Comparing Nocerino to Lampard

Jesus

Atleast Lampard was a brilliant midfielder who also happened to be a poacher

Are you seriously comparing Nocerino to Hamšik, Lampard and Marchisio?

Better than people who compare him with defensive midfielders. I didn't say he was better than any of them, just listed other midfielders whose game is based on intelligence and movement, yet people rate them highly while Nocerino is branded 'useless'.

I think nocerino would score like 15 goals if he played for jube, I'm serious.

No doubt about it. Ibra alone made Noce score 10.

Well, for one thing they are actually intelligent to beginwith

Just because he gets in good positions once in a while doesnt make him 'intelligent'. The fact that he is a complete FAIL of a midfielder says otherwise

Pretty much. That's what I ask of all players, to give their best. Nocerino always does that, therefore I respect him.

I can respect that too, which is why I respect and like Flamini, but I don't like his low prioritization of the defensive work. What I also don't like is how he has fooled people into thinking he runs more and works harder than others. Now that can make measured in kilometers and stats, though I'm not just basing it on that.

Lampard made a career out of it. Hamsik, Marchisio, et al are doing the same now. Don't see why when it's Nocerino it's nothing special.

Was poaching also nothing special? Did you think Pippo, Crespo, Vieri, etc were average?

Umm, there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding here. I don't dislike B2Bs who score a lot. If anything, it was implying that if we really need a B2B who can get into goal scoring positions then they aren't that hard to find and it shouldn't be too hard finding someone more talented than Noce.

I also don't think what he does is exceptional or difficult to teach.

Comparing him with Pippo; Crespo etc is just ridiculous, let alone with talented midfielders.

lampard made a career out of it? come on man...he's way more than just a CM poacher.

marchisio is a polished version of nocerino, he looks much better because he has better players around him with a proper system, he was nothing special when juve just came up/ were shit.

If Marchisio is just a polished version of Nocerino then Aguero is a polished version of Zarate.

he's a better version of nocerino, but he's a complimentary player, only as good as the players and system around him.

I miss the days where he would have a total of 5 good games a year:lol:...damn he was average as fuck.

The same could be said about a lot of players, especially B2Bs. Doesn't make them polished versions of Nocerinos.

Are you kidding me? Lampard is great at the first pass. Do not compare him with noce. this is a man with no skill with the ball.

It's possible. But then they would also concede more because Noce needs to take a lot of risks to score as much as Marchisio.

No way Conte would tolerate that though.

They're a great unit.
Shit without Vidal, shit without Marchisio and shit without Pirlo.

It did piss me off though that we didn't buy him.

Have to agree with most of what has been said already. It really was like playing a man down today with him on the pitch. That's not to say he is completely useless, but in games where we need to defend solidly or keep possession it's better that he does not play.

Vidal is a cunt on the pitch and that's one of the reasons I want him here.

i was talking about him off the field

Considering how cunts have so far worked out wonders for us (Ibra, Van Bommel, Mexes, Boateng, De Jong, Robinho) etc...I would take a cunt Vidal a 1000 times over a useless Nocerino

Our management's cheapness saw us lose out on him

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Leverkusen themselves confirmed that we were the first ones to bid for Vidal (10m) but they rejected it after we refused to increase our bid by 2m

We basically handed Juve their team on a platter

First with letting Pirlo go on a free

Then passing up the chance to sign Vidal despite his abilites being clearly evident in the World Cup

And then refusing to negotiate for Asamoah despite Allegri wanting him

Not to mention choosing Traore over Pogba

I don't blame him. This player certainly has his limitations. Keeping that in mind, our coach should chose whether to play him or not. I don't see you guys nagging on Mesbah now a days, and yes I consider his caliber equal to Mesbahs. What the fuck Allegri was thinking considering him as a regular starter.:fp:

Please don't give me the crap of we don't have anyone to play as LCM.

Allegri didn't consider him as a starter. We found 4-2-3-1 formation and got better results, Nocerino stuck on bench. But suddenly Berlusconi visited Milanello. We swapped to 4-3-3. Noce started to play regularly, Urby played in midfield and even defense, Boateng as a striker. Сoincidence? No doubts, Berlusconi motivates players but his intervention in tactical issues harms Milan
