hey mr. super fan, why don't you support your player who's struggling instead of hating on him ;)

yes, you're a bastian of support for robinho last year, abate, gattuso/ambro/seedorf/pirlo in the past, and i could go on.

so much love

is it possible for pato to wear a full-bodysuit made out of cotton insulation underneath his jersey on the pitch?

at least for his first few games back?

I am not a big brasilian fan :o

I want pato to perform in clutch time .. last shot last opportunity  setting him to succeed or maybe he wont even finish that 2 minutes on his two legs

direct your hate at milan lab, they made him add muscle and 99% of his injuries have been muscle related :) he was always fit before they made him bulk.

and btw, I'd like to remind you of pato's performance over arguably the 2 biggest games in the 2nd half of the scudetto season, inter and napoli.

thankfully there is no last shot or last opportunity, galliani is getting sick of entire team getting injured and hopefully he'll fix it or fire some people.

I never claimed or will claim to be a super fan and ask people to support milan and the players, that's the difference between me and ashish :D

its that i would have him on trading block if he doesnt deliver 20 goals this season period I dont care he goes to inter and become their pirlo or something

Its just not happening.. his salary is very high for a dude who has been under performing for a long time.

I dont have any special reservation towards him .. I rate pazzo and bojan to start above him, if pato can fight back and win the number 9 position . respect  otherwise stay on the bench no special treatment(oh well ilan lab).

healthy competition
if pato starts i want abates jersey to be retired :o for being defensive god as a RB

I'd get the hate if it was performance related, but you're hating on a guy who can't play right now

hates not towards him its towards the asset we have which is so unreliable and takes in lot of cash flow, controversies and need to be treated as something special.

his body of work is not impressive to make him criticism proof on this issue.
If pato goes to another team and perform well I will be happy for him but if he doesnt hit 20 goals injury or not this season, i want him on the trading block

whenever he played he seemed to be regressed

Ronaldo in inter but ronaldo before injury had done more than pato could or most other strikers could do in their entire time.

He is not solid asset, i wont mind us treating him fairly like we treated redendo but barbara thing just messes everything up

I love Pato but you cant really believe that. Pazzini in his first start did something Pato still hasnt (and Pato has had countless opportunities to have 3 and 4 goal games).

Give him time to get up and running and prove he can be a consistent goal machine before you declare him that.

From our current team was my point, Pato is the best scorer. Pazzini did look good, but come on, right place right time. And sure, is that a skill........... debatable.

Pato vs inter, barca, madrid, chievo napoli etc. He does it when he is fit. And these are all games that have helped the club, either in the public eye, or in the league.

I know Pato being injured is of no use to the club, but when it comes down to it, would any of us rather have a 23 year old with these stats who when plays is deadly?
Or would we rather have 4 more constant/nocerinho/urby/muntari type players?

I know that in my train of thought, having Pato adds hope to the team, and possibly a world class player. Even if he doesnt play, having him makes me feel like the club still has hope.
For the money we would get..... say 20 million, who could add such hope?

no one.

It's difficult to have faith in his potential escape from the rut he's in.

For one, he's injury prone, but that's something he doesn't have complete control of. You've got your Van Persies and your Robbens who still manage to make a significant impact for their respective clubs.

The thing that worries me the most, to be honest, are the factors that prevent him from getting passed this rut. With a medical team that is notorious for their incompetence, how can we possibly imagine his triumphant return.

I can totally see the club finally getting tired of all this, someone else buying Pato, and seeing him fulfill greater things than he ever did here. Which would be a huge fucking blow.

I know for a fact that 70% of football fans are as fickle as it gets but its on another level on this forum.. I dont get the hate on Pato at all... Its not his fault that he gets injured, No player is happy on the sidelines.. This is a player that has a fantastic Goal/Match Ratio for Milan... Without the injuries he would have been in the top 5 strikers in the world by now. Milan Lab is to blame for all these nonsense, Players are steadily getting injured and the Admin is doing nothing about it.. Bojan is not on Pato's level at all... The Only Striker that can be compared to a 100% Season long FIT pato is Cavani. Pato converts 3 put of every 5 chances he gets which is a rarity these days. I just pray he gets fit through out the season and we can appreciate the kind of player he is.

There is a sort of romantism linked with Pato that every Milan fan experiences. I believe that a lot of the "hate" Pato receives is pure frustration about his absense. I must admit that I was one of many that hoped for his departure one year ago but I am also aware of that I would miss the feeling of expecting him to become a world class player with consistency

Criticism is good to some extent. But when some of us "fans" keeps ranting away at players and the staff we forget that its very much like antifan behavior.

In Pato we trust (because we must)

This is the key. When he plays. How can you rely on someone like this. Is Playing 5 games in a season good enough? Even if he plays like maradona:-)lol:) its a waste . I want 30 games from my striker pls. Would much rather play pazzini on a regular basis. He might get close to 20 goals

Falcao would give me hope too :proud:

Anyway I get what you're syaing, and a fit Pato is worldclass, no doubt. He just has to man up and stop being such a wus, at brazil he played many games without injuries, so why not at milan.
Hope one day he manages to be fully fit for a longer time and show the world how good he really is, cuz Pato has everything a wc striker needs.
I still have faith in this guy.

I know it isnt good enough, but it was one season where he didnt play. If this one is the same, then even I cant argue against his potential sale.

But the season has just begun, and we dont know what will happen. So lets hope this next return is the start of his climb to the top.

actually what's highly debateable is thathe's a better goal scorer than pazzo. He's more technically gifted. Capable of more spectacular... doesn't make him better.

you forget to point out, pazzo has had 3 seasons where hes scored more goals than pato's BEST season.

you forget to point out, pato's best season, where he scored 15... he had the worlds 2nd most technical midfield (and it's debateable if it was #1).

Pato had kaka, pirlo, beckham, seedorf. That had it's defensive shortcomings which is why we didn't win titles but it's ability to create is unquestionable.

Pazzo on the otherhand scores a hat trick with NO ONE who touches any of those 4 technically or vision wise in midfield. why? Because he is a fight and yes that is a skill. He knows how to move around the box.

Pazzo scored goals more regularly on 2 teams which were FAR less technical than anything Pato has played with.

My biggest pet peeve in the world, is people dismissing pippo, higuain, falcao, and strikers who understand proper box movement, positioning, and reading of the game off ball as 'luck'

IMO this is the most important skill of a striker and hardest to learn. Much harder than 'decisive pass'

edit- Pato has 'the talent' to be the best forward on the team. He's not their yet. Now, the question is, what indiciation has he given you he'll ever get there? His attitude is disgusting, imo. Really little commitment, little respect for the club, little work ethic. Mostly, he seems immature as fuck. He needs to fucking earn it, and not be given a starting spot 'for politics'

So you don't agree with the guy who said in the Olympics thread that we don't need Damião cause we already got Nocerino to score lucky goals?

Make or break season for him. Just hope he makes it. I'm still pretty sure he'll make it with a coach/trainer who gives players freedom. Like pep and carlo, unlike allegri or mourinho

Oh what am I saying ... Carlo ruined his career :fp:

"A few injuries? No sex"
Napoli doctor reveals secret

No sex before matches. And 'this, according to Dr. De Nicola, doctor of Napoli, one of the secrets to avoid accidents. "Avoid intercourse in the two days before the races is essential to prevent tearing, twitching or muscle inflammation - told the Corriere del Mezzogiorno -. For our is a rule." And the numbers seem to bear him out. The Naples, in fact, is one of the teams that suffered less injuries.

In detail, the analysis of doctor is much wider and also covers nutrition, sleep and even habits in private life. Always eat at the same times, eating organic foods, do not use alcohol and sleep the hours needed help to avoid sudden stops, "said Dr. De Nicola. Actually, however, prevention is the result of a complex teamwork." there is a whole work that my staff shares with the technical staff and the trainers, which relates mainly to the prevention as well as healing, "said the doctor.

lol giovinco and young are not that fast, not worthy of comparing with pato anyway. fast players in serie a are pato, bibiany, edgar alvarez and (lavezzi when he was here). i would put pato on krasic, bale, valencia level, which is genuinely fast but slightly below freakishly fast players like walcott, lennon abate.
