Aside from that obvious mistake, I really liked what I saw from him. Kid was confident, fought hard, not afraid to put some tackles and move the ball forward.

The kid seems talented. More talented than I assumed at first. But if he's this desperate to prove himself and earn more minutes then he should be sent on loan already in this transfer window.

If this kid thinks of being a passer he would be so dangerous. This is because he has a gliding style of dribbling, a bit like Rui Costa which sends opponents into a mess and disrupts their lines, so it creates good opportunities for teammates to control and shoot instantly.

I mean, he has the movement of an attacking midfielder but I don't think he is set to shoot on the run. If he becomes a good passer who sets up direct shots, he will eventually have more space to shoot on goal.

This was the most infuriating thing that happened all game for me. It's an almost guaranteed goal if he plays Brahim in after Leaos run pulls the defender away from that zone.

If that's poor decision making then he has tonnes to learn and is nowhere near ready, but the alternative of being selfish is even more worrisome as that's a trait that isn't easily ironed out of ppl's games.

I wouldn't even bring him on in the next few games as punishment for that, but whatever Pioli decides to do I will support as Pioli doesn't seem the type to reprimand like that or utilize those tactics with his squad.

The problem there is that he's looking at the ground in front of him, not looking to be aware who is where. He sees Leao's run, but not Diaz off to the side. Has to learn to play with the ball at his feet while using vision of those around him.

I'm sure he will learn, he's still a kid.

Seems to possess solid physical traits and has good technical skills.

He?s obviously green, but I?m looking forward to seeing him develop. His natural skills alone show more promise than most of the primavera kids over the years at his age.

It?s not like we are desperately counting on him to come through, which is great. He can eat up minutes to give others rest and hopefully develop along the way.
