PS. I miss talking Clarence.
Hm. I don't :D But you're right, we set a bad example with our continued off topics.

I was hoping Pupone would show up + post sth of common interest. Or sth.

Is this the Clarence thread? I scrolled over the pages for all of your conversation & this seemed to be the 'Passion being nice' thread.

@ Pupone: Don't be sad man, at least they are giving more posts to the Clarence thread ;)

I'm quite pleased actually + don't think you're out of character here ;) After his equalizer, I guess ole Clarence deserves a few pats on the head from desirable female acquaintances :D

PS. Told you he was going to have a word in the result :D

You did ? :o So he scored against some Serie B side -- hardly that noteworthy, or else Pupone would have camped out in this thread today + we'd never hear the end of it

I Dont blame him + you shouldn't really bring it up after the red sofa :D I'm pretty sure girls like looking at guys (on the inside) as much as we like looking at you (on the inside, of course)

Isn't that a U Cluj avatar? I though you where suporting CFR. :conf:

Yes it is. I haven't picked out a side yet. I have friends from both sides (who are also friends, btw ;) ) and have been warned that I shouldn't postpone my decision much longer, else I'll be caught in the middle of some serious loyalty issues. So far I've been able to brush the topic away with my Milan-babble that most are quite tired of by now. Either way, being relatively new + yet to see U have a quality side, I'll reserve my loyalty to all things non-Bucharest ... and preferably closer to home

Why do you jump to his defense when he wasn't even there ?

Sth that will delight you more than the red sofa + the object ( ) draped all over :

La Gazzetta article on Ancelotti's new tactical modifications (4-4-1-1)

Il timone sarà nelle mani di Seedorf. L'olandese seguirà l'ispirazione e con i suoi movimenti modificherà il modulo: Clarence può giocare dappertutto.
translation :
The rudder will be in the hands of Seedorf. The Dutch will follow the inspiration (or sth) + with his movements will modify the module: Clarence can play everywhere.

Since we tried the negative approach, I thought he might fall for the positive one  Oh Pupone, look what you've done ...

LOL ... the rudder? I guess his header means that he can play as a striker now. I have to admit, they are blowing the Juve victory out of proportion for all the wrong reasons. I though B. was dead against the idea of playing with a lone forward ...

Il mio italiano sucks. Maybe I should have said steering wheel... or sth.

I guess it just means Kaka' will be our support striker + Seedorf our proper classic # 10 'playmaker'

Dude should have written the brake pedal will be manned by Seedorf, not the steering wheel or whatever 'timone' means :o

Well, I'm guessing A.'s trying to crowd the midfield + rely on a Kaka' + Clarence partnership to create something going forward. There are a few positives from this though ... Brocchi being guaranteed a starting place + Gila or Oli playing lone upfront (which they both said they preferred). Crowding the midfield also makes us harder to break down.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the 'new' system works ... either way, my money's on it being more successful than the 4-3-1-2 (Clarence, Pirlo, Gattuso; Kaka; Oli, Gila).

So, back on topic ... is my sig growing on you?

Oh don't get fooled by red sofas, I do know a little bit about tactical systems incl. the revived 4-4-1-1 which is supposed to give us more options, + I've never objected to it as a whole (only to NoGoliveira upfront :o ) nor to Brocchi's promotion. What I do find difficult to accept is Ancelotti holding on to Pirlo - Seedorf , who have seriously sucked + if anything are a guarantee for slow buildup play. But to even reward Seedorf by promoting him to his 'secret dream position' is a bit beyond my grasp, admittedly.

Do you really wanna know ? I turn my head slightly to the right + close my left eye every time I read your posts to make sure the eyesore doesn't enter my field of vision  I disposed of the sofa, I think it's your turn now to get rid of your junk ;)

Who doesn't? :D

That's the Chipolopolo's (Zambian NT) logo ...

Admittedly, Pirlo + Seedorf do slow the game a bit  , but we'll gain tons defensively with Gattuso and Brocchi in the middle. So I think it's a good change + Seedorf and Kaka do have some sort of chemistry going on ... much more so than Kaka and Oli.

Nice, not really into blondes (although there are exceptions :D ) ... don't really get the fuss why everyone's turning blonde ... worst of em all is arguably PSV's Kone

Well, be it 4, 5 or 6 matches, let's just hope Clarence (under the unfluence or not) lights up the pitch at the right time ... 2nd Celtic leg all the way through to the final would suite me just fine :D

^^ Think what you may, but Pupone and I have very little in common ... and that's the beauty of a player like Clarance ... an acquired taste

LOL!! There are other people who appreciate Seedorf apart from me you know?
It's about time Ancelotti let him play in his favourite position, as a proper #10!

I seriously didn't know ;)

We were a little worried, since you didn't even show up to celebrate Seedorf's recent goals ;)

Yeah Pupone ... you got us worried there for a bit. Not too sure about him playing #10, but if it means Brocchi into the starting XI + less blank-firing strikers (not Pippo, of course  ) then I'll be content. But if it doesn't work out as planned + A. resorts back to the 4-3-1-2, I'm afraid to say that I'd prefer Brocchi in left midfield over Clarence. If only his game on the pitch was as intense as that off it ... :D

Passion, you do realize that the 4-4-1 means much less playing time for Pippo, do you? :(

Don't fake disappointment ;)

I'm sure the 4-3-1-2 will remain Ancelotti's preferred system, he didn't appear to be ready to rebel against Berlusconi's 2-striker decree + make a complete switch + was only talking of an additional option. Whatever the case, performance should determine the amount of playing time, not 'pet player status' or other factors... which is a bit of wishful thinking regarding Ancelotti.

^^ I've always said Pippo's probably the best poacher I've witnessed. I've always been a fan of his movement + positioning and hope the couple of goals he scored during the friendlies over-flow into official games. In order for that to happen (Pippo scoring), A.'d have to play 4-3-1-2 as Pippo simply cannot cope with the physicality involved in playing lone upfront. Nope, the man for that, among our current crop of strikers, has to be Gila.

Regarding A. letting B.'s wishes govern his decisions, I think he's well past that stage and I assume wants more of a say in decisions affecting the club. As it stands right now, I think Milan needs A. right now, more so than A. needs Milan. He's a decent coach but probably not as effective on the players now as he was in the past. Besides, I think we played a 4-4-1 in our last official game against Udinese.

PS. Us guys aren't known for faking it :D
