Maldini, Shevchenko, Kaka, Bierhoff, Weah, Savicevic, Boban, Zidane, Raul,
Christian Abbiati - I really don't remember that he did anything wrong whole season. He saved everything that he was able to save, and did really good job whole season.

Thiago Silva - Simply perfect season from him. He played as a defender and as mindfielder as well, and on both positions he was just great. Having just one yellow card the whole season long is beyond me!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Although he wasn't at his best lately, he did great at the beginning and middle of the season. Scored some really important goals and had some great assists.

Honorable mentions:

Ignazio Abate - being very consistent whole season. He never was our main player on the field, but he never did anything badly wrong (except the red card at the Derby). He is still young and improving on his new position as a RB.

Alessandro Nesta - great at some games, sadly not so good at some others. He was also injured and skipped some very important games. Luckily that didn't cost us top of the table.

Pato - had some bad games, and had some incredibly good ones. Still improving and finally he started playing good alongside Ibrahimovic. Although I think Ibrahimovic made greater impact this season, Pato is the future for the team.

Mark van Bommel - been here a couple of months and making a great impact on the middle of the field. Unfortunately he was unable for CL knock-out matches. I hope he renew his contract for at least one more season.

I voted 4 Bommel, Ibra and Silva.

I really believe if we hadnt bought Bommel, we wouldnt win serie a considering the injuries we had after the winter break.

Voted for T. Silva, Ibra and Pato. If there was a fourth, I would 100% have said Abbiati.

Tough decision, the whole team did a great job, but certainly there are always some outstanding players. Won't vote now, I'll do it when the season is over.

PROLIFIC TRIO

Apart from Milan, no other team in Serie A boasts three players with at least 10 goals to their names. Rossoneri forwards Ibrahimovic (14), Pato (14) and Robinho (12) have combined for as many as 40 goals so far this season. Milan finished only 8 out of 34 of Serie A games without any of them getting on the scoresheet.

In the 2010-2011 season, Milan have played as a team, sharing all kinds of responsibilities, including scoring. In fact, the Rossoneri don’t need to rely on one player’s output as they have three prolific strikers in the squad: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Pato and Robinho are all in the top 10 of the Serie A scoring chart with 14, 14 and 12 goals respectively.

Their total of 40 goals includes 6 braces (4 from Pato and 1 each from Ibra and Robinho), which means that the Milan trio - especially Ibra and Robinho - spread their goals out relatively evenly instead of scoring in bunches. Milan finished only 8 out of 34 of Serie A games without any of them on the scoresheet.

SERIE A 2010-2011
MATCHES WITH IBRA, PATO OR ROBINHO ON THE SCORESHEET

Number of matches: 26
19 Wins - 6 Draws - 1 Losses

SERIE A 2010-2011
MATCHES WITHOUT IBRA, PATO AND ROBINHO ON THE SCORESHEET

Number of matches: 8
3 Wins - 2 Draws - 3 Losses

There have been four games in which both Ibra and Robinho scored: Napoli-Milan 1-2, Milan-Brescia 3-0, Bologna-Milan 0-3 and Catania-Milan 0-2;

In three matches both Ibra and Pato: Milan-Palermo 3-1, Milan-Udinese 4-4 and Milan-Napoli 3-0;

On two occasions both Pato and Robinho: Milan-Chievo 3-1 and Chievo-Milan 1-2.

Both Pato (a brace in the derby on April 2) and Robinho (goals in Milan-Sampdoria 3-0 and Brescia-Milan 0-1) have struck twice in the second half of the championship with Ibrahimovic sitting out.

OptaPaolo had a stat - 5 red cards, 4 wins and 1 draw(Bari).

Comebacks are great but this is equally telling.

i went for defensive solidity which was a crucial feature this season.. that helped us be more dominant at the front.. so my votes went to Silva-Nesta and van bommel

1. thiago silva
2. christian abbiati
3. zlatan ibrahimovic

i pick those three because it's obvious to everybody the consistency of silva and abbiati, both have been great all season.
For ibra, he has helped us a lot also despite his recent " MUTTERING TO HIMSELF" that cost us in few matches but all the same he has tried.

in no order... Silva, Binho and Prince because they have been the spine of the team when others have come in and out and had dips in form

Regardless of goals or clean sheet for me these three have been 3 of the most consistent players, but they have raised their games as well with Binho and Prince proving many wrong.

We've played consistantly at a level which has for the most part been better than our opponents, now we need a couple of players to lift us to that next level. From Abs in goal through MvB and Dorf in the middle to Ibra and Pato up front we've seen most players contribute to this seasons triumph.

Where last year we didn't know what Milan team would turn up, this term we've been solid, balanced and efficient, next term I believe we'll see another step forward with new players... Plus the fact that the team now knows one an other and the managers thoughts :)

Forza Milan

Seriously, How the fuck did you guys forget to include Il Capitano Ambro in the poll?

Will anyone give a valid answer as to the reason why?
