I can understand Eto'o earning that much (well at least being the highest payed player in Serie A), he has just come from a team that won it all and he was their top goalscorer and he scored in the CL final...I'm yet to understand what Dinho did a year (2 years) before comming to Milan to earn that much (and is it me, or is he winning a million and a half more than last year?).
These questions pop up when you look at the things at the pitch but there are other variables here. Eto'o needed to accept Merda's offer so they would get the exchange and that load of money and his agent milked it.
Dinho knows he's worth outside the pitch and this was added to his deal. I mean how many subscriptions we had the week he signed for us? His contract uprise was also talked about during the agreement but I remembered it was if we win something(guess it was a CL qualification then)
But again I state these are speculative numbers. The rest is tax + coach I think.
It's weird that our payroll has grown while we lost our highest earner and haven't added too much weigh through extensions or new signings.
