I can understand Eto'o earning that much (well at least being the highest payed player in Serie A), he has just come from a team that won it all and he was their top goalscorer and he scored in the CL final...I'm yet to understand what Dinho did a year (2 years) before comming to Milan to earn that much (and is it me, or is he winning a million and a half more than last year?).

These questions pop up when you look at the things at the pitch but there are other variables here. Eto'o needed to accept Merda's offer so they would get the exchange and that load of money and his agent milked it.

Dinho knows he's worth outside the pitch and this was added to his deal. I mean how many subscriptions we had the week he signed for us? His contract uprise was also talked about during the agreement but I remembered it was if we win something(guess it was a CL qualification then)

But again I state these are speculative numbers. The rest is tax + coach I think.

It's weird that our payroll has grown while we lost our highest earner and haven't added too much weigh through extensions or new signings.

I actually read it decreased. That said, I'm not sure if we ever payed Sheva and Maldini's wasn't that big (let's say in terms of salaries, Oddo equals Maldini's)...and if those numbers are correct, I'm pretty sure we're paying Dinho 1.7 millions more.

La riprova viene dal Milan che nella scorsa stagione è arrivato a spenderne 170.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (you know that pink papper with nice italian words in it :D), we were paying 170 millions in total, today it's 125,5.

True I mixed up 2007 article. But other team fans are saying the same illogic appears(at Xtratime).

You trust my memory and a rumour of a player you have no proof to blossom like he did in Doria to call such legends like that?

Also they both have one of the hottest wives not to do that.

thats how it works though.... you get paid on past. you don't give a youngster 5 mil cause in 3 years he'll demand more. you make your peak around early 30s then it backs off....

all professions are really like this, when you start at a company, no matter how promising you are, even if u r a manager or boss u dont get paid as much as the older ones

Ronaldinho was by all accounts earning 8 million net at Barca & his wage now is 6.5 million because he agreed the reduction.

The figures given are net on the individual players with the overall total at the top gross, with 40 something percent tax.

Milan have acurrent wage bill similar to 2/3 years ago & this went up greatly with amassive extension for Kaka', Sheva coming back etc & this was brought down with departures & will fall quite abit further when players like Dida,Oddo etc will probably leave in the next year.

They have also got some figures wrong like Ronaldinho,Gattuso now earns less etc. So Milan Milan have probably got alower bill than they have for anumber years & as I said this will probably fall further in the next year.

The funny part about this is that Kaka' & Ibra where earning more on their own than nearly half of Serie A teams with all their squads put together, when you think Kaka' was on 20 million gross ayear. Eto'o is the same currently. It is crazy.

If your going all "dsm im a online fifa manager accountant" at least get your facts right ,Chelsea paid his wage bill or most of it .

They might have paid 50% at most & that would still leave amimimum of 60,000 aweek for Milan to pay.

No chance that Chelsea would help out completely unless it was certain that Milan would sign him.
