying he has a contract with Santos till 2015.

If he claimed he did, he'd likely get suspended by fifa, it is illegal....

Someone said that Ganso is split on three parts and someone very very close to Milan management owns 33%. Crudelli (for whom I think is also close to Milan man.) didn't deny it. I thought it was like that: DIS-45%, player himself-10% and Santos 45% or something like that
