Easily his best game of the season. Tidy on the ball, almost scored and an excellent handball XD

I loved when he was at the sidelines around the 80 min mark and got the crowd going, he's no monty in terms of technique but I have nothing but respect for this man.

He plays like shit, gets benched, earns another try, plays like shit, gets benched, earns another try, performs like this. The fact that he keeps getting benched and still wants to come back shows his mentality. He doesn't say shit to the media except good things, he doesn't whine - he just works hard. Pato should take notes.

I like this 3 man midfield, De Jong sitting in front the back 4 allows Montolivo more space up the pitch and Noce's running was great today

Can we please return to appreciating him now? Very limited player, but wears his heart on his sleeve. Always welcome in the team. His attitude is perfect. Hardworker, selfless, and passionate. These are REAL MEN that win you games, not posers like Vidal :lol::lol:

Nocerino made them shit their pants today, was responsible for the penalty as well and overall a great offensive asset. Grande Noce!

Nah but this is Noce, and always will be. Obviously he looked better today since everyone stepped up a level or two and that does affect his performances (and he put in a little more fire in his performance, which is IMO the one thing I can demand of him). But game wise...this is what he is.

Noce is what he is: a technically weak player who busts his ass on the pitch and doesn't complain when he gets benched. I've never seen a footballer run as much as Nocerino does, and he seems to never be fatigued. He is capable of playing at an average level at most positions in the midfield; IOW, he is a great backup. Plus, he has a crazy beard.

Great game, he usually plays good versus good opponents. Lots of haters in this thread beforehand, maybe they are less noisy now?

Good game from Noce, really laid it on the line. I love that type of dedication :proud:

Umm, yes you have. Noce averages ~11,5km a game(source:UEFA.com), which is pretty average for a B2B midfielder(Monto runs about the same) and IIRC less than SES' average. I've never seen him reach 13km, unlike with Flamini(against Anderlecht). B2B players like Vidal and Marchisio make Noce look lazy.

Yeah, Noce runs more up and down on the field than let's say, Monto, but he also spends surprisingly little energy on tackles, pressure(yup) and dribbles.

There goes the myth

His 'tirelessness' is only visible because of the remarkable headless nature of his running

he was decent against juve, if he builds up on this he can start games until Milan sign a proper CM.

True he is not the best techincal player, but that's not his role. Montolivo beat Pirlo at his own game and De Jong was there to break up play. He had a good game versus Juve, and if he keeps it up he deserves his place. Boatang is lacking confidence and seemed very indecisive on the ball, so if we're gonna drop anyone I'd drop him for pazzini

I think he is a great squad player to have that is a good spot starter but shouldnt be a major player

This is my opinion aswell. Great squad player to have, but not the quality you want as a starter in club like Milan.

He would be better if he would tackle. I have never seen a DM or MF that does not tackle at all or does it sporadically.
