Go to the Roma vs Milan thread and look at the positioning of the players from Gazetta. Nocerino completely exposed the midfield, he was as advanced as Robinho and SES. He left a big hole in the midfield and it effectively turned the formation into 4-2-4. Shit player. GTFO.

B) The times when people do pass to Nocerino on one of his runs, he either can't control it or makes idiotic pass and lose the ball. So this point is invalid.

C) You serious? Monto had the highest number of tackles in that game covering for De Sciglio. Ambro sucked no doubt, but for sure Nocerino left them exposed for counters. While contributing NOTHING on offense and leaving your team exposed defensively, surely that has to count for something.

No, Nocerino isn't fodder like Mesbah or Traore. But he is an EXTREMELY limited player who isn't great technically or tactically. He is an energy player and deserves playing time but not the amount allotted to him presently. I don't HATE him, but I wish he would stop starting for us.

He was obviously one of the reasons we didn't get another starter material CM this summer, the idiot management/Allegri saw him as a starter.
Most of the goals he scored last season were in games we were very likely to win anyway, while his shittyness at doing what normal CMs do played a big part in the way we fucked up in many games this and last season, especially the last part of last season.

I'll give credit where credit is due though; he's usually very good against Juve. He really gives his all in those games, doesn't cheat with the defensive work and looks more motivated than usual. .

Anyway, coach defines player's functions on the pitch. If Nocerino plays like a poacher in midfield than it's definitely Allegri's decision. Maybe he's trying to use his strongest sides but it doesn't work. He could change something, but nothing happens, Nocerino plays like a Forward from the beginning to the end. All he can do is substitute him. So it's coach's fail not player's. If it's player makes all he wants on the pitch, even worse
