Is Ramos any good? I seldom watch Madrid matches and his rather pornstar-ish appearance is offputting.

Ramos is an excellent player. Versatile as well and can play CB and RB equally well. Was one of the best RB's in the WC for me and he kept up his good form for Real.

Ramos seems to play inherently better for Spain than Madrid, but as he matures his class will be evident on all stages. Staying in Spain for Madrid is the wise choice for him.

He won't ever be near the best, but he is ok (and can improve, since he is pretty young), at least 5 times much better than the likes of Bravo and Pavon.

I don't think Ramos will leave Real Madrid, they aren't stupid, he has the makings of a really great player. Only problem is he is still coming to terms with his strength and size, he got sent off five times last season but I think that can be mended. With regard to his porn star appearance I would have thought that would have made him fit right in at Milan.

Ha! His conversion from Center Half to Fullback has gone rather well so far. He's got a pretty decent cross (Barca, anyone) + is decent in the air at the opposite end. His only shortcoming is his pace, which although maybe more than what Cafu has left in his tank, isn't really up to Zambrotta (the benchmark) standards. Eboue's a better choice by miles in my book.
