Yeah, for me too. I always wondered whether it was more Allegri forcing him out or more Galliani offering him an insignificant duration in contract. Now I know it's the former.

Massimiliano Allegri has a lot of control in Milan. Far more than the other coaches I've seen. I hope Allegri gets his act right next season.

What I dont understand is why at some occasions played Aqua as DM, albeit not from the start, because that left us in a situation which I presume Allegri doesnt want: A deep lying playmaker whos best attribute is not defending.

Also this pretty much confirms Allegri wants runners and not much creativity in our midfield. This sort of mindset has cost us dearly in some games

Load of crap am afraid implying that running and creativity cant go together. Allegri wanted hamsik, the perfect man combining work rate and creativity instead he got... whatever it is he got.

Either you fully back your coach or you dont, When allegri didnt want pirlo , sure G ensured he was offered a way out. But FFS also give him what replacement he asked for . How is replacing pirlo with nocerino/muntari/emmanuelson going to improve the team? It just shifts the problem from one area to another. G :fp:

What I meant was that Allegri prefers the albility to run rather then being able to be create. There must be a balance of course, but that is not the case atm

I completely understand what allegri wants for his midfield, and I do like what he was planning for, but he needs to realize that won't work out with galliani in charge.

allegri wants a fast dynamic team, a play maker who's modern and not old school who's physically crap like pirlo, or slow like seedorf.

unfortunately, all he got was aquilani :fp:

I still think rat face allegri has a lot of issues though :o

It cannot be a coincidence that Poli's is just missing an 'R' from his name.

is that you dan brown?

Pirlo: "During a long season injury problems can occur, but I believe that they should change something in the preparations at Milanello."

Pirlo: "Milan decided that I was no longer useful to them. I understood that immediately during our meeting." -->

--> "Allegri wanted to use other players in my position."

via @Milanello

Pirlo: "Almost all of my former teammates at Milan sent me text messages congratulating me on winning the Scudetto."

Pirlo: "During the season, many of my former teammates have said that they could feel my absence, but I'm happy. I won."

Pirlo: “Allegri wanted to play van Bommel or Ambrosini in front of the defence. I’d have to change role. I said ‘No thanks’ + joined #Juve

Pirlo on Conte: "From a tactical and instructive point of view he’s even better than Ancelotti and Lippi." Woah #Juve

Pirlo on Conte: “He’s a great coach. I’ve had many, but no one as meticulous in their work and as good at explaining things as him." #Juve

All quotes via @Jameshorncastle

Allegri :fp:

if he thought he was getting cesc or hamsik then he is a bigger idiot than all of us commoders combined. Him and G were trolling everyone so he knew what he was getting.

I have a sudden vision of Allegri visiting the Commode every day and convincing himself that Galliani would buy him Patosheva's targets.

Who knows, he might even be taking printouts of Commode posts and going to Galliani with that.

"But Adriano... SKY says.."

Don't be naive. Allegri knows about everything. Maybe he didn't when he first joined, but 4 transfer windows later, he should know whats up. Of course, Milan is also paying him good money to do his best with whats at his disposal, but I think he made an error underrating Pirlo's value to a side.

Don't blame him either as Pirlo needed to vacate that holding role with any formation involving a midfield three. And since Allegri seems uninterested in trying anything other than a 3-man central midfield, and Pirlo thought he was best utilized at anchor, it was a good parting of ways.

I hope the motherfucker said something about Nesta :o

Full article- no mention of Nesta. Interview probably took place before Sandro announced his decision otherwise i dont think the reporter would have missed the chance to ask about his best friend leaving Milan.

Well clearly his vision and control of a game is not underrated because he just won a scudetto and had an undefeated season where he led league in assists.

He's done this type of stuff for a decade.
He ?
We are going in circles in this argument.
But do tell me if today you ahd an option to chose one midfielder to bring from Juve will it be Pirlo ?
Dont give me no usual "pirlo" excuse like we should bring him & bring x player & y player so he can do shit , just straight answer , one player.
For me I would certainly chose Marchisio & followed bu Vidal.
Last season no Pilro = title - best defense - best attack.

Xavi at hisworse never played with a static or narrow team like Pirlo.

regardless of whether xavi is better or not, he simple hasn't played in this team and you know it.

What would xavi do with seedorf infront of him and ambrosini/gattuso beside him and no width or proper forward sans kaka?
Well , since its speculations then I say if Xavi played with a shit squad then he will bag 137 assists & 89 goals.
Its speculations & am allowed to make mine.
But players in real world are not judged that way , its how they perform regardless.
Xavi's worst are higher than Pirlo's & Xavi's high are again higher than Pirlo's & much more consistent.

On a side note , the shit that Pirlo keep saying in the press are just
Conte > Lippi ?

What has Marchisio to offer that we dont already get in the team? Maybe you should ask the juventus fans who watch every game who has made so much difference to their team. One look at their pirlo thread will give u the answer :proud:

Whats good for them is far from being good to us.
We have done Pirlo , we had him & the result was 4-5 years of average performance so I dont want that road again.
He was injured last season & we won a long waited title , thats how much we need him :o
On the other hand , Marchision & Vidal are modern midfielders that can play any role providing both defensive & attacking duties.
I will leave the Juve forum for you , its you destiny.

Hope so.

Otherwise, he was just being a Zebra ass. Honestly, Nesta is leaving Milan and you don't mention it? What kind of shit is that? :o

I'm already genuinely pissed about him not tributing the Scudetto to Nesta, Pippo, Clarence and fucking Gattuso ... the man who had his fucking back

Maybe i mis-read your post. Ofcourse Vidal will create instant impact in the Milan team(not sure if marchisio will improve us) but you cannot discredit pirlo's role in juve 's triumph. He has been their best midfielder, hell even their best player probably.
